mid2015 macbook pro stops

MBP stops at least once a day.  This is the error report that I get.  It lights up immediately with what seems to be no problem.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thank you very much

  • MacBook Pro stops during games

MacBook Pro 15 "beginning 2013 retina

    10.1

    SCM: 2.3F35

This doesn't seem to be an overheating problem. He was able to play the League of Legends in the past with no problems. Now when the game is loaded the PC will completely disable 45 seconds into the match. I am able to join the game after that 45 seconds have elapsed and the macbook will not stop past this point and I can play the game.

The problem is on the top graphic games like Left 4 Dead 2, when there are things like the fire, the framerate will drop and it will start stuttering, 3 seconds later the PC shuts down completely.

Trying to play cs, the game starts up, the map loads, a few seconds later, macbook stops.

Tried to reset the SMC, which seemed to help it last more than a few seconds, but did not.

Do you know what could be the problem? What is a graphics problem? Turning off graphics power would solve anything?

EDIT: I forgot to mention this Macbook Pro was introduced in the apple store and they said nothing was wrong with it and they want to get in shape.

    Thanks for any help.

Oh I love how they want that to get in shape.  Cheap easy way to find the solution.

However, you must review each game official system requirements and compare with unity of graphics (GPU) on your computer.  Recommended system configuration should be observed, not the minimum.  When only the minimum requirements are met, the game may not run properly.  The System Profiler will tell you what you have.   MacBooks have many dual GPU, and their control is done through energy-saving:

Set the graphics performance on MacBook Pro - Apple Support

Changing this setting can help your game works or not.

You can also run test material on your Mac in extended mode, starting with him was ' key using Apple Hardware Test - Apple Support

If successful, the RAM or GPU could be a problem.   But that's where Apple wants to try reformatting.

A way simpler and less intrusive than reformatting, becomes a player external and just install an empty operating system on it and the game alone.  That will reveal if the problem is hardware or software.

You should still have a backup of your data and preferably two: *

  • My Macbook pro stops unexpectedly when approximately 30% of load.

    Hello

I have a Macbook Pro late 2011 2.8 GHz, 4 GB of Ram (I've already ordered a kit of 8 GB and waiting for her) running on OSX El Capitan and recently changed the battery. It worked fine for the first two weeks. It loads normally and work fine without fresh power. A week ago, he began to stop himself when he was about 30% remaining battery. Indication of battery level lights flashing a couple of times, everything as he had no more battery left and 3 of them would be on again. If I tried to turn it on, it would go up to a certain point and then close itself again. It wouldn't light up to accused. I've read that it could be due to heat problems, but this occurs even when the fans are very low and the macbook is cold. I read this reset THAT SMC can solve the problem that I did that and still nothing. Can someone help me please?

  • MacBook pro stops during boot, same drive boots imac

My 2009 MB Pro has a 2 TB with (MacOS 10.11) inside drive. It suddenly started to stop a few seconds in the boot process. When I walk in target disk mode I can still boot my iMac using this same internal drive via firewire. I used it like that for a few weeks with zero problems.

I ran each diagnostic that I can think on the drive, including the latest version of Techtool Pro, and the player with the flying colors each time.

I suspect the problem was the MacBook Pro hardware, but it starts on another internal drive (with 10.6 on it) very well.

Any idea what I can do here to get this drive of my MacBook Pro starting again?

  • MacBook Pro stops when the lid closes, loses the open tabs and background image...

    Hi all

I recently had a new hard drive installed in my 2012 13-inch MacBook Pro. I am running El Capitan 10.11.2. Since then, my computer cuts automatically to the bottom when the lid is closed, losing all Web pages, and for some reason, some background, I've saved. (My browser is Mozilla Firefox and it prompts you to restore me the tabs lost, which he will).

The led standby does not blink or light up when the computer is turned on, it will turn on only at startup. At startup, the login page is displayed, and after that I entered my password it takes about 15 to 25 seconds to load and open my account. What is going on?!

    Summary:

Stop when the lid is closed,

Loses the background image & open Web pages.

    Standby blinks only when starting,

Time of loading extended after logging into my account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot for reading.

    http://support.Apple.com/kb/TS2917

  • MacBook Pro stops during sleep

My MBP 15 "mid-2015 retina stop completely during sleep. Often when I get back to my MBP, I have to start from scratch because it stopped during sleep. There is no message in the log to indicate why it closed and no error messages or indications of kernel panic. Sometimes the power and battery and with or without the lid closed. Latest OS X with all updates applied.

Reset the SMC (and NVRAM) does not help. Apple Diagnostics is no problem, and Genius Bar suggested I have first of all to make an OS X install excessive, then a clean install because they believe that it is a software problem. I tried to install too, and it made no difference. Pure install then, but I delayed, because it involves a lot of work in store again my work environment and data, it is not useless in current state - it's just a problem of waiting for the start up and then restore whatever, I was working on the last.

    Any advice?

There is no message in the log to indicate why it closed.

    There could be.

Wait until the Mac stops unexpectedly, and then check your system.log file to identify the numeric code associated with the stop. Read below.

Locate the Console application - it is located in your utilities folder and looks like this

You can find it by selecting utilities in the Finder go menu.

    Open the Console.

If the list of newspapers on the left column is not already displayed, view journal list by selecting view list of newspapers on display menu of the Console.

Locate system.log in the list, and then select it. Many date and time-stamped entries will appear, hundreds of them, and you need to find the relevant entries to your Mac problem.

Do that type the word cause stop in the field filter on the top right of the Console window.

Who will do all the log entries be hidden, except for entries that contain these words. There will be a numeric code associated with the entry of journal from «Cause of previous stop» What is this code?

  • Can't stop Macbook Pro

I can't stop my MacBook Pro (El Capitan 10.11.6). 2015   I usually hold the power button to set up a dialogue allowing me to sleep, restart or shutdown.  But it does not work.   Then I clicked on the Apple logo at the top left and choose the following several times, stop, reboot, logout.   Nothing has worked.

Then I tried using the following key sequence:

    Command + Option + ESC

And then selected Finder-> force quit (as well as Safari-> force quit)

    I also tried

Command + control + Option + power button / stop

    But that did nothing either.

Others supporting them and now the power button long enough to sharply cut power - I'm out of options.  If anyone can suggest that a better way let me know.

    Thank you!

By chance I discovered how do I restart my MacBook Pro

    Control-command + power

In my view, that there is a similar keysequence to the MacBook to sleep (which is how I found the above).

Interestingly, after the reboot of the MacBook a bunch of applications I used were with open windows and everything.   This was not the case while I was trying to stop my MacBook.   No application window is open (what you could see anyway).  So, which made me feel that something has been made a blunder in and preventing the normal shutdown or restart.

    One last thing to add.

What started all this was not be able to eject a disk of my camcorder SD.   I went to the internet for advice on connected eject that wouldn't eject.  One idea was to close your session by pressing the Apple logo in the upper left corner and a disconnect.  I did - but it seemed things went eventually kind of weird.    Hard to tell if the disc is ejected was the actual cause or if it was the fact that I had a lot of application windows open all night.   (I'm trying not to do)

In any case, my question seems to have disappeared.   But, if anyone has anything to add to make a little light on the subject then do not hesitate to comment.

  • Can't stop MacBook Pro after upgrade to Mac OS Sierra

Yesterday I had upgraded my MacBook Pro since OS X El Capitan with macOS Sierra. Unfortunately I can't stop him, I can't even restart. Whenever I have start/stop I get a black screen (no slider) and it remains frozen. I have to hold the power button for a few seconds so that he will stop. I want to avoid cleaning the installation and configuring everything. Does anyone have an idea what causes this problem? I cleaned the cache and reset the NVRAM without effect.

    ... I cleaned the caches

I recommend that you do not have this, especially with a 'clean' non-Apple utility. All these things can do is cause problems. A SMC reset will remove some files from the system cache: reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac. That's all that anyone should ever do.

Back up your Mac if you have not already done so. Read https://www.apple.com/support/backup/to learn how to do this please. To learn how to use Time Machine read to use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac.

Then, shut down your Mac and restart in 'Safe Mode '. To learn how to do it please read: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up. Compare works your Mac in Mode for how safe it was.

Then restart normally. If the same problem comes back, please read the section If a problem does not occur in safe mode for actions recommended to Apple.

Finally, you can temporarily create a new user account and log into this account to determine if the problem also exists when connected to this account. To learn how to read How to test a question to another user on your Mac account. When you are finished troubleshooting, you can remove the temporary user account by following these instructions: macOS Sierra: remove a user or a group. Before you delete, confirm that you have not need of all the files that you have possibly set in this account.

  • MacBook Pro has started to randomly stop when it is on battery since the upgrade to El Capitan

I have a MacBook Pro (15 inch, early 2011) which works very well on the Mountain Lion for a long time. I finally got round to upgrading to El Capitan last week: directly to 10.11.6. A few days later he just powered down without warning while I was working. He was so very well for a few days, but then made several times in the last 48 hours.

I am moderately sure it happens only when it is on battery (it did not in the past hours 8 while that plugged). Whenever it happens, that there is no warning and the Mac then fine restarts (manually) - Although the clock resets always in 1970 until he can contact an NTP server. One of the curious side effects is that my PostScript fonts were blank on the screen in Excel for a few reboots yesterday but then OK once again!

No hardware has changed. Major software change is only El Capitan and possibly an iStat Menus update.

I have reset PRAM and SMC. I ran the short AHT. I disassembled the machine and clean the fans. they were OK, but the problem seems to occur when the Mac is hot.

Spotlight and Time Machine sometimes seemed to be struggling for the upgrade, and I also saw rpcsvchost with 100% of a core for a while. The machine feels sometimes slow - but for the last 8 hours, it was very good. The only model that I put in place, is that it seems to occur only on battery; It's even happened then that the Dock (etc.) were loading after logging in after an unexpected shutdown.

The other thing common is in the newspapers every time:

    Cause of previous stop:-128

I scanned a number of related posts to aspects of it, but do not look at who blames El Capitan rather than material. Yet, many people reported this kind of problem after the upgrade... Coincidence?

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Cause of previous stop:-128

A negative stop code generally indicates a hardware failure. Have the Apple to assess your Mac. The fix may be as simple as a spare battery.

  • MacBook Pro does not stop.

My MacBook Pro will be stop or restart.

    Hello, Steve840!

Thank you for joining the communities Support from Apple! Looks like you have a problem closing the Mac. I know how it is important to be able to stop and restart the computer as well. Here are a few troubleshooting steps that you can try. Go through each of them at a time and see what step fixes the problem:

    • Try to determine if a particular application is the source of the problem. If an application always crashes when you stop and cancels the process then update or remove and reinstall the application. There could be a message that is displayed by saying that an app has cancelled the restart or shutdown. Read this article toForce an app to close on your Mac.
    • Perform a software update (open the App Store, then click on updates > update all).
    • Update any software that you have installed outside of the App Store. In general, open the app and choose Help > update > update software.
    • Make sure you have FileVault disabled (System Preferences > Privacy & Security > FileVault > turn off FileVault).
    • Open disk utility. Choose the main hard drive and click on check the disc. If there is no problem, click Repair disk.
    • Follow these steps to reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac. This removes the startup items and conduct audits to see if something in the background can cause the problem. Don't forget that you can always press and hold the power button on the MacBook, until it stops to completely power off to restart.
    • Follow these steps on How to reset the NVRAM on your Mac.

    See you soon!
