• Cannot install KB982331 KB981715 & KB982312 "the expected version of the product is not found on the system.

  I have the Compatibility Pack installed so that I can open .docx files of type 2007 etc.  Apparently the updates of Windows 'think' I have Office 2007 if updates following KB982331, KB981715 and KB982312 are queued to be installed, but they are unable to install it because I have not Office 2007 is installed.

  I get an error correctly indicating that "the expected version of the product is not found on the system.  So they will never install successfully but Windows Update won't jump that updates are not necessary.

  Does anyone know how to remove these updates to install?

  Support of Microsoft's solution was to uninstall the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack.   I chose to ignore the updates and keep the ability to view Office 2007 extensions.

  In addition, contact the support does not count as a solution, especially when the problem is not resolved by the project "fix."

  If the drive of a Dell computer with the same edition of the OS, then you can use the disc - I think that each of them will have the same key as the one that is currently installed (and that on your sticker)

  Computers, which are built by large manufacturers provided with pre-installed Windows are supplied with 2 two product keys:

  (A) OEM SLP: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with Bios OEM flag only on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows key leans on the motherboard and he sees the flag proper Bios OEM (for the manufacturer and the version of Windows) and activates.

  (B) SLP COA: it's the product key that you see on the sticker on the side, bottom or (for some laptops) in the compartment of the battery from your computer.   By default in Microsoft Paint save setting is jpeg.  When you save a JPEG using paint quality is very low and it is not an option to change the quality setting.  You can change the option record under when you save your 24-bit Bitmapor PNGfiles.  Using one of these options will allow you to keep the quality of the original file, but save the file size will be much larger it would be if it was saved in jpeg format.  There isn't really anything else you can do insofar as going to save the file as a jpeg file.  you still going to lose some of the quality.  Please let us know if you have any other questions.  Thank you.   You cannot remove the feature, but you can hide this group and then use your e-mail separately, separate boxes as you wish.

  I don't mean to download an iso of Windows 7 .  Just thought I'd say that first because I know someone will receive confused.

  I look for my Windows 7 Ultimate DVD today and have not found.  I always keep all my media BONES together and it is not a small collection (30-year) is not easy to lose everything.

  To make sure that I spent the rest of my day is literally going through everything I own.  Even the prints of the kitchen.  No success yet.

  My thoughts went to a recent House move (13 Oct) when a friend helped me.  He is the only person who came in contact with one of my property because I don't have any other friends or family.  Sad, you say, but I'm okay with that.

  Stolen? -C' is something I know that this person is able to do although I have no proof.  It's with my two unused Vista Ultimate DVD and they are still in the box.  It would be strange to leave.  But who knows.

  , MS have a way to perform a check on the product key registration to determine when it has been registered?  I'd be happy to pay for such a service.  I have the key, just no media, what makes hard to prove that I have that right?  I'd be curious to know if the key has been registered since Oct 2013

  Essentially no, they won't tell you if the key has been used for a date. No doubt the case with key printed on it was "lost". If a retail pack there is nothing stop directly be reused on another system, and it is essentially that the pack's evidence to be able to use the software.

  Your only option would be to report it as a flight.

• How to connect my pc to the dvd recorder to project on my TV?

  I have a Toshiba laptop with Win7 installed and I would like to connect it to my TV. The thing is that my TV (flat screen Philips crt) does not have a HDMI connection, but it is connected to my recorder DVD (Sony), which has a HDMI connection port. What I would like to make, and I tried to do, is to connect with the PC on the DVD and then project HDMI cable to my TV. Of course, my TV is set to 'See' the DVD to the right path. Usually, I do the same thing when I connect my camcorder to the DVD project my recordings on the TV screen, but it does not work with the HDMI connection.

  Does anyone have suggestions, ideas?
