• inventory of missing vCenter using the web client?

  I just upgraded my environment to 5.1 and for some reason, one of my vCenter servers shows no inventory by using the web client. I double checked the permissions on both sites and have checked the inventory in the vSphere client and everything seems good. I have two related modes and the other shows, everything is fine. I tried repointing and re-application as in accordance with article (KB VMware: repointing and re-application VMware vCenter Server 5.1.x and components) but all exits show as being already recorded. Any ideas?

  Hi all

  I have two controllers cRIO-9074 on my network, both with the OR-RIO 4.0 software installed.  When I open a web browser to display utilities 'OR configuration & monitoring Web-based', a cRIO not show four of the eight tools on the left side of the interface of Silverlight.  Missing the Console Remote File Browser, Web Server Configuration and installed the Configuration Tools.

  I would like for the user of this system be able to download its data files, every day or so using the remote file browser, so this feature would be nice to have. Any ideas?

• NetApp VSC v6.1 UI is missing from the Web Client v6.0u1

  I recently updated my vCenter Server 5.5 to v6.0u1 (2k12r2 for Windows with backend SLQ 2012). With that I installed a fresh instance of Virtual Console storage NetApp v6.1. All was working perfectly until I've restarted the vCenter after about 2 weeks of operation of the new version. After you restart the gui NetApp VSC and features were missing completely on the web client. The plugin has always shown as active in the webclient service is, however, no GUI. Strangely when I try to disable the plugin from the web client, it refreshes and remains only set as active.

  In heavy client, the icon was always present, however with the new version (6.1), no functionality can be achieved through this and you are just re-directed toward the Web Client of VMware. Backups were still underway at the scheduled time, even if the plugin was not visible in the Web Client.

  I tried the following:

  The re-registration plugin

  -Stop webclient VC services, stripping any trace of com.netapp* of the VMware folder of the directory (program files and program data). Mainly located in the folder of vSphere-Client-serenity

  -Departure VC web customer service

  -Re-enrollment VSC with VC

  All the re - install

  -Stop services of VC

  -Stripping any trace of com.netapp* of the VMware folder of the directory (program files and program data)

  -Stop services VSC

  -Do a complete uninstall

  -Remove the VSC installation directory

  -Reboot server VSC to delete reg keys

  -Install the new copy of VSC 6.1

  Re-record with the VC Server

  The same question is observed. The plugin shows as being installed. The extension "com.netapp.nvpf.weblient" exists in the breast of the https://< vCenter > / mob. (see attached screenshot). The thick client still shows the plugin as permitted, as the web client. I still cannot see the interface user via the web client despite the plugin is installed and activated.

  Tear out my hair with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  An update on this issue, it could be useful to resolve any other issues similar and research...

  After 4months our case eventually made its way to the development of the web client team in VMware. The problem has been identified as a corrupted file in vCenter which is responsible for organizing the status "enabled/disabled' plugins customer web. Difficulty as follows:

  "C:\ProgramData\VMware\vCenterServer\data\vSphere Web Client\SerenityDB\serenity\ALL\client.package.states.

  The solution was: -.

  • Delete the file
  • Open customer vcentre, administration, plugins
  • Disable a random plugin (this forces the State file recreate)
  • Exit vcentre and then reopen
  • Plugins should now be visible
  • Customer goto plugins and re - turn that which has been previously disabled

  I work in a project of technical manual that we prepared in Microsoft Word 2007. We recently purchased Adobe Robohelp 7 to create a help on the Web for our system.
  
  After importing a 200 page manual with several graphics (GIF) in a project to help on the Web, we can see the whole manual to draft HR 7, but the graphics are missing, we have seen the legend which was below each chart. In some cases (after re - import the word file), the image file was created but no images were inside the project view. In other cases, there was simply not at all the image folder.
  
  I tried to delete the images folder and re-create it, but it did not help. I also tried to import the graphic into the project folder, but I can't find a way to do it.
  
  When I went to windows Explorer and navigate to the project folder, I notice the pictures folder was there and all the graphics were inside. Why they are not imported in the project...
  
  Any help will be be very happy.

  Thank you, but we were able to solve it today.

  The solution, we copied the entire manual in a new word using the file copy - paste, recorded as test.docx and tried to import it again in HR 7. Now the imported document is OK, with all of the graphics is not displayed correctly.

  We cannot send the manual out of the Office since its confidential.

• Photos from the Web site do not appear on Firefox, but they do in Safari. Did I miss an extension or plug-in?

  Site Web html content appears, but not embedded photos. For example, on the page of rei.com of goods, all data appear except the product photos. In Picasa, outlines of the pictures appear, but not photos. This problem occurred day after cleaning hard drive with OnyX Automator. I run the repair disk utility and rebooted the computer, but the problem persists.

  Is he missing pictures then make sure you are not block images from certain domains.

  You can use the following steps to check if the images are blocked:

  • Open the web page that has the missing images in a browser tab.
  • Click the site favicon (How do I know if my connection to a Web site is secure?) on the left end of the address bar.
  • Click on the "More information" button to open the "Page Info" with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "tools > Page Info").
  • Go to the Media of the window tab "tools > Page Info.
  • Select the first link of the image and scroll down through the list with the arrow down.
  • If an image in the list is grayed out and there is a check mark in the box "block Images of..." and remove this mark to unlock the images from this area.

• WVC54GCA Missing WPA/WPA2 security in the web interface options

  I just had a WVC54GCA and discovered that there are some missing configuration options in wireless settings:

  Web interface > base: Wireless Settings > [modify security settings] > Security Mode:

  the drop-down list gives me two options: Disable WEP, but not WPA, WPA2.

  I've upgraded to the latest firmware (1.1.00 build 02), but the problem remains.

  Tried different browsers (Firefox 3.5, IE8) with the same result.

  Is this a bug in the firmware?  A defective unit? Anyone else having the same problem?

  Try to reset your IE browser settings and then try to connect to your camera configuration page and check if you are able to find that the options... If it is still impossible to find the WPA/WPA2 Option on your camera, press and hold the reset button for 60 seconds... Release the reset button... Unplug the power cable from your camera, wait 60 seconds and reconnect the power cable...

  Now check if you are able to find that the options... If still no so I think this could be the problem with the camera...  I think that you need to replace your camera.

• Windows 7 64-bit Lightroom CC Web export fails - message says "the original file is missing.  It is a nonsense.  If I use an excerpt from browser, the web page is created without any problem.  I use page preview created as a round work but why don't web

  Trying to export a web page standard, as I have many times before with LR 5.  Now with Lightroom CC web export fails, with a list of images, each original saying file is missing.  They don't miss - all other types of export work OK.  The overview of the web browser works well and I use it as a round piece for the moment.  Please Adobe sort this issue!

  This problem has resolved itself.  The export feature now works as it should.  I not did something to fix the problem - very strange - but thanks for trying to help everyone!

• How to do graphics work on the Web?

  I am very new to Illustrator. I am trying to create a banner for one of these sites Do It Yourself. I created my work and he recorded for the web and devices. However when I download, it the image is really tiny. If I stretch out, he loses the quality and irregular.

  Just an addition: assuming you have CS5, creating a document for the web & devices should have to line up on the grid of pixels, enabled by default, which means that the work is adapted according to the pixel values whole while you work around mobile Anchor Points. It can be disabled in the transformation Panel.

• Need settings for base color for the Web (graphic) design

  Ok... I know there are 1 million different threads on the topic and found confused me too much on the subject.

  I'm looking for just standard (not detailed) on setting up the color scheme in photoshop CS5 to design my web graphics.

  I work for a small business that color management is not a huge problem, but want to start somewhere.  And if someone can give me the web layout of basic color settings (maybe even a palette download link) for the PS to help me get started, it would help a lot!

  I would first profile your gamma of 2.2 the monitor profile. D65/6500 or point native white.

  A package of material is recommended for this task (a washer that reads the screen).

  So try these settings in Photoshop (Edit > color settings):

  

  Try these settings and save it with a unique name.

  These settings will give you a warning dialog opening if your file does not have an embedded ICC profile, or if the profile is different from that of sRGB.

  Always 'Use embedded profile' and then convert to sRGB when necessary.

  If your file does not have an embedded profile, Edit > assign profile (sRGB is a good try, then Adobe RGB, ProphotoRGB...)

  Leave your setting Save For Web (SFW) by default.

  This will automatically convert sRGB and the profile of the band...

• How can I stop missing ID of the warnings of the police on imported eps graphics?

  I have a lot of imported graphics with all fonts converted to text vectorized.eps.  However, InDesign CS3 (Mac OS 10.6) is constantly give Miss warnings from the police.  When I use 'Find a police' the only options that are available are 'Find graphic' and 'done '.  When I open the graphic in Illustrator, I find no fonts.  Everything is described.

  How can I stop this annoying warning?  I don't want these warnings concern to my office.

  Well, you could stop using EPS for beginners.

  It's an antiquated file format. Use instead HAVE or PDF from Illustrator.

  And one more thing, stop send native files to a print and send a PDF file. Who will take care of all your problems.

  All that being said, I suspect somewhere in EPS files, there are still some information from the police, but without seeing them I would just guess.

  Above is the link to the Web page of the problem. I downloaded via FTP from Muse. I was able to open image & css files of the page in cpanel. I opened the html page in the code editor for cpanel and watched links structured the same as the pages that work. Any ideas anyone has would be greatly appreciated. I use google chome Version 40.0.2214.91 Mr.

• "Publishing Services" is missing in the Web module

  I just upgraded to v.2.7 v.3 & v.3 beta on Windows SP3 of CP.

  I do not see 'Publish the Services' menu in the left tab of Web module (only preview, design, browser and Collections)

  I don't see Flickr Manager plugin, but not in the Web module.

  I uninstall and reinstall LR3 - no luck

  Any suggestion how to get publication Services to display?
