Missing when files organized by 'months '.

Hello

I have all my photos on my home server. My Windows 7 PCs have '//server/photos' added to the image library. When I arrange photos by folder, I can see all my folders and files. When I organize photos by month, I noticed that I don't see all of my pictures. For some reason any it display only the photos until a July record, but I don't have the pictures that have been taken in the month of August. I have this issue on my home PC and my HTPC in and out of WMC Office. In WMC when the photo screen saver comes on, I also think by my settings, it should show all of the photos taken during the last 3 months, but I see pictures that I had back in May.

I also moved a number of files of my photos folder RAW photos to a new folder on server. When I search in the folder of photos for *.arw, I always for some reason any see the files I already moved and should no longer be there. When I right click and choose the location of the opened file, the folder that need me to account *.jpg files.

Can someone advise please a fix for these issues?

    If you see a message like this:

    Taskmgr.exe - Unable to locate component
    This application has failed to start because VDMDBG.dll is not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

    I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

    You can download it and when you do, place a copy of the file in these two folders (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    c:\Windows\System32
    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache (this is where XP keeps backups of important files).

    When you see the files available for download, you will not see the extension of file (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, etc), but when download you them they will have the right extension.

    When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, it cannot save the file with an extension (for example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

    You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You do not want to use a file called vdmdbg when the name of the file should really be called vdmdbg.dll (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.

    You then put the downloaded files in the correct folders on your system.

    PS Microsoft support engineers - "try running sfc/scannow and check if it helps" will not replace the missing vdmdbg.dll file because it is not what sfc/scannow does.  If you want to see an experiment to prove that, let me know because I have a ready-made.

  • Waiting for redo log file missing when restore main database using RMAN backup that was taken on the database physical standby

    Here's my question after tons of research and test without have the right solutions.

    Target:

    (1) I have a 12.1.0.2 database unique main enterprise 'testdb' as database instance running on the server "node1".

    (2) I created physical standby database "stbydb" on the server "node2".

    (3) DataGuard running on the mode of MaxAvailability (SYNC) with roll forward in real time 12 default c apply.

    (4) primary database has 3 groups of one-man redo. (/oraredo/testdb/redo01.log redo02.log redo03.log)

    (5) I've created 4 standby redo logfiles (/oraredo/testdb/stby01.log stby02.log stby03.log stby04.log)

    (6) I do RMAN backup (database and archivelog) on the site of relief only.

    (7) I want to use this backup for full restore of the database on the primary database.

    He is a DR test to simulate the scenario that has lost every primary & Eve total servers.

    Here is how to save, on the database pending:

    (1) performance 'alter database recover managed standby database Cancel' to ensure that compatible data files

    (2) RMAN > backup database;

    (3) restart db with updated file pfile

    SQLPLUS > create spfile from pfile='/home/oracle/pfile.txt'

    SQLPLUS > the judgment

    SQLPLUS > startup nomount

    (4) restore controlfile

    RMAN > restore primary controlfile to ' / home/oracle/backupset/o1_mf_ncsnf_TAG20151002T133329_c0xq0sgz_.bkp';

    RMAN > change the editing of the database

    (5) all elements of backup catalog

    RMAN > catalog starts by ' / home/oracle/backupset / '.

    (6) restore and recover the database

    RMAN > restore database;

    RMAN > recover database until the SNA XXXXXX; (this YVERT is the maximum in archivelog backups that extends beyond the scn of the backup of the data file)

    (7) open resetlogs

    RMAN > alter database open resetlogs;

    Everything seems perfect, except one of the file log roll forward pending is not generated

    SQL > select * from v$ standby_log;

    ERROR:

    ORA-00308: cannot open archived log ' / oraredo/testdb/stby01.log'

    ORA-27037: unable to get file status

    Linux-x86_64 error: 2: no such file or directory

    Additional information: 3

    no selected line

    I intended to use the same backup to restore primary basic & helps record traffic and the downtime between them in the world of real output.

    So I have exactly the same steps (except STANDBY restore CONTROLFILE and not recover after database restore) to restore the database pending.

    And I got the same missing log file.

    The problem is:

    (1) complete alert.log filled with this error, not the concern here

    (2) now repeat it in real time apply won't work since the Party shall LGWR shows always "WAITING_FOR_LOG."

    (3) I can't delete and re-create this log file

    Then I tried several and found:

    The missing standby logfile was still 'ACTIVE' at present RMAN backup was made.

    For example, on db standby, under Group #4 (stby01.log) would be lost after the restoration.

    SQL > select GROUP #, SEQUENCE #, USE (s), the STATUS from v$ standby_log;

    GROUP # SEQUENCE # USED STATUS

    ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------

    4 19 ACTIVE 133632

    So until I take the backup, I tried on the primary database:

    SQL > alter system set log_archive_dest_state_2 = delay;

    This was the Group of standby_log side Eve #4 was released:

    SQL > select GROUP #, SEQUENCE #, USE (s), the STATUS from v$ standby_log;

    GROUP # SEQUENCE # USED STATUS

    ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------

    4 0 0 UNASSIGNED

    5 0 0 UNASSIGNED

    Then, the backup has been restored correctly without missing standby logfile.

    However, to change this primary database means break DataGuard protection when you perform the backup. It's not accept on the production environment.

    Finally, my real questions come:

    (1) what I do may not do on parameter change?

    (2) I know I can re-create the control file to redo before delete and then recreate after. Is there any simple/fast to avoid the standby logfile lost or recreate the lost one?

    I understand that there are a number of ways to circumvent this. Something to keep a copy of the log file waiting restoration progress and copy up one missing, etc, etc...

    And yes I always have done no real-time applies "to the aid of archived logfile" but is also not accept mode of protection of production.

    I just want proof that the design (which is displayed in a few oracle doc Doc ID 602299.1 is one of those) that backs up data backup works effectively and can be used to restore the two site. And it may be without spending more time to resume backups or put the load on the primary database to create the database before.

    1--> when I take via RMAN backup, RMAN does not redo log (ORL or SRL) file, so we cannot expect ORLs or SRL would be restored.

    2nd--> when we opened the ORL database should be deleted and created

    3rd--> Expecting, SRL should not be an issue.we should be able to do away with the fall.

    Have you tried booting in safe mode?
    If it is possible, then you can try to use the System Restore tool under Programs Accessories System Tools, you should find.

    Try to roll back the OS to the beginning. Well, if this procedure doesn't help then as said jmatthews you save files on the other computer and reinstall the operating system.

    Hello all, sometimes in the past weeks, something has gone wrong in my installation of CVI 2009 SP1 and now the name of the company information is missing when creating the executable

    I have an application created in the beginning ot April it is correctly showing this element in the properties of the file, but when I opened the project now and watch in Build > Target Settings > substitutions of Panel and preview Version Info the name of the company is missing even if '% company' is present on the ground.

    I tried to change the registry manually according to this thread (9.1 subkey) without success: missing company and username as well as the number of series, but even if manually add the name of the company is still missing from the Panel of configuration target and in the same executable file after restart of the CVI and PC.

    I also tried to change manually the .prj file and after this file deletion of cvibuild and files .cws and _dbg, always without success

    IE that the CVI and compiled executable work correctly: it is not a question of errors or unexpected behavior, i's just a question about the management of versions correctly our work (and the fear that this situation hides a more serious problem )

    What may have happened and how can I correct this situation?

    In regards to workaround you've tried, referring to the other forum thread, in CVI 2009 this information are kept is no longer in the registry. For reasons related to the UAC, it has been moved to a file. By default, this file is located in the following location:

    XP:  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\National Instruments\CVI2009\bin\userinfo.ini

    Vista/7: C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\CVI2009\bin\userinfo.ini

    Make sure that the file exists, and that there a [RECORDING] section, with a "CompanyName" label that it contains.

    If it does not exist, also check your startup screen to see if the name of the company appears in the top/left corner.

    Finally, if instead of % company, you type an arbitrary string of characters for the company in the Version information dialog box, this string appears also in the "overview of the substitutions" mode, and it makes the executable you build?

    2. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?

    The ststring.dll file is associated with the secure Dell Data Backup Local software.

    You can set up your computer in a clean boot state, and check if the problem persists. It will start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs and helps eliminate software conflicts.

    After trying in vain to my Dell Dimension 4550 under Windows XP SP3 with Dell Studio XPS running Windows7 HomePrem network, I downloaded a file recommended by Microsoft which would "solve" the problem. At the beginning I was unable to execute the file downloaded and kept receiving the message «you don't have permission to update Windows XP.» Please contact your system administrator. "Unfortunately, I am the administrator: o (...) After correcting the problem of 'permission', I tried once more to run the fix MS (WindowsXP-KB922120-v5 - x 86 - ENU.exe). The error message following, that I received was missing "Systems32\rundll32.exe". I tried to re - start the system with the disk OS (even changed the configuration of the system so that the CD player is the only boot drive. No go. Finally, the system charged up to the Welcome screen with my username (which is the ONLY user name and no password). When I clicked on the icon for my use, the office briefly appeared, then returns to the Welcome screen with my name of user/icon. The only other available command turns off the system.

    Since I have no way to load the missing/s file to the computer (or I'm not aware of the procedure), can someone please help me with this problem.

    Hello and welcome on Microsoft Answers. First of all, I think that your computer may be infected with malware. Rundll32 is a windows core system file required to run applications, but is not necessary for windows startup and so shouldn't stop your desktop computer to load.  I recommend that you restart your computer in safe mode with network. When you are prompted to choose an account to connect to choose your personal account. Download, update and perform a quick scan with Malwarebytes. Display the results of the analysis, and we'll go from there.

    Hello, I have a great difficulty using the file/collection a large file I did months ago, because when I use it, the file is created, but it takes 2.5 to space! compared to others of my works, taking almost 1 TB of files, this one is too big and I think by deleting some files, but I don't want to make a mistake, so I wanted to ask here, if it is possible to take a main composition and only do a file/collection of this composition, objects and elements that serve there (the last I made on my account at least, with the elements used on that, because I think that there are many (if not a large part of them) files and elements that are not used in the final version, as scenes of the version beta of my work, the problem is the composition is too long and have a lot of different archives or drop movies then it could take forever to do it manually...

    1. reduce your project to the desired composition.

    2 recover your files.

    "Missing PDFMaker files.  You want to run in repair mode? »

    If I say 'yes' nothing happens.  If I say 'no' nothing happens.  What can I do to use my software?

    According to Bill, you can print to PDF using the Adobe PDF printer. No "interactive" features with it. The content of the page that was just painted to the PDF document.

    Alternatively, with Office 2010, try the ability to save in PDF format.

    If you wish to use PDFMaker you more replace it to Acrobat X. 3.1.0 update.

    Acrobat X (3.1.0) PDFMaker supports 64-bit Office 2010.
