  Works of "... aaa authorization commands. "only on the commands in exec mode. Once you're in config mode, this authorization has no effect and the user will be able to do anything.

  Add the following command to activate also the authorization for the config mode commands:

  AAA authorization config-commands

  and you should be good to go.

  I google and Im get lots of how-to creation script alogin which is fine, but it is not exactly what I'm looking for.

  My question is, after a successful login, how does use of user credentials to access the other parts of the application in flex?

  Lets try an example: dating site.

  User, with successful logon quickly gets access to others or the pages. Most these days dating sites use PHP and probably using 'sessions' to control the authentication of the user throughout the websit.

  question I guess is, I have to create the whole application in an application may be using view state control access) or can I create several application and use authentication contorl full page access?

  There are many ways to architect this in your application, but one thing that might be common to several of these options is to have the notion of roles assigned to users.

  If you have information about your users in a database, and each user has one or more of the roles assigned to them.

  According to user roles, you can allow access to different areas of your application based on roles.

  So now you need to decide how your application to allow access by the role of the architect.

  Don't use States to do this, better use ViewStack and if there are multiple views in your application, that uses many typical user will not need to see, modules to reduce the size of the original SWF file.

  Otherwise, this could be the standard BlackBerry screen "Firewall/Permissions" checking connection.

  There is a checkbox "ask once" at the bottom of the dialog box asking the question?  Try to check that.

  If it is the Application of permissions, then you have a range of options including:

  (a) that the user addresses and use the option "ask once"

  option (b) use the "Set Permissions" to download time during the installation of Over The Air

  (c) set the permissions of Applications via the BES for this application (assuming that you are pushing it the BES)

  (d) set the permissions on the device - Options--> Advanced--> Applications--> change permissions

  (e) programmatically in your Application

  You can control the schedule on these applications update - even turn off checks altogether.

  Once your stable printing software / installed, you don't need raises unless you like around.

  The software is from one of the few locations of remote server - the errror is probably a mistake to match missed server.  If the error condition is traceable to your side, the evidence may be in your Event Viewer logs.

Before you start a connection, it's a good idea to search the name of the computer you are connecting to and to make sure that Remote Desktop connections are allowed through the firewall.

• Problems with 9000 device establishing a socket connection?

  Edit again: still a problem, see Update 2 to end...

  My app works fine on 4.3 & 4.5, device and Simulator. Also works very well in the 4.6 Simulator. However, on the bold new we just acquired today, I can't do the blackberry establish a socket connection. As far as I can tell a call to Connector.open which has the form:

  .. will never return! I set breakpoints after him in the file and I get nothing. There is no sign of a connection through to the other end. I put a breakpoint on the line with Connector.open so I know is to be worn, but if I click on 'no more' control is never returned to the jde debugger.

  I realize in Application 4.6 permissions have been moved around, but I've set manually the application has permission to connect to the internet.   How long did you wait for an exception?  It must expire after 2 minutes if it is unable to connect.  Which way you make the connection?  You use the deviceside parameter?

  The BlackBerry has been activated on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server?  You have completed the information under Options, Advanced Options, TCP APN?  The BlackBerry shows 3G on the home screen (capital G)?
