Missing pdfmaker files CD player

Hello

I've recently updated CD player, on my computer Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1.

Since then, I can't create PDF save it in the menu, and I can't print to a pdf file in the menu printing

I uninstalled CD, rebooted, reinstalled, nothing helps.

I checked all the solutions proposed on unavailability of difficulty PDFMaker in MS Office

(1) PDFMAKER does not appear in the list of add-ins disabled in Word 2007 (12.0.4518.1014)

(2) PDFMOfficeAddin.dll is missing from my computer.

See the adobe folder in the Program Files (x 86) folder, but there is no PDFMAKER folder in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat CD player

It ends there. Because I can't find dll files or complements, in the folder program files in the add-in lists, I'm lost.

Please help, until what, a week ago it worked fine, the only thing i did was download CD player... and now I can't create PDFs from office...

Drive (CD or otherwise) does not come with the PDFMaker plugin. The fact only Acrobat.

If you had it before, this means that you have Acrobat, not the free player.

  • Missing PDFMaker files

I'm having a problem where I can't right click on a .docx file and "convert to PDF".  The .docx opens in Word and a dialog box Adobe error occurs saying "missing PDFMaker files.  You want to run the installer in repair mode? "I checked the Word COM add-ins and the 'Adobe PDFMaker Office COM Addin" is listed as an Add-in Application Active.  Don't know where to go from here.

I tried the following which have all failed to solve the problem:

Click 'Yes' to start the installer in repair mode

    Windows and Office up-to-date

    Uninstalled Acrobat, rebooted, reinstalled Acrobat

Word, I can print to the 'Adobe PDF' format... that's fine, so there is a work around, but I would like to be able to open files in Adobe Acrobat and convert several files in a single pdf file.  This function returns the same error as described above.  Does anyone have a solution?  My versions of the application are listed below:

    Windows Pro 10

    Microsoft Word 2016 MSO (16.0.6729.1012) 32-bit

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 205 free (continuous). 2015.010.20056

I do not use it so did not save the auto-lien (s), but I read that MS Office 2016 has a 'problem' with Acrobat, and Adobe or Microsoft is working on a fix

According to your network group policies, unauthorized supplements can be disabled in your desktop environment.  Go have a conversation with your network administrator (he or she already knows you very well like the one of-those-Adobe-user requiring administrator rights very advanced in order to install CC and make it work properly).

  • CS3 Error Msg: missing PDFMaker files...

    Hello

I installed CS3 and when I tried to use Acrobat Pro I got the following error message:

"Missing PDFMaker files.  You want to run in repair mode? »

If I say 'yes' nothing happens.  If I say 'no' nothing happens.  What can I do to use my software?

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

    Kathy

According to Bill, you can print to PDF using the Adobe PDF printer. No "interactive" features with it. The content of the page that was just painted to the PDF document.

Alternatively, with Office 2010, try the ability to save in PDF format.

If you wish to use PDFMaker you more replace it to Acrobat X. 3.1.0 update.

    Acrobat X (3.1.0) PDFMaker supports 64-bit Office 2010.

    See: See: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/333/333504.html

n.b. Don't know, but it can be any problems with the integration of Acrobat X (as appropriate) with other CS3 applications.

You do not want to ask about it in the CS forums.

    Be well...

I'm using Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010

I have installed Adobe Reader X

    Thank you

Thanks Pat, this solved the mystery.

For someone else who has the same problem as me unfortunately its not good news. To use the help link in the post previous I understand now, is that my system is not compatible.

When I bought my laptop it came with acrobat 8, at a later stage, I changed the OS to be MS Office Home and Student 2010. This must have been the point that the PDF Maker has stopped working although I discovered this now.

According to the link above help Word 2010 is no longer compatible with Acrobat X and later. If the create a PDF to a word document function will never work now. Emptied!

After trying in vain to my Dell Dimension 4550 under Windows XP SP3 with Dell Studio XPS running Windows7 HomePrem network, I downloaded a file recommended by Microsoft which would "solve" the problem. At the beginning I was unable to execute the file downloaded and kept receiving the message «you don't have permission to update Windows XP.» Please contact your system administrator. "Unfortunately, I am the administrator: o (...) After correcting the problem of 'permission', I tried once more to run the fix MS (WindowsXP-KB922120-v5 - x 86 - ENU.exe). The error message following, that I received was missing "Systems32\rundll32.exe". I tried to re - start the system with the disk OS (even changed the configuration of the system so that the CD player is the only boot drive. No go. Finally, the system charged up to the Welcome screen with my username (which is the ONLY user name and no password). When I clicked on the icon for my use, the office briefly appeared, then returns to the Welcome screen with my name of user/icon. The only other available command turns off the system.

Since I have no way to load the missing/s file to the computer (or I'm not aware of the procedure), can someone please help me with this problem.

Hello and welcome on Microsoft Answers. First of all, I think that your computer may be infected with malware. Rundll32 is a windows core system file required to run applications, but is not necessary for windows startup and so shouldn't stop your desktop computer to load.  I recommend that you restart your computer in safe mode with network. When you are prompted to choose an account to connect to choose your personal account. Download, update and perform a quick scan with Malwarebytes. Display the results of the analysis, and we'll go from there.

  • "The missing config file corrupt" error message appears

When I start my laptop, I get the "Missing config file corrupt" message and I can't start windows, it falls needs the original installation cd-rom!

It seems that I do not have this cd? That I should?

I don't want to just do a restore from the hard drive that I'll lose everything.

    Any ideas?

    Please, I beg you!

    Hello

Have you tried booting in safe mode?
If it is possible, then you can try to use the System Restore tool under Programs Accessories System Tools, you should find.

Try to roll back the OS to the beginning. Well, if this procedure doesn't help then as said jmatthews you save files on the other computer and reinstall the operating system.
