  Hello. I have an account taken on my phone plus two other internet e-mail (Yahoo and AOL) accounts. I had two folders - one that would list all incoming calls as well as mail that came on behalf of the company and a folder for the account of the company.

  The record for one who lists incoming/missed calls, calls with missing mail the other day. The phone should not have been locked, was in my wallet, and did her own thing.

  Now, I received phone calls, it shows that I have "e-mail", but when I check the accounts, all mail was read. I can't access the "folder" where calls are listed to delete missed calls.

  How can I fix?

  On the home screen press Menu page (key BB), and select Show all.

  Check now if your main Message folder showing or not, if present, then just select press Menu, and then click Show.

• Tasks missing after blackBerry Smartphones application that put 5.0 on level

  I'm having a problem with my Tour 9630.  Upgrade to 5.0 and no apps to memo or task.  Tried everything.  Seems strange that BlackBerry would not auto load these applications and allow the user to remove themselves.  I'm tired of delete, reload, research, etc. for this is resolved.  Any easier way?

  My problem was solved!  Yes!

  Somehow, I was able to upgrade to a version of the platform that is not supported by my BB Tour 9630.  When I went to Verizon, downloaded the latest version for my phone which is v5.0 (Bundle 1600, platform 4.2.0.424) and installed it that everything worked fine.  Tasks, Notepad, even all games apps are now available.  When I opened by the Office Director, Applications was all there.  I was able to install patches and Notepad.  Works great!

  Still trying to figure out how I had the wrong version loaded on my phone.  My suggestion is to be careful with the version that you install.  Check with your carrier or BlackBerry that you have the correct version.

• Tone of reminder for SMS, Voice Mail, missed calls blackBerry Smartphones

  I probably forget something obvious, but I can't find the settings necessary for a tone of "reminder" for incoming SMS, missed calls or voicemail messages. In other words, setting a tone that repeated at designated intervals (maybe 5 or 10 minutes) until I have acknowledge receipt of an incoming message or missed call. For example, I often find that I'll be out of earshot of my BB when a text SMS arrives so I don't the original key. The rest LED flashes but it is easy to miss. It is a common feature to most cell phones. Can someone point me in the right direction?

  Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction! I visited the site of the developer ( http://www.bellshare.com ) and my question on their user forum. In a matter of a few minutes, a member of the community suggested that I look into a different bellshare called «BerryBuzz» application As it tuns, that's exactly what I needed. It includes all the features that I want (and more) and couldn't be easier to use. This will certainly be the best $5 I've ever spent on applications of BB 3rd party :-)

  The notifier Red Star for the messages and emails no longer appears. When I notified of a new email or text I can only say that it is by the shape of the icon as no red star appears. Only, it started when I registered my email address on the phone. How to bring back the red stars?

  While moving some of the icons autour, I must have inadvertently deleted the profile icon. How to restore the profile icon?  The phone is in vibrate mode and the need to change the setting.  THX.

  The shortcut bar on my home screen showing my icons disappeared, replaced by just an arrow pointing up that I have to click on for all the icons.  How can I get my icons to reappear on my home screen?

  Reset is a temporary solution.  This is a permanent solution.  Put your finger on the arrow and drag it upwards as far as possible.  Now, whenever you turn on your phone, the display will show that a large number of icons.  If, for any reason, you want to that less icons (like maybe only eight or twelve years), only to drag the arrow upwards as far as it takes to display the desired number of the icons.  It will then be the number that appears when you turn on your phone.

  Icon of BB App World missing after upgrade to 4.0.0.63 running OS 6.0.0.415 on my BlackBerry Curve 9330 of Credo Mobile. Update was BB App World and live. Check the hidden icons. BB App World icon not found. Downloaded BB App World and installed. BB Desktop Software installed App World Watch. Still no icon. Phone says no update of the OS's available.

  More precisely, this:
  On BalckBerry OS versions prior to 6.0.0.706 and the AppWorld icon is not visible, please download the BalckBerry AppWorld veriosn 4.0.0.55 installation.
  Open the BlackBerry browser on the BlackBerry smartphone.
  Open the BlackBerry browser on the BlackBerry smartphone.
  Go to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3
  After downloading, please reboot your BlackBerry smartphone when you are prompted.
  Check that BlackBerry App World is located on the home screen.

  My apologies, without a backup there will not be a way to restore e-mails.  You have e-mail messages saved on your computer or your webmail?  If you do, you can send to yourself and they will be received on the BlackBerry smartphone.

  After a recent upgrade of my BBM icon label changed to net.rim.bb and when I click to send a BBM I get tell screen: Eception missing Exception of resource files.  How can I fix this?  I am running OS 6.0 Bundle 2647.

  I lived a few problems with my Blackberry Curve 9300 (very slow and low application memory, etc.) and so I decided to restore the factory settings. After that, I restored my backup file but when I finished the configuration and tried to change the input language, the Portuguese file was missing (I only have English and English WE available).

  I have instaled the firware once tried to restore a backup completed yet another, but nothing has worked so far.

  You have any other suggestions? I am really annoyed at this...

  From your post, I can't say whether you have followed all the necessary procedures. Therefore, you might need, some, or none of this...

  Language support on a BB is a combination of:

  1. Installation on your BB, a bundle of BONES which includes the language of your choice
  2. Including, in this installation, the language you want (two locations, I recall)
  3. Activation, on the BB, the language of your choice

  So, please, start here... it's how you choose the package operating system appropriate for your needs:

  • KB05305 Location of support for BlackBerry smartphones

  Then choose your package via this Portal:

  • http://us.BlackBerry.com/support/apps-and-software/desktop-and-device-download-sites.html

  Then, from a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model number) to a BB via this procedure:

  • Don't forget ICT the boxes on the screen to select components to install, ALL those relating to the language of your choice

  Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

  • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
  • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

  Don't forget that you remove, since your PC, any other BB OS devices as packages with more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

  If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  I would like to install the Russian language on my SIM free Blackberry 9720 bought in UK (Carphone Warehouse). As instructed, I try to find basic applications in Blackberry Desktop software, but there is no basic apps. After searching the forums, I tried to install software 9720 on my PC but only the O2 version is available and there is still no basic apps. Also I tried to launch the Blackberry Desktop Software with administrative rights, but nothing changes. How can I install Russian language on my 9720?

  The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

  (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

  2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

  (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

  (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

  • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.
  • Use this KB to guide you to choose the right OS package (which can be of any carrier):

  5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

  6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

  6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

  If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

• Missing message from Smartphones blackBerry & Call History

  Without changing options, my BB has decided that he does not want to keep any sort of history of email, SMS or calls.  I checked the General options and I have it set to keep Messages: Forever.

  You are facing constraints of memory in your device. Perform the following steps-

  1. Give a soft reset by removing the battery for 30 sec.
  2. Check the amount of memory is free in your device to Options -> status -> free memory. To view all aspects of database go to Option -> status -> click on the Menu button and then select the database size
  3. Remove the less frequently used application. To remove go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> highlight the application you want to delete-> click Menu , and then select Remove
  4. If you stored your image in the memory of the device to move them to your media card
