Mini 210% of the battery cannot go > 75%

Hello. I have a mini 210-2036TU for<2 months.="" i="" recently="" just="" noticed="" that="" my="" battery="" percentage="" indicator="" cannot="" go="" higher="" than="" 75%.="" last="" night="" i="" charged="" it="" while="" the="" notebook="" is="" turned="" off,="" and="" the="" charge="" light="" indicator="" (orange)="" was="" on.="" however="" in="" the="" next="" morning="" the="" charge="" light="" indicator="" still="" shows="" orange="" (as="" far="" as="" i="" know="" when="" the="" batt="" is="" fully="" charged="" the="" light="" indicator="" should="" turn="" blue).="" i="" did="" though="" update="" the="" bios="" recently="" to="" fix="" the="" missing="" home="" end="" pgup="" pgdn="" keys,="" but="" still="" not="" sure="" whether="" the="" bios="" update="" is="" the="" root="" cause="" of="" the="" battery="" charge="" issue.="" does="" anyone="" have="" the="" same="" experience,="" or="" know="" any="" solution="" to="">

Problem solved by following these steps:

  1. Unplug the AC adapter / CC & remove the battery from the laptop
  2. Press the power button and hold for 60 seconds
  3. Plug the power adapter, put running the laptop and let windows start
  4. Leave it for 5 minutes then shut down windows
  5. When the laptop is turned off, insert the battery
  6. Turn the laptop computer, start Windows, and the battery indicator in the Windows taskbar should now display the battery level indication

    original title: battery problem

    To all,

When I cut my computer on it comes up telling me that the battery cannot be detected or displayed.

I unplugged the battery taken power and put it back it, that did not work,

The battery is fully charged and when I check the battery in the control panel for the strength of the battery, the system is telling me, it is fully charged and there is nothing wrong with my battery.

Then I ask why I get this error when I start my computer.

Can anyone help me on how can I do to fix it.

    Thank you

    Hello

Check with support from the manufacturer of their books online and the drivers and their forums system
(as applicable) for known issues. Some manufacturer issued BIOS and other updates to help the battery
    problems.

Control Panel control - plan change Options - power plans - power - advanced settings
Parameters for the drainage and the use of parameters (this is how much to use and not how much or how)
    long to load).

In fact, what causes a lot of wear on a battery empties it too low on several occasions. With today
systems overload are not a problem.

Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.

Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil
eraser (do not use this, if your battery is fine slots - just clean up the edges of the knife which fit in)
them and be careful). Batteries are old, or it could be a problem with the computer.
Check with the support of the machine system, and many of them have on line forums.

New Lithium-Ion type battery usually last longer if you do not unload then less than 30%
However on a laptop that not extend their life a lot. Best is to use the a/c adapter
    When this is possible.

I use the free version of BatteryBar to monitor my battery. Click on the green button on the
Yellow box on the right side of the page to download the latest stable version.

You can also check with the manufacturer of system and forums that many use their own
proprietary software to monitor the battery and they could be known problems with your battery.

  • Tecra 8200: flicker of brightness of the screen on the use of the battery

I have a Tecra 8200 running Windows 2000 Pro. The problem is with the brightness of the screen flashes intermittently, all a few minutes when it's on battery. The Toshiba power saver utility seems to work OK. his answer seems to depend on remaining battery life, that is to say less than 50% there is no difference between 'normal' and 'long life' with regard to the brightness of the screen.
Superior to 50% there is no difference between 'normal' and 'high power '. There is no problem at all when running on the current.

  • HP mini 210 1040eh: a 10.8V or a 11.8V battery

    Hello!

I have my netbook (hp mini 210 1040eh) years. I change the battery because that primary is not working properly. It has a characteristic of 10.8V. I was looking for a replacement with the largest capacity (5600mAh) and especially found only 11.1V.

If I buy one with 11.1V it will make problems for my netbook?

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hello @moni17

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I have included the maintenance and care for your laptop computer guide. Inside, it shows compatible spare parts. Everything that is not on the list has not been tested to work with the material and could cause potential problems.  HP Mini 2102, HP Mini 210 and Mini 210 - Maintenance and Service Guide Compaq

If you use a power adapter that charges to a higher voltage, it will probably translate into a higher level of current within the computer, that will turn warmer at the very least.

    I hope this helps.

  • The certificate of authenticity where for my HP mini 210-1000SA?

    Hello

I completely wiped my machine (no available recovery option now) and just made account I can not find the sticker COST for my HP Mini 2010. Anyone know where to find?

    Thank you very much!

In fact MS COA is located under the bottom cover of the Mini (see here: http://www.netbooknews.com/6790/hp-210-hd-broadcom-hd-encoder-upgrade/bottom-open/ ), then you need to start by removing the battery, then the lower lid (no screwdriver not necessary, see service guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02241565.pdf ).

  • What are the upgrade options (memory, video, audio, etc) for my HP Mini 210-4022 YOU?

Are there options to upgrade for my netbook HP Mini 210-4022 YOU?

I'm hoping to hear that there is in the following categories and their corresponding limit for upgrades:

    - internal memory (currently 2 GB of DDR3 memory, as far as I know, but am sure it's 2 GB), I want that this more general if possible

    - graphics card (integrated Intel, I know it is soldered on the motherboard but maybe, just maybe? a upgrade?) Some games I can't play and having problems with simple games and apps that should not be a problem in the first place as PlantsvsZombies because the latest drivers cannot Martin play this game and other games as well and I need to uninstall the drivers of the said... Is that how it supposed to work backward rather than forward? But I hope I can improve this...

    - audio (but that's fine, I have beats just want to know)

Thanks in advance and more power for HP... My brother for your business works if all goes well I have not made a mistake in buying HP products... But so far so good, a few small bumps on the road as I call it...

  • HP Mini 210-1000: Please help! Battery does not charge even if it's plugged

Hello! I'm writing this fear and despair because my HP Mini 210-1000 is defective and I'm working on my undergraduate thesis.

    The problem:

The battery says it is plugged and charge but after giving a few hours to recharge, it is still stuck at 65%. Another thing is that I must keep the trendy netbook so he can stay in power. He started last night when I was finishing a paper, then the laptop stops suddenly. When I restarted, I thought it worked well. Then things started acting weird after.

    I already tried things:

    -cold reset

-30 dry to hold the power button

-HP battery Test and turned out the battery be "good."

    Data sheet:

-HP 210-1000 (I got it for not more than 5 years already.) I just changed the battery cable last month. This is the first time, it acted weird)

-10 Windows (32 bits) | originally from Wndows 7 Starter

    -Intel Atom

    -CPU N450 @ 1.66 GHz 1.67 GHz

    -BIOS Configuration: F.04 - 12/30/2009

    -Product number: WD344EA #ABV

    -Serial number: CNF005CBGQ

    Please help me.

After five years of reliable use the battery is more capable of providing the power as it did once.

So, Yes, it seems that the tests failed.

In the wizard in the HP Support, there is usually a calibration option which restores the full charge, which is 100%, which is currently available.

If the battery has no real ability to the left, then it will be in fact a bit of a moot point.
