  • Missing camera problem - cannot export (share options greyed out)

    I'm under El Capitan 10.11.3

    10.2.3 FCPX

    I7 MacBook retina (2012)

    8 GB RAM

I worked on my calendar, creating several minutes of content.  In the background as well as media files import and transcoding, I noticed that all my stock options were grayed out.  I learned that I stumbled upon import of problems due to the lack of space on my external hard drive as they are for most of the 4K files.  I understand that when you work with 4K you can work, but you must wait until all transcoding of files before exporting a show.

I also made the mistake to rename some of the clips in the bin case after being placed on the timeline (I think this might be part of my problem).

This combination of import to a drive with enough space to allow the final transcoding with name change has created a lot of clips of CAMERA MISSING - so NO the ability to share.

I bought a larger capacity drive and copied all the files in the new storage of 2 TB.

One - I do an import/reimportation of camera/player.  (in some cases if it does not work - I am again an import - then try to link)

I am finally able to exit then restart and see FCPX that my changes TAKE so I think I'm on the right track.  Sharing options are grayed out still, but I think that once all are properly reassociated on the timeline, I should be ok - right?

    Here are my questions:

Why not see problems with my events (no yellow warning sign) everything seems fine - I can change but can not export?  Sharing options are still grayed out?

Then if I stop/restart FCPX - all yellow and Red warnings lack of cameras back.  I thought I solved the problem, but sometimes getting rid of missing camera is a big chore.  I'm on the right track?

Thank you very much for your help!

It is important to allow the import of the whole process independently of the clips - not only 4 K resolution. And part of this process is transcoding if you choose optimize. So I think you're on the right track - you have files with incomplete optimized versions. Suggest that you select your clips in the browser, right-click > transcode media and create optimized media. Open the window of background tasks and monitor if transcoding is started and if it ends.

Post back and let us know whether or not exporters continues to be a problem.

  • Missing camera alert

    Hi all

I'm importing from a Canon Vixia HFS30; about 5 clips totaling about 1.5 hours from the internal HD cam.

Each item is displayed in the browser, and it has a little icon of camera at the bottom left of the icon. Not all the cameras show that I noticed the icon. What is this icon

import?  I'm not looking for import in the FCX help but nothing.

Previously I dragged all the sequences in the timeline and it played, but now it's missing on reopening FCX and have disconnected the camera and it

is the 3rd time it has happened.  FCX gives me the red icon of MIA.

How can you check on the progress of the import?

One additional wrinkle is that the owner of the cam has no power cord then use batteries running energy during the import process.

    Thank you

    Al

The badge of the small camera means that the clip was not entirely imported.

Connect the camera, select these clips with the badge and do file-> import-> import camera / Archive.

Import occurs in the background, and for these long clips, it may take some time. You can check on these substantive activities by pressing command-9.

  • Missing camera Calibration profiles

I used to have a bunch of profiles of Adobe in the Calibration of the camera until I upgraded to LR CC 2015.6. Now, it is only a default option and it says "matrix". How can I get all of these profiles as Standard, neutral, faithful, landscape, etc. back?

I have a Canon EOS 7 d mark ii so that camera profile should be recognized.

    Mike

I have this camera and use LR CC 2015.6 and continue to have all the camera profiles expected.

See 'matrix' usually means the profile files, themselves, are missing or inaccessible.

If you're on a PC, you can review it to see if the profile files are still there:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\Resources\CameraProfiles\Camera\Canon EOS 7 d Mark II

To get them back to uninstall and reinstall, first LR CC 2015.0 then updating, both available as a manual download from here:

  • Missing camera on iPad mini. Restrictions locked out

Hello. My camera has disappeared from my iPad mini. I think it was when I had the screen replaced. Anyway, as I was following the instructions of a member of the community, I found that my limitations were activated, but could not turn off because the password has already been tried unsuccessfully to 3 times (apparently the limit), and now it is blocked. I don't remember trying to unlock. How to take this point? Thanks for any help.

  • Stage missing camera button

    Hello

This morning I woke up and found the camera on my Z3 began without reason.

Looking at that I discovered that the camera on the side button was easy to press on, almost with caressing above the button. There is also no trip by pushing the button more (as a volume or power buttons).

In the camera app, which begins when the button of the camera stroking, I can't use the same button to actually do the photo.

It seems that half of his race went. Is this a known problem, has anyone advice how to solve?

    Hi @Atacama,

    Welcome to the community.

It's the physical camera button, right?

I recommend that you contact your local support team you will need to repair your handset.

  • Missing camera profiles

When I'm in Raw worm 6.3.0.79 and go in the Calibration of the camera, I only get the choice of generic Canon under the camera profile. How can I get the profile for my Canon 50 d in there?

The situation you describe is normal.  As stated earlier, profiles provided by Adobe is not the name of the camera in them when listed in ACR and LR, because they're all at your camera.

You can create your own profiles using DNG Converter from the laboratory Adobe profile and an X-Rite Color Checker or X-Rite Color Checker passport which combines software and corrector of color.  When you create your own profiles you can name them what you please.  You could also decompile the profiles of the Adobe with something like dcpTool and insert your name in these copies.

  • missing camera raw

I had to reinstall photoshop the other day.  The next day, I tried to open some of my raw files in bridge and it's as if there is no such thing as my camera raw?  Then I tried to re - install all cs3 and has not worked.  I spent in and try see if I updates... did not work... I have read through some of these forums and checked in library > application support of > adobe > plugins > cs3 and there is a plug in there? can someone help me?  Thank you!!

This means that you have two copies of the plug-in on your computer.  Go back and read the installation instructions again and made sure that the 4.6 is in the right folder.  Then, use whatever search you all the Mac to locate each other and get rid of it.  As long as you have two versions on your computer, you will have problems.

  • My photo app has disappeared during the synchronization... I have now no camera on my Iphone 6

I had all kinds of trouble sync my apps with Itunes so I took up to bare bones and finally got my phone to synchronize. Somewhere in the process, I lost of the Apple device that comes standard on all Iphones now and have no idea how to do to get it back.  Also, when you push and hold an icon/app, it shakes for allows you to delete or move, but there is no X for you actually delete.  So weird!  I just I have to return this camera..., tomorrow we leave for vacation!

    Hello davisdavis04,

If you do not (x) to remove an application, then you're probably using an integrated application that can not be removed as added apps.

    Find apps - iPhone

Delete an app, Touch and hold the icon of the application on the home screen until the icons wiggle, and then tap on . You cannot delete the built-in apps.

This brings us to the missing camera application.  Because it is integrated, it cannot be deleted, but it can be hidden.

Get help with the camera on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

You do not see the camera application

You should see the camera on your home screen app.

If it is not there, use search to find it. If the camera does not appear in the search, check to see if it is blocked.

Go to settings > general > Restrictions and look under allow. Make sure that the camera is on.

    Have an unforgettable experience.

  • Windows\System32\Config\System is corrupted or missing

I restarted Windows XP Home edition using the software/operating system installation CD.
I deleted everything and started again and when the Setup is finished, she has restarted.
Then the message "windows\system32\config\system is corrupted or missing" came and said it should be repaired in the recovery console.

Boot from the Windows XP CD and go to Recovery Console - follow this document to do http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307654

    Go to the command prompt.

Then change to the C: by typing C: and press ENTER.

Then type CD\SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATION and press enter

Then type DIR /AH and press enter (this will show you a directories even if they are hidden directories)

    This will show a few directories... one in particular starts with the name of directory being _RESTORE {there is a long series of random letters and it ends by}

Type CD _restore {then the random set of letters, dashes and numbers in the directory list of the above command and ending by the}, and then press ENTER.

Then type dir and press to enter.

It will show you a bunch of directories that begin with RP - something like RP1366.

Look at the last entry in directory PR.  If IE RP1366... then look for a couple of directory entries...

Type CD RP1364 to some directory of restore point that is relevant to your directory entry.  Just don't do the last restore point directory - I would go back 2 or 3 directories restore point.

Then type DIR /AD and press enter

Should display a directory called SNAPSHOT

    Then type CD SNAPSHOT

Then type DIR and press enter

You should see a few files but two in particular.

    _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SYSTEM
    _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SOFTWARE

Type COPY _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SYSTEM C:\windows\system32\config\system and press enter
Then type COPY _REGISTRY_MACHINE_SOFTWARE c:\windows\system32\config\software and press enter

Then restart your PC and see if you can connect.

  • "NTLDR is missing"... do you have I wipe all my father-in-law laptop?

I tried to make a backup in the file of my father-in-law 2006 hp laptop running Windows XP. It would allow me to make the backup file, so I clicked 'OK' and the computer restarted. Hello

System Restore does not affect personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos, so it cannot help you restore a deleted file. If you have backups of your files, you can restore files from a backup.

  • DJI devices are not not in the filter metadata "Cameras".

I have the current version of Lightroom 5 running on OSX 10.11.4.

I imported dozens of images and videos on both my Osmo DJI and DJI Phantom 4 SD cards, via a card reader and yet neither are listed in the filter metadata under the list of cameras - or lenses.

Videos and images are instead listed under "unknown Camera".

How can I tell Lightroom about these missing cameras?

Jpg they appear not as 'DJI Osmo' and 'DJI Phantom' but as 'HG310' and 'FC330' respectively. I'm wondering now if there is a way to change this so that they appear with the correct model numbers - or what I need to change the metadata of every time I do an import?

These are the names of the models that DJI has chosen to incorporate into metadata, for example

    [EXIF] Make : DJI
[EXIF] Camera Model Name : FC330

A quick Google search reveals this is how people refer to specific models.   If you don't remember the model number, just filter on the brand ("DJI") and you will see the available model numbers.
