• 8600 pro cannot print wireless with Mac OSX 10.7.4

  I just the HP OffiveJet 8600 Pro and installed fine, but just will not print using wifi.

  Printer detect the wifi network and connects fine using WEP and remains connected.

  Software installed on Mac.  Had a little trouble finding the printer to start with (had to connect via the USB port), but finally managed to add a printer in system preferences. Have the box "Share this printer on the network" checked.

  When I try and print a doc I can choose the 8600 (marked with a green dot, ready). The print queue window opens showing 'search printer', then 'the printer is not connected.

  Prints fine when connected via USB.

  Installation program:

  Apple MacBook Pro, OS 10.7.4

  Router: D-Link DSL 2640 R

  Wireless security: WEP

  Anyone know what is happening? It should be much easier than that

• Premium 8600 Pro Office jet: Officejet pro 8600 not found by computers on the wireless network

  Hi all!

  I had this problem and goes out at least once a year...

  When I go to print on any computer through wireless connections, computers can't find the printer.  The printer is turned on and connected to the network, and network results show that everything is fine.  I did everything, including restarting the printer, by restarting the computer tries to print the form and reinstall the printer, and I get the message "Printer" not logged on computers.  Each moon blue, if I leave it long enough, he will find somehow the printer and printing, but as I said it's extremely rare.

  Logistics-wise, I am using Comcast for cable internet, and are all Apple products.  The modem is a Motorola and the router is a Linksys.  The router is less than 25 feet from the printer, and there is a clear shot-not walls or to block the signal

  I see that you experience the Mac-to-printer communication problems. I want to help you with this. I have some suggestions that might help.

  I recommend you try the following steps:

  • Uninstall your printer - click here for instructions.
  • Fix permissions of the disc on your Mac - click here for instructions.
  • Once you have finished running the utility above, restart your computer.
  • Finally, click here to reinstall your printer using HP Easy Start.

  If you find the connection of the printer is more coherent then fine. If this is not the case, click here for detailed instructions on how to address the issue. In particular, it may be useful to clarify the matter once and for all from affecting a static IP address. Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.

  I have recently switched to an Imac OS X Yosemite running on a windows computer.

  I installed the software disc supplied with the printer for OSX 10.6 mountain lLon, which has been updated automatically during the installation. The problem is the printer will print only in black & white and lists the printer as a generic laser printer.

  should I uninstall the current software and reinstall a version of zero software.

  I think there could be some problems with the drivers as you said that I suggest to uninstall the software completely and install the drivers from the link below.

• HP 8600 Pro Premium: 8600 Pro Premium connected to the cable network shows as not connected on the list of devices

  My printer/Premium Pro 8600 is wire connected to my network and works very well (exception below) but shows as not connected on the list of devices on my desktop computer Win 10.  What gives?  Private network.

  I also can not connect to my laptop which is connected wireless to the network.

• RESET COMPLETE HP 8600 PRO PREMIUM

  I spent 3 weeks trying to figure this on my own bc that my Bishop case lewis has no idea. Only to keep telling me I can't do that I can't do that he also told me today there is absolutely nothing else that can be done to help me. Then the tech level 3 Frances tells me that he doesn't know how to do this and it is positive Kael'thas 100% all staff knows not how to do a full complete hard mfg restore the original. I have such a hard time believing that. I said ' really? draw it knows how to do this? "It is a hp product.  who can I get this info later? what I'm trying to accomplish is to be able to use the rest of my Set - up cartridges that I have. I have 4 full nine sets of xl and 2 blk xl. I have been using their right along, as we're exhausted, I remove the old cartridge from Set up and replace it with a new cartridge of set-up. Now what is interesting, is that I took the old game set in a new blk xl, I thought I can't use cartridges of set-up. OK I take the new set in the old game that is not the original game it is without doubt the 3rd.  It ends and the system gives me no errors except that it is empty and of course I can't use it. Take it out to put in the new. get the same error.  Ugh! so it goes... Never have I had a problem, until this last update. So, I want to be able to do is somehow get around the chips on the cartridges, is it possible? or do a complete reset of quenching hard on the printer, is possible? Ive tried to do a partial/full reset which does not work in which the issue of the cartridge some how it I still with little memory. I tried what hp calls a full reset by turning off the unit, unplug the unit two at the back of the unit and the wall. wait 15 seconds and plug back in. not sure it means, but it is not the full reset (not even a partial reset).  So, if anyone has any ideas on how to do this correctly please let me know. I saw something now the # and 9 at the same time and disconnect, it's impossible to do with this machine, because it is a touch screen and you have no buttons to the touch. with a touch screen one touch you one that allows time. You can of course touch 2 at a time, but the system won't recognize 1 being affected both. If this option is unnecessary. Yes, there is the evidence to go out and buy ink, but I have so many perfectly good ink cartridges that are still good, under warranty until the end of this year. I hv been customer hp for nearly 35 years. But btwn this and another question, they push me to very quickly. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I really need to get this work.   Hi there are owners of HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.

  To access the Help menu, there is no need to turn the printer off and on again.  To find the back/back arrow, press the right arrow on the right side of the touch screen.  This will show the arrow back/back (like an arrow to the left).  Must go back to the home menu, this back/back arrow is no longer visible.  Slkowly just press the place where the back/back arrow showed 4 times.  You should now be able to see the Help menu.

  Attention, factory full reset seems to require a new set of cartridges of configuration of the printer to work again.  If this isn't the case, please let me know how to bypass the configuration screens.

  I bought a HP OfficeJet Pro 6830, and I can't understand how to scan documents from the printer to my computer in PDF format. It analyzes only in JPEG format.

  The documentation I found online says that the PDF option should be present on the touch screen, but are the only options on my printer to scan to the computer, fax scan, scan to e-mail, etc..

  I have 10 windows and a new HP laptop.

  The disc that came with the printer may or may not have the support to win 10 OS as the priter was launched before Win 10 is available - where the download URL would be a safer way to get the WIn 10 OS feature MANY software.

  We recommend that you download (save on the hard drive) rather than installing in online it.

  After you install the FULL features software, you will be able to scan in PDF format.

  On our old Lexmark printer, we were able to implement "smart solutions" for common tasks. For example, some set choice of values for common jobs: b scan single color in the face of the electronic mail address (b) X the CSAA n & b front e-mail address Y (c) color duplex scan to e-mail address Z.

  I finally found instructions on how to create shortcuts of the printer (the sur-imprimante those who appear via the shortcut icon on the screen of the printer) online.  But what as shown, by clicking on an icon doesn't give not any feedback to create a shortcut. No shortcut has been created.

  It seems that we can manually configure the simple options faced/double-faced and color and black-and-white in the button 'settings' by job. Is it possible to store these common parameters for a shortcut on the printer?

  I see that you are looking to create presets on your Officejet 8740 e-all-in-one printer. The printer would have all of the features similar to what you describe.

  I can't find where I can change the color for printing properties (clear/more darker / color tone/heater cooler).  Properties now only give me two tabs - layout and the quality of the paper and advanced does not change either color.  I use this app all the time on the L7590-how can I access it on this new printer?

  It seems that you will be a bit limited compared to your other printer laser jet with regard to changing these options. I could see the L7500 software so I can't see what you were talking about.

  The options you'll have will be in solutions Center for the 8600 settings. You will need to go to the Actions of the printer tab then set preferences. There you will have some options but still not as much as you had on the L7500.

  Print these pictures of what program?

  What is your operating system on your computer? Windows or Mac?

  The crucial step in the printing of the pictures change print settings within the program you are printing from. Please follow this HP document on change of the size of the Type and Source parameters by default, paper. (It is only for a Windows computer).
