Module E10 Lead Scoring

Hello

Is there some average filtering lead E10 rating is on the database level or external calls? More precisely:

(1) score only a part of the database with the model E10

or

(2) use a criterion on the external call to filter records are updated with scores SFDC integration

Thanks for all the help,

Daniel

Assuming that your external call is taken from a program - you can still filter on which contacts (on the score of the head) or another database field you want to update in the CRM

  • How is measured the activity "no email" in the E10 Lead Scoring module?

I'll put up the section of the commitment of a new track marking the model, and I want to give higher percentages of 20 son as increases the number of emails they open.

For example, if a cable is sent five e-mails in Q1:

    • give 100% of available partition if they opened everything at least 3 times

    Opened Email.png

Question: if I touch the rules by the foregoing, will be the price of the model 100% of the score available if lead opens at least three emails sent at least once? Alternatively, the model will only offer 100% partition if lead open one of the e-mail sent at least three times?

I understand how the function if I chose "specific E-mail"instead of "any E-mail"; then points would be awarded only if the actual email is opened a number of times.

But is it possible to open that by selecting "any E-mail" and higher drive for conduit scores open more emails sent during a period of time, regardless of the number of times any one specific e-mail is open?

I'm sure it will give him 100% if it opens any email three times. This could be the same email three times or 3 different mails once.

  • Lead scoring model - when it is updated?

(Basically), I wonder how much time is the main model of rating?

For example, if I update the model rules (or thresholds) - should I expect to see the scores change immediately / soon / next day?

Or, if the model remains the same, but something made contact that should affect their score (for example, a click on an email), the speed at which should change their score?

(and a related issue: fact lead scoring Dashboard update to the same?)

It would be useful to know what is waiting, so that I can know how best to use.

    Thank you

    Charlie

@charlie I know the new scoring track model re-scores all daily records (i.e. every 24 hours), but I'm ccing astanbridge on this thread if it can give you accurate information.  I would recommend also join the group E10 lead scoring so you can stay up to date on all the latest articles about the new rating model drive.

    Hope this has been helpful,

  • Lead Scoring - with retroactive effect?

Lead scoring retroactively will inform a contact? If a contact in the database already fills some elements of a new scoring model will get in touch with the update or is marked exclusive to new contacts?

PS - still a newbie, my apologies for asking a question that may already be answered.

    Hi Joshua,.

When an advance of rating module is activated, the entire system will be updated.

If you use a notation program, only the contacts that cross will be updated.

  • Is eloqua offers centralized lead scoring?

Is eloqua offers centralized lead scoring?

    Hey Sanny,.

Yes, Eloqua provide centralized lead scoring... If the lead rating model have already been created then you can see the path that follows below:

Contact > find contact > Double click on Contact > click on marking

Here you can see all the models and Score.

  • Maximum number of models lead scoring

    Hello

Is there a maximum number of LS models that we can use?

We have models of LS campaign and I was wondering if this can create problems anyway.

    Thank you very much

    Factors that can affect performance:

    1. Size of the database (like the database, the slower the potential performance)
    2. Complexity of the Score profile drive or Engagement criteria and parameters (avoid using all wildcards (*) because this can affect performance)
    3. Number of Lead Scoring models (lead most score models, the slowdown of the potential performance; it is recommended that no more than 3 models are enabled at any time)

For example, there may be major performance problems if there are 20 profile and 20 criteria for commitment to a model unique especially if you have a database is greater than 1 million contacts. However, maybe this isn't the case for a smaller size 10K database. The recommended technique even applies for the number of active lead score models - size of the database and the complexity of the criteria and parameters can affect performance.

  • He's a lead scoring against a website built in WordPress?

I have problems with lead scoring because of how Eloqua and County of WordPress tags of the page.  Because any tag in WordPress is considered to be a page in Eloqua, I hit my limit of 500 tag very quickly.  Suggestions for a workaround? page

    Marilyn,

Is the site in question, cincom.com?  I think this might be a question of translation of WP--> Eloqua.  By this I mean that Wordpress tags are not necessarily direct equivalent of Eloqua labels.  Tags of WordPress at the base are used for referencing, as part of the URL rewrite process and organization of the site.  This might not exactly equate with Eloqua tags.  What I fear is happening from your description, you're too weak of a pellet level and so you are run out of tags.  Your rating model of lead as granular as your page is marking, with many smaller models score?

Most of the time when I worked with the rating, tags, and categories tend to be much wider WP tagging would be and used only to group as the content for rating rather than trying to match the granular level of markup for the page.

If you wish to discuss the details of your specific case, it would be preferable for you to send examples of what you have now and what you want from labelling in relation notation, even if it's only a small part to get you moving in a direction that would eliminate this problem.

  • Creation of lead in using eloqua lead scoring program

    Hi all

I did some major programs before scoring, but never made integration with SFDC, so my questions can be really stupid, please bear with me on this

We have a lead score and lead program stimulating. Our lead scoring program updates the standard Eloqua (lead score, lead rate fields) fields.

    My questions are

    1. I need to create fields for score of lead and scoring in SFDC and synchronize?
    2. Eloqua automatically create/update an advance for a contact when it hits the site / sends a form?
    3. I want to send only hot prospects and hot leads to sales, how do I achieve it?
    4. How can I assign a new track to a seller?
    5. I have to specify a due date for the hot wire in Eloqua in a separate field and synchronize that by dint of sale? (All the hot wires must be contacted within 24 hours?)

    Thanks for your help.

    Kind regards

    Rama

    Hi Arnaud

    (1) is not necessary. If you want, you can, but there is no requirement. The only requirements from default to create a leader in SFDC are the last name and company. All other fields are optional in a standard installation. This may be different for your instance of SFDC. That said, I recommend you to create these fields as they shed a lot of value to people outside of commercialization (including sale).

    (2) it is possible, but not by default. You can run the integration rules in your form, or you can add calls create lead to an internal event. I would not recommend this because you will be generally overwhelmed with cords honor.

    (3) you can do this making sure son pass through your lead scoring program before being pushed to update CRM program. You can use a decision rule to filter any person who does not meet your criteria of rating of which is considered to be a leader 'in hot.

    (4) you would use in SFDC assignment rules to achieve this. You cannot trigger attribution rules SPECIFIC with Eloqua, only the default allocation rule. However, you can have your specific attribution rules configured to search for specific data from Eloqua, as a salesman, or the owner or something like that.

    (5) you can, but this is not necessary. Really, any system you build around that is running on the wires of hot in SFDC should really be built in SFDC, using a combination of trigger rules and Workflow. Trying to 'too' on the Eloqua side leads generally to a system that is unbearable and not easily editable. For something such as CRM integration, you want to do this either fluid as possible, because most peoples requirements change often (it of to say, sales don't like the quality of the leads (refine the scoring criteria), they want to see threads with X type activities, X seller should get is more driven, etc.). Ensure that you use the functions of each system causes the process more bearable and editable, which means generally on a 50/50 sharing of what happens in Eloqua and what is happening in SFDC.

If you are not familiar with the integration in Eloqua area, I highly recommend indulging with Eloqua Professional Services, or with one of our partner organizations, or even hire a consultant who knows very well the process (best to ask your account manager for references If you follow this path!). Integration is one of the most difficult concepts in Eloqua, and it's really one of the things thing that really pays dividends to have implemented correctly from the beginning. An incorrect configuration of the integration of CRM can really destroy the integrity of the data of your Eloqua database and your CRM system.

  • Can you have several lead scoring the workflow based on the type of contact Eloqua?

Hello!  We are preparing to implement Eloqua 10 and I'm working on lead scoring workbook.  I wonder if you can have different lead scoring evoluted based on the type of contact Eloqua?  My company serves four distinct markets and was hoping that lead workflow notation might be different based on what kind of contact I connect to the.

    Thank you!

    Hi Lucie,.

Yes you can, I would say at the outset you do not add too many criteria, but rather seek to constantly refine and edit your program (s) that you were going to.

  • Outdoor activities and lead scoring.

    Hello world

I do this business for everyone including new activities outside on Topliners! I'll clarify that everyone can understand the difficult facets one might face when it comes to outdoor activities in combination with lead scoring for the first time. Not that we have solved this problem already, this is why I thought it would be a good idea to make this issue.

Me and the team that I'm currently working are currently experiencing challenges with trying to properly configure the trial creditrice then it could possibly make lead scored.

Eloqua support described in a post for us that we should forget the name and only add the rule response that contains the type of assets and activity of the asset. So not the name.

We have taken this to heart and made the following:

1: make an outdoor activity: (see image below).

For eloqua topliners External activities 1.png

2: make a response rule: (see image below)

For eloqua topliners External activities 2.png

3: a campaign named external activities Test ABCD. He has given a statement of anger and saved a campaign called ID: ABCD.

    4. a score of model lead (see image below).

For eloqua topliners External activities 3.png

5 lead Activated marking the campaign model and enabled.

6 added a testfile directly in the above mentioned campaign: it looked like this: (see image below).

For eloqua topliners External activities 4.png

    7. wait: Just... nothing happened...

If you (my Topliners family & friends) can be so good as to see plan we executed and to see if we have acted wrongly in a little business, it would be greatly appreciated!

    Kind regards

  • In market just lead Scoring - how to send values to Salesforce?

    Hello

I just activated our first scoring driving model of Eloqua, and I see that the values are now written on contacts in Eloqua. When new contacts are created and marked, this value is pushed in to our instance of Salesforce integrated on the ground of "driving the Score." But we have tens of thousands of contacts with a score of now written lead which has not been pushed to Salesforce, since there is no new activity to trigger the external call. If anyone has encountered this situation before, and how did you manage to write these values in Salesforce records?

I also held intends to do an export of Eloqua in the field of our contacts and then import for Salesforce to get around that, but that feels like a ugly way to do this... But a possible backup option.

All tips are very much appreciated! We are on the E10 and Salesforce Enterprise Edition, if that matters.

bwhalley you can grow one once files with the update CRM program - just create a filter shared using SFDC lead ID is not empty or SFDC Contact ID is not empty and then go to the Builder program and open the SFDC updated program and add members, and then select the shared filter that you just created and it will push all your existing SFDC leads & contacts in SFDC w/the Score to drive.

    Hope that helps!

    Leigh

  • If our lead scoring model uses a date field, what happens if a contact has a later date in this area?

Our model way of notation uses a field of date for one of its criteria. In the event that the date field is populated with a date in the future (as the rating is based on recency) how the lead rating model would deal with it? For more information, the current lead score measures the date as a "in the last (period of time).

In the last x period will always look like in time in the past, so in the case that a contact does not meet the specified criteria, they will not get marked with this particular rule.

  • What rules of campaign on scoring lead response?

What rules of campaign on scoring lead response?

    Hi Marilyn, there.

Rules of campaign response as you know, governing what types of activities are considered as valuable enough to trigger a creation of campaign members.

This in turn, can be related directly to lead the rating according to your measure of business impact based on the answer (whether web response or manual download).

For example, you can use the filter of contact activity based looking for someone that has triggered a campaign over the last 30 days response.  This does 2 things: output any notable responses and considers the recency of the event.  This of course can be used for the implicit part of lead scoring according to your needs.

  • How will update a CRM contact lead score?

    Hello

How to update a CRM contact lead score?

    Thank you

    Rahul

    Hi Rahul

    You have 2 options:

Option 1 - trigger an update to the fields of lead scoring in CRM only when the client sends a form or download a list. With the new notation lead contacts get a score a few seconds and could go directly to the CRM.

Option 2 - trigger an update based on the above criteria, but also the criteria for commitment. This would require a separate program to update the lead by scoring the CRM fields based on criteria for commitment.
