  Hi guys,.
  Today in the morning, when you import pictures from my Canon EOS Rebel Xti, I tried to change some settings in the dialog box "import pictures and videos" and to my surprise the link (button) Options does not work. I used to change the folder where the files would be saved or if the images would be deleted or no device.
  I think that it has become defective after the instalation of Windows Live Photo (Essentials), have you heard of this issue before? Is there a solution? Should I uninstall the Windows Live?

• Desktop browsers does not not after the installation of Windows 8 Pro

  Since the installation of Windows 8 Pro, I can't use any browser in the office, nothing to do. All problems seem to get fixed by going to the browser on the desktop, but IE, Chrome and Firefox do not work on my desktop. The Machine has dual Zeon 3.20 Ghz. the procesors are identical. There bus 800 MHZ front. It has 6 gigs of 400 MHZ DDR2 Ram. I've updated to the latest version of the bios a few months ago. It has worked very well in dual boot with the last pack of 64-bit XP and Vista 64-bit SP1 for a long time. I tried to upgrade using a clean 64-bit Windows 7 installation when I got the error Stop Multiprocessor_Configuration_Not_Supported: 0X0000003E. I tried to upgrade to Vista and XP with the same error message. I also installed a new unformatted disk and tried to install the operating system again through the CD and got the same error.

  I bought myself a x 201 tablet a few months back, because I thought it would be great for taking notes during my studies. And I was right

  But after I upgraded my windows 7 to windows 8 when it was released last Friday, my scanner will not work correctly. It seems that the stylus is not really recognised as a pen. There is no pressure at all sensitivity, and clear with the back of it does not work either. It seems the wacom drivers aren't there.

  I tried to download various drivers for it and set up of the digitizer, but nothing seems to do the trick.

  Hope someone can help me, because I really need to be able to take digital notes soon.

Photos, in particular, never get to the file printing.  The TEst Page from Windows printer shows printer is installed correctly. Have tried to reset the printer (unplugging / plugging) without success. Have not found new drivers for the printer.  What should I check before I agree to replace the printer?

  It didn't reinstall the ATL update, it reinstalled 2005 Redistributable. So now, I have 2005 and 2010 x 86 both. And it says that two dates installiation are two days after I installed the 2010. I know 2005 and the update was uninstalled, because I checked after restart the computer and before you install the 2010 version. Very curious.

  I have a problem, and I don't know if there is a solution, but here goes.

  My laptop is a HP DV6-7029WM Windows 7, 64 bit.

  I want to reinstall Windows back to the default settings. I put disc 1 (System Recovery DVD) and close.  I reboot and it goes directly to the office. I hear the whirring disc, but nothing happens.

  I go to the control panel > Recovery > advanced retrieval methods. I click on restart, and it loads files and then says DVD set, which I do. He told me that he does not recognize the installation disc.

  I googled this problem and found a poster on CNET that had the same problem as I do. Also, I can't do a system restore.  My problem is the same as this poster on CNET.  I can read DVDs and CDs.  Those that work very well.

  With recovery disc 1 into the DVD drive, restart the computer and at the beginning of the HP welcome screen, press the ESC key to display a menu of options.

  Select the F9 boot menu option.

  Select the DVD drive on the list of bootable devices, and press the Enter key.

  Watch the screen for additional instructions.
