• Missing: Tab "Search"

  I try a project output in a CHM file using RoboHelp 8, and the result is completely missing a 'Search' tab. There is a table of contents, an Index tab tab, and that's all. (The project has a glossary, so the absence of glossary it's surprise). I searched through the forums and issues closest I saw were people whose Search tabs "did not work." However, the hotfix in this situation (re-recording of some DLL files), has not worked for me. I hope that someone out there has an idea how find a search tab missing thank you!

  Try this. In RoboHelp, click View > pods > project implementation.

  Expand the Windows pseudo-dossier.

  You see an icon that looks like this?

  

  If you see this icon (the one with no globe inside), double-click it. If you don't see it, make sure first that the type of your primary provision is Microsoft HTML Help. Then click the icon to create a new window.

  

  Whatever it is, you should see the window properties dialog box. You must make sure that the 'Search' tab is enabled.

• Basic missing tab settings

  Hi people

  We have a server farm implemented here with 6 Terminal servers and printers loaded locally on each server. The tab settings in the printer preferences when printing c7260 on two of our servers or our C5240 is missing. On the other 4 servers, it is fine. Exactly the same drivers loading on all servers and in fact all of them were created as of the VMS in a windows image. I've checked everything I can think but can figure out what's different

• BlackBerry missing in Eclipse project type

  I ran the installation to get the site components for Blackberry dev. I had some options display for Blackberry, but now they are gone. The only thing I know that I did was to install the SVN client and simulators. If I look at the installed components it shows Blackberry being installed. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it doesn't work. I'm obviously not an expert with Eclipse (really hate him and chose Netbeans for other Java worked in the past), but seems there must be something stupid miss me to do the things to see the upward. I tried to have a new clean folder for Eclipse and try it all again, but seems it must be some sort of registry entries or some common place looking for files as it says components Blackberry are already installed.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  This is what I've done and things work. I removed the extract Eclipse, I had. I downloaded the complete installation of the RIM and had him install Eclipse as well. At least now I see the project types. When I shoot a project on google code I'm working, then I get another error, now to try to ensure that updates are done (list has nothing so I'll use the VM version to rebuild the list). Did I mention I didn't like Eclipse, the IDE should not be this difficult to work with, but what do you expect for free .

• Entries missing tab in data controls

  I use Jdeveloper 12.2.1. I was working on this project last week and everything was fine. But today when I started the project in Jdev I see the empty data controls accordion.

  I tried to delete the system folder, by selecting contains CheckBox controls data in the project properties without a bit of luck.

  Can someone let me know if I'm missing something. Not sure why he suddenly disappeared.

  Finally managed to fix.

  I compared Model.jpx file from a different application and lying under the missing lines in the tag. Add that and restart Jdeveloper. Now I can see the entries in the data controls.

• Apps missing tab

  I'm on a work computer, but I think I have administrator rights and have installed Adobe (Photoshop CC) products on this computer before.  I try to install a free trial of InDesign, but the Apps tab does not show in my version of creative cloud. The top of the nav page has only ' home community Stock assets.  Apps is just missing.

  Is there a problem with the program or if it is probably blocked by IT?

  I tried following these steps, but not of change:

  1. In the context menu, choose Preferences. Click the account and then click the sign of creative cloud.
  2. Note:  If creative cloud sign is grey, go to step 2.
  3. Of the same gear in creative cloud icon, choose to leave Creative Cloud.
  • 2. Rename the OPM.db file that is located in the OOBE folder located here:
    1. Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
    • Windows XP: \Local Adobe application
    • Windows 7: \AppData\Local\Adobe
    1. Change the name to OPM.db.old
  1. Restart the Adobe Creative Cloud.
  2. Reconnect to your Adobe ID
  If there is a way to fix it please let me know.

• Missing tab of the Spry Menu on CS5 using an iMac (only 2 computers do not see)

  I use Dreamweaver CS5 on iMac in my class. Two students are not able to see the blue tab of the Spry menu bar.  Is there something that should be selected in so that they can see it?  I thought that maybe they missed a step, so we followed our book and recreated the Menu bar on another page.  Once the menu bar is complete and you click on the Blue Menu Spry tab is not available.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Spry menus have been abandoned by Adobe.two years ago because they can not be used by millions of visitors on portable devices.  We use now of JQuery menus or pure HTML/CSS menus.

  I get the following error message when I open this project and I don't know how to fix it. I found similar posts on the forum about it, but I don't know if the steps taken to solve the problem would be the same for Robohelp 9. Please notify. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi Chrissy,

  Could check you that you find some missing topics in your project manager > project pod files (Missing subject would have a red X next to them), the folder in the image could be containing a few subjects that somehow got disrupted. Please go to the location on your drive source and look for the folder that can contains your missing topics, and if you find this path, then from RoboHelp - file > import > Html/XTML all these files in your project.

• Toolbar missing/deleted/hidden project?

  I'm not sure what I've done, I think it could have been an accidental drag-and-drop, but I can see is no longer my toolbar of the project (the most important). When I select view > toolbars > toolbar project, it is checked. I tried checking and unchecking nothing doesn't. I tried other things:
  
  -Creating a new project... toolbar still missing.
  -Release of Robohelp, reboot, etc...
  -Drag and drop other toolbars, but I can still manage to see them.
  -Resizing of other toolbars in the case where it is just hidden/buried.
  Maximize/minimize my screen hoping to see the bottom of Robohelp.
  
  I have no idea what else to do, and this is the toolbar that I use more with backup/Generate/View options. Now I'll have to use the menu file-argh!
  
  No one knows what file this toolbar is located in? I was wondering if I could just replace mine w / a colleagues or something like that.

  Well, after pointing me to the appropriate area of the registry, I was able to remedy. Here's what I ended up doing:

  line ProjectToolbar-> ToolBarFloating (I've changed that between zero and one).

  And a bonus... for about a month now, her icon 'show the selected element' did not work in my toolbar of the project. (Don't happen at all when I clicked on it.) Well, my line of PreviewWindowX has been set to a crazy number (unlike my colleagues at work), so I changed it to hex 93 to match a staff and the feature is working again!

• Making thumbnails missing in the project timeline

  Just that, really.
  I have a multicam clip in my project with three video and three audio tracks.

  Because I was one video angle to another swap, all the thumbnails have disappeared.

  I trashed the prefs in FCP X launch (using Alt + Cmd) and using the preferences Manager.

  I also deleted the miniature library media - but nothing works.

  

  The appearance of Clip on the timeline setting is correct for the thumbnails.

  Any ideas, anyone?

  On the file menu, remove the generated project/library files.  It is a simple screen refresh problem, should be supported in a future update.

• Icon of Wikipedias missing tab?

  Wikipedias icon isn't load in its tab, so far, it seems as if it was the only site that does this. last night the icon loaded fine on the https://www.wikipedia.org/ page, but nowhere on the site, but this morning it is more support there as well. This is well on other computers and other browsers, however.

• Bug: Missing TAB in standalone application

  So far I was at a loss to refine this bug to a small example VI if it is here in general terms, in the hope that someone will have a solution to this.

  I have an application with a large number of subVIs that I develop on a machine Windows XP (LV 2012 latest patch). The main VI has control tab with 10 tabs in it (more a hidden one). I have no trouble to release it as a source distribution on a Win7 64-bit (LV 2012 64 bit running) computer. Things work very well.

  When I try to release it as a standalone application, the tab control disappears on the same exact machine where it works very well as a distributed source! Obviously it now installs as a 32-bit application, since I developed it on a Windows XP machine.

  If I release the same code on another WinXP machine (in fact a MBP under WinXP laptop to in Parallels Desktop), I have no trouble either...

  Where my tabs is on the Win7 machine?

  I tried and check if a simple application of the VI with a tab on the PF would show the same problem, but that seems not to be the case... Nasty bug!

  
  

• Properties of missing tab PDF document

  When I click on properties of a document created with the Adobe Acrobat 8.1 I have no PDF tab over just one general.

• 'Start' missing tab

  I try to help my elderly father of 80 year to resolve this problem on his computer over the phone.  He knows not what he was doing, but the tab start has disappeared from the lower left of the screen.  The only way he can turn off the computer's power button.  Any help would be appreciated.

  It could be that the taskbar was minimized - what happens if he presses the windows key? If the start menu is displayed then try hovering over the bottom on the screen until the resize cursor appears, and drag it to the top. (the cursor turns into an arrow to the top and bottom).
