  First I searched on the internet I've read so many threads on this subject but none is regarding my problem.

  I think the only way is to contact the PVAT developers and ask them to re - support my wireless again in a new version if they make one, as I badly need it disable Bluetooth wireless as well.
  Although I can turn the WIFI off but the light will stay on.
  I there is another way, can someone say I'm willing to try

  I have a portable Equiem which has XP Home Edition (SP3) on him now (originally Vista)

  * There is no sound at all
  * Wireless does not work now, only works with a cable

  I didn t find Win XP driver on the European driver page, but AFAIK the Equium L40 supports the card Atheros Wlan, ADI AD1986A audio chip and Agere Delphi modem chip.

  No available Windows XP drivers are the Qosmio X 300-11. I searched on the Toshiba driver download site but I t didn't find anything.

  But you can search on other sites to get Windows XP drivers. Here are some examples:

  I put t know when comes out the P8900 but. You can upgrade the processor, but it will be not supported by Toshiba.

  First of all, I would like to mention that I tried all the solutions on the web that is about even close to my problem but still not arrived to fix.

  So I decided to write here and hope someone knows how to solve the problem.

  I have a Toshiba boom P50T-A113 Touch laptop comes with windows 8 unique language.
  When I first bought it 2 months ago, he was working well. And I'm sure that I used bluetooth to transfer files back then.

  After that I've upgraded to 8.1 windows my bluetooth device has disappeared.
  I tried to reinstall the drivers from the toshiba Web site but it did not help.
  So I reset to factory settings and return the origin of windows 8, but bluetooth device did not return.

  Here are some symptoms that might help to understand the issue:

  1. it has been a symbol of bluetooth (2 sub-options grayed out of one of them was peripheral bluetooth generic I guess) in Device Manager if I open show hidden devices on the view menu, but he disappeared after the second time I update to 8.1. Now there is no bluetooth device at all.

  2. There was a non-working bluetooth switch greyed just below the switch to WiFi when I was on windows 8, but he went too after 8.1.

  3. no bluetooth in the lower right corner icon.

  4. I installed driver of toshiba system still nothing.

  5. when I try to install the website of toshiba bluetooth stack, it loads some files and installation section stucks pilot bluetooth and asks me to connect the bluetooth device, and then click ok.

  6. I tried troubleshooting on the devices and the network. Did not help.

  7. There was a non-working bluetooth submenu when I right click the Notepad icon to control panel-> audio-> devices and printers, that there is no after 8.1

  I hope someone knows how to solve this problem because I can't use my laptop without a bluetooth device, and this is a new old laptop 2 months. You can't imagine how frustrating is not to solve a software problem, after 1 month internet search.

  Driver webcam for Win8/Win8.1 does not generally exist and device uses Windows drivers. That is the reason why you can't find on the Toshiba download page.

  As you say the laptop was preinstalled with Win 7 64 bit. so why you n t make a Windows 7 home premium to Ultimate upgrade?

  Maybe you can collect some drivers 64 bit of Win XP to the unique address of any websites 3rd part.

  You need not install W7.

  If you want to update the BIOS (which I don't recommend unless your laptop is having issues addressed by the BIOS update), and then update the BIOS by using the file on your laptop support page by using the operating system supported.

  It goes the same for firmware.  Firmware and BIOS updates are hardware specific and are not pilots (they are the binary code that can be compared to the brain and nervous system of the unit).  If a problem occurs during the update, or you apply them to the wrong material, you can start your laptop in the trash.
