  My system is Windows xp home edition. I have uppluged and reconnected to my usb port several times, tried different 2.0 ports, connected my old webcam and recognized computer, restarted my computer several times and reinstalled at least four times. I have two original disk Microsoft hd-5000 3.0 installation and I tried both, I do not see the web cam in Device Manager. I don't understand why my computer recognizes my five or six web cam when you plug it in but nothing when I plug the Microsoft hd-5000.

  Hi, I can't get this cam to work. In Windows live messenger, it detects sound via the microphone, but the camera does not work.

  Ive had a quick glance at the resolution of the problems on the microsoft Web site, and none of the solutions seem to work.

  Method 1: When I am looking for the drivers I can't find. Theres no "microsoft lifecam" in program files or System 32.

  No other methods seem to work, I went into the registry but I can't find the Manager to Logitec so I guess that that is correctly uninstalled.

  We installed the software, plugged the LifeCam at the USB port and it worked for 30 seconds.

  We called Microsoft support and they picked up our computer via LiveMeeting and solved the problem.  He said a piece of code has not loaded correctly and we would never have found the problem.  He was very helpful and fixed it without problem.

  I uninstalled a bunch of updates to save space. Then 2 software has failed or has an error. Predator of storm who needs the library of work properly. I was able to fix this software after the Software Runtime has been installed, but cannot get the camera to work even after I uninstalled and reinstalled.   I realized that the problem was the program that follow the LifeCam.
  It doesn't have the option 'mirror' or 'reverse' functions.
  I solved my problem download and installation of software "ManyCam" on "baixaki. It has this feature and others.
