Microsoft. NET Framework problem

Five minutes after turning on my laptop, I get the following message: -.
Microsoft.Net Framework
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click on continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click on exit, the application closes immediately.
"String was not recognized as a valid time.

When I click on leave, the message does not appear again until I restart the computer.
What is the problem and how to fix it.
I use Windows Vista.

Hi tariqlaw

Thank you for using the Microsoft Answers Forums!

There are a few questions, I would like to ask to help you better:

Since when you receive this error message? Have you made changes to your system?

We can try a few steps to check if it works:

Step 1:

Put the computer in a clean boot (namely if any third-party software hinders the process)

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Check with step 1 (run a clean boot):-If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.

(Note: after find you the problem causing the program, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program and also don't forget to put the computer to a normal startup)

Step 2:

1. uninstall the .NET Framework that is installed on your system. To uninstall, go to Start -> type appwiz.cpl in the start-> programs and features windows search bar will appear. Select Microsoft. NETFramework and uninstall/remove it.

2. After uninstalling this version, we need to reinstall the latest version of .net 3.5 SP1. The link to download: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=en

3. restart and check.

Hope this information was useful.

Let me know if it worked.

All the best!
