Missing my Touchpad

Mine was stolen, but they do not have my charger. I hope that they never understand. I miss my Touchpad.

Hello and welcome to the HP support community!

Ouch!  I feel your pain.  I have still two keyboards that work perfectly!

Unfortunately, any charger that has a micro-USB plug that provides 2 amps will charge the tablet.

Palm support site is still operational and offers the option "I have lost my camera" to clear your account!

I would head as soon as POSSIBLE here: https://ps.palmws.com/palmcsext/console/pages/LoginPage.iface?rvn=1

I hope that you do not forget your login info!

  • Satellite L500 - missed strikes & touchpad to stop intermittently.

    Hi all

    I recently purchased a Toshiba Satellite L500.

I noticed that when you type, I missed here and there strikes.

When I press and hold a key that the letter runs as normal then stops then runs again. It occurs intermittently and a pain.

I also realized that the touchpad is having the same problem - intermittently, he stops for a split second then works.

Has anyone else had the same problem?

    See you soon

    Hello

    > I have noticed that when you type, I ran out of strikes here and there.
Have you noticed even when the touchpad is disabled?
You can disable the touchpad through FN + F9

Generally, it is difficult to say what might cause this strange thing is that this problem does not appear when the USB mouse is connected.
Have you installed the USB mouse driver? If so, then a 3rd party driver can cause this

Also check if your BIOS is up to date

    Hello Wendy

Please do not be angry on me, but we can't discuss on this path. If you want an answer you must validate your model of laptop. Maybe you have a few old and Win7 not taken in charge the machine and this driver will be not be relased at all.

Please post exact information and we can have serius discussion here.

Anyway, if you are missing the touchpad Win7 Vista try to install driver.
I did the same thing on my Satellite A300 and it works perfectly.

Touchpad features are missing how do I get back them?
It seems to me it is considered as a PS 2 mouse as opposed to a touchpad.

Someone has any idea how to recover advanced features?

For example, I can use is no longer on the side of the touchpad to scroll.

    Hello!

To be honest I n don't know what you mean with advanced features.
    Maybe you can explain this.

However, try to update the driver for the touchpad that you can find on the Toshiba site:

  • Synaptics Touchpad and Pointing Device Driver missing on Satellite A200?

    Hey,.

I received a notification of upgrade on the touchpad synaptics installed on my laptop A200 - 1 m 4 and after I installed that the touchpad respond well, so I rolled back the driver, but he wouldn't use the scroll option. I reinstalled the driver again, but still I couldn't use the scroll function.

On the icon in the taskbar, when I want to see the chart pressue accessory it gives me this msg * sorry, this program requires a Synaptics TouchPad, and the Synaptics pointing Device Driver * I miss him the 2nd can't so anyone made me know where I can find the installer for it.

Thank you very much in advance,
    LEEN

    Hello

Satellite A200 - 1 M 4 belongs to the series of PSAE0E and you choose this serial number for a driver download.

On the European driver Toshiba page you will find the * Alps Electric Touch Pad driver *. (This driver allows you to set the properties and functions of mouse control) and
the * Synaptics Touchpad driver * (this driver allows you to set the properties and the touch pad control functions).

    Both must be installed!

If that doesn't help then try to roll back the BONE to this early time (until you've updated the driver for the first time)

    Good bye

and check that you have the folder options to show hidden files and not to hide system files.

Normally, it showed as icon in the control panel?

  • Touchpad T420s falls down within 2 days of purchase. EDIT: Today, it works! And missed once again. Sad

So I had this T420s of the rummage sale.

Arrived on 14 March and 15 March the touchpad began to act up.

I restored the system to factory setting, since it doesn't have a lot of data anyway. Thought that software updates can be messed up. But none. He acted like the word go.

It's like if the right click of touchpad button is still pushed down. On the surface, it seems normal.

They organized a collection of the laptop. There is no loan scheme in force right now in Australia, it seems.

Kind of sad. Didn't expect this flimisiness from a Thinkpad T series.

Infact the optical disc drive on the right side of the laptop, which also has a bit of free play.

Hoping that they challenge the laptop as soon as possible and return.

I will keep informed forum member.

This problem of touchpad is a common thing? Because as soon as they heard it they arranged for a pickup. No diagnosis.

The cable between the touch pad buttons and the back of the touchpad is a bit too long on T420, T430, T420s and T430s. It is easy to pinch against the case when it is installed, the son of cracking. I saw 4 machines with the problem

I've had my laptop for 10 days.  The cursor jumps so badly that the computer is almost unusable for anything other than the electronic reading or browsing the web.  The only way I can stop the cursor jump is to dsiable the touchpad through Fn + F7.  There is no sensitivity setting in the mouse properties.  How can I fix this without spending money to strongest a brand new computer?

Go to the Manager device, uninstall the driver for the touchpad, reboot and let Windows install the default driver. See how it works. If you want, you can reinstall the driver of Acer, regardless of the touchpad you have. I guess it is 8.1.

This problem occurs on Windows 8.1

    Try this:

    (1) go to c:\program files\DellTPad\

    (2) in this directory I

    (a) DellTouchpad.exe: this is the called application of the control panel which you published the photo.

    (b) utility DellTPad.exe other setting touchpad. At the launch of this I have this option (English translation) 'a finger actions/multi-doigts of shares', and then it allows you to establish one finger vertical/horizontal scrolling.

It is not necessary to answer this question, I have managed to sort it out - apparently I had disabled this device and I found the right screen to turn it back on.

It's a brand new computer and it takes me a little while to get my head around it.

    My apologies for disturbing you.
