  Here's what I use and recommend: (these are all free and very effective versions.)

  I recently updated my Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 and I am running iTunes vs 12.1.2.27. I have the settings to automatically search for updates, and it used to do that on Windows 8.1. Now on W10, when I manually select "Search for updates", the message box comes up saying I'm already under the latest version, but I see we vs 12.4.0 out there today.  Why is this?  I'm on a laptop Dell Inspiron, W10 64-bit.  Any suggestions? Thought I would ask before downloading a new facility and what might cause other problems.

  I am trying to understand what the point of disk utility. I checked (several times) my boot drive (SSD) and a second internal HARD disk, disk utility says it all goes well and nothing in need of repair. Meanwhile, I can say drives are certainly * not * ok since I get poor system performance, and the HARD disk is sprayed randomly when I access/copy some files.

  I went and got the SMART utility and Disk Warrior, SMART utility written my boot drive is FAILING and my HARD drive has FAILED.

  I am now under DW on it, but I'm pretty annoyed that utility disk is essentially useless to see if there are problems with the discs...

  Disk utility and disk warrior can only repair the files in the directory, they are unable to repair a disk that is physically / mechanically failing.

  I've been watching photos to a hour drive today when all of a sudden windows from the disk of thought was empty. When I went to the file management bar to my dvd, CD-ROM drive was almost to the end, indicating that the disk is almost full (and not empty), but the bar was red instead of the normal blue. I have another copy of the disc, so I got that one. Once more after watching it for about 30 minutes, the photos have disappeared and he told me to drag items to burn. I tried all the fixes on the internet (regedit, uninstall/reinstall, update driver), nothing works. The disks have been created on this computer and work well on other computers. Just stopped working on this one.

• Installer says AfterEffects is installed, but it is not.

  Is it possible to convince cloud installer it's wrong and force a reinstallation of an application?

  AfterEffects CS6 is absolutely nowhere to be found on my system and I have never installed (Mac OSXcurrent), but the Installer 'installed' says cloud beside sequelae and no offers no continuation of the deliberations on the question.

  Everything is installed and working properly, but I can't find a way to uninstall or clean up after an application that isn't there.

  I would check to

  Installers \Applications\Utilities\Adobe

  Look there to see if you find an uninstall program for After Effects CS6.

  If you don't see it, I'd probably uninstall applications CS6, download and run the tool from here
  http://www.Adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

  and remove only CS6 apps (after uninstalling), then reinstall. Start after effects first just to make sure it works.

  This kind of thing is not normal and should generally not be held, but I suspect that this will fix it.

  I removed the Bing on my computer because I don't like it much. Given that Google has become such a useless piece of junk, I decided to re - install Bing, but whenever I try, I get the following message.

  If this does not help, then delete the search.json file and a possible search.sqlite in the Firefox profile folder.
