Do you have enough space on your system partition (where Windows is located, usually C) for the swap file (typically 1.5 times the amount of RAM you have)?  If so, move the swap file to C (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307886 ) and then change the drive letter of the partition of 'problem '.

Say your team AD to set "a little." exactly which opposes and what partitions are missing. With this information, you can start new export only objects and the partitions that are missing, then import them and you will have the full data set, you don't have to import in the first test.

The one you suggest how to solve this problem without refreshing again...

There's no other way to do it logically correct. You could possibly play and have fun with links to the database and to add the missing items through some SQLs, but something as I have explained in a few lines above is certainly the more normal way to do it when you have scenario you described

  • Using Bootcamp - missing partition

Hello, I tried to install Windows 10 using bootcamp.

It seemed to work very well, and then restarted in. X OS (under OS X 10.11.6) when I look for the partition, it is not found. I have a 500 GB hard drive and it is currently show only 370 available. Disk utility shows only a single drive. I tried to uninstall windows using boot camp, now it will ask only to install again but I have no more space in the partition.

Would simply return to a partition, or if possible correctly install windows. I appreciate all help.

  • EliteOne 800: HP_RECOVERY and HP_TOOLS missing partition after re-install-why only on one system?

    Short:

After you have reinstalled Windows Pro 8.1 with the original OS from HP on two EliteOne 800 DVD, I got scores HP_RECOVERY and HP_TOOLS on a PC, but not on the second.

    Long:

So I got two new 800 EliteOne out of the box, as well with blue screen (iastorA.sys). Sad quality question, but nevertheless, I got the 8.1 original DVD Pro with systems. So I reinstalled completely the two systems. Two BIOSES have the same exact parameters, the two systems are actually identical.

First installed very well system. The DVD of 8.1 drivers to install all the drivers, including Intel RST and SSD caching.

I see drive d (HP_RECOVERY) and drive E: (HP_TOOLS). At the time of startup, F11 works. In Windows, diskmanager shows all partitions.

Now to the second system. Installation went smoothly as well, BUT... I don't see the additional partitions. So F11 will obviously not work.

    What happens here?

I also recognized that on the second system, the drivers are not installed properly. Installing the software on the drivers disk HP tells me that everything is installed and I need to reboot, but no. On the next check, drivers were not installed.

    What else can I check?

    DH

After that I got a 3rd system with exactly the same issues, I believe that this is a generic problem with this type of system.

I formatted all drives outside the system. I used the Bootcd (i.e. UBCD) to do the same while the disc was still in the system.  Finally, I was able to successfully install the 3rd system. But I have in vain on the 2nd.

In any case, I put this in the list of the mysteries. I haven't the time more to study.

Overall, I am deeply disappointed with these HP systems.

You can determine the type of wireless network card if you check the vendor and device ID in Device Manager. Enter the two codes on this Web site and you see what WLAN car you have: http://www.pcidatabase.com/

Regarding your question on the partitions on the HARD disk, you should look in disk management. Maybe you need to format the first partition or create an extended partition.

  • Cannot restore Y500 - missing partition Recovery.

I had two of the same OS Windows 8.1 on my Y500 (cloned from the original SSD). Then, last night I tried to 'refresh without affecting your files' option for my OS on the HARD drive so I have a new OS to go back to incase anything happened. then on the screen of Lenovo, it said that the E: drive is being updated as well so I panicked and turned off the computer. Now, I can't access either of the OS. What should I do? I made a return to the top just before and aft of the files are still there in a partition on the HARD drive, I did. I used a boot Puppy LInux USB to see the files on my HARD drive but it wouldn't let me transfer it to an external hard drive. • Missing Mac 8.1 Windows partition and Bootcamp

So, I have seen very similar messages and followed several forums, but I can't yet figure out what to do next.

I have 8.1 Windows on my Mac.  I wanted to repartition the Windows partition and make bigger it because I was running low on space, and the Windows partition is what I use it mostly for graduate studies.  About a year ago, I took an easy youtube video and used Mini Wizard Partition re-partition space and it worked perfectly.  I have found the same video and tried to repartition the Windows partition again, but apparently I royally screwed up.

My BootCamp is not yet visible more in disk utility.  Under the partitions, there is an option called "disk0s4" greyed, but I'm not allowed to do something with it.  I can't verify or repair.  If I go to Applications, BootCamp Assistant is there, but he wants me to start the installation of BootCamp.  It was not an option to restart Windows more, and when I turned on with alt + market, Windows was not an option more.

    I followed this tutorial:

    http://nerdr.com/bootcamp-partition-lost-repairing-Mac-partitions/

and when I restarted my Mac, restart Windows was an option. So I thought that I fixed it! EVIL.  My screen was black and said: 'Missing Operating System '.

I downloaded EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard for Mac (because it was another suggestion), and I was able to recover and see the files on the NTFS disk0s4, so I'm quite positive, they have not all been completely erased.  Or at least the part of basic Windows is still there.  I can't recover the drive to anything, because it tells me that I will just be fitness on the same drive, and I honestly don't know how to retrieve these files will help with the side of the partition of things.

I also used TestDisk and it seemed to find my missing partition, but in the middle of analysing it, it says something like "disk too small."  After further research, I went through and took only the most recent score that seemed to be deleted with NTFS, and when you are trying to do, it would allow me to make a 'logic' partition because he said something in red, as 'bad file.'

My Mac still works perfectly, but I'm terribly need to recover my windows.  All suggestions are useful!  Thank you!

  • Windows 7 RTM Installer deleted logical Partitions

My computer has two physical hard disks, each with multiple partitions. I did a custom installation of Windows 7 Professional RTM on the first hard disk, deleting an old primary partition containing Windows XP (which wouldn't start). However, after I installed Windows 7, ALL of my logical partitions on this disk had also disappeared. The Windows 7 Installer creates two primary partitions: the big partition I realized it, and a partition of 100 MB system reserved. (It is always not allocated the remaining space on the disk, as the new partition for Windows 7 was smaller than the Windows XP partition, which I've deleted.)

    Former route:

    GiB 250 NTFS (primary)
    100 MiB ext2 (primary)
    3 logical partitions (two ext3, a FAT32)
    100 giB encrypted (primary)

    New layout:
    100 MiB NTFS (primary)
    149.9 giB NTFS (primary)
    Unassigned 100 GiB
    100 MiB ext2 (primary)
115,66 giB space (!) free where the logical partitions used to be
    100 giB encrypted (primary)

It seems that the installation program has decided to get rid of my extended partition. How can I recover my old logical partitions?

I managed to restore the missing partitions to aid CGSecurity's TestDisk, but it took some doing. Always, however, the fact that the Windows 7 Installer has deleted my partitions without asking confirmation is more worrying. That's what I guess happened:

Disc has 3 primary partitions and one extended partition, before starting the installation.
I told the installer to remove a primary partition and create a new one in its place to install Windows 7 on. He wanted to do a second primary partition, so she won another partition to delete. He didn't tell me that. He said he may need create additional partitions, but nothing has been said to delete those that already exist.
The Setup program has installed Windows 7, and my extended partition was gone (so logical partitions inside it were no longer accessible).

I recommend strongly anyone install Windows 7 on a disk that contains several other partitions to create a partition for Windows 7 in advance (using the management of disks or DiskPart.exe), instead of using Setup to do. In this way, it will not create the partition of MiB 100 extra.
