Mointoring v$ asm by ordinary user views

Hello, I would like to use "dummy" ordinary user to get a statistic of views v$ asm for our monitoring software. For example, I try to make:

Grant select on v$ _asm_diskgroup_stat monitoring

But it didn't help, when I try to run select query by this user, I always got an error:

ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

The following will not work:

Select * from v_$ asm_diskgroup_stat;

Will be as follows:

Select * from sys.v_$ asm_diskgroup_stat;

Select * from v$ asm_diskgroup_stat;

The public synonym is called v$ asm_diskgroup_stat, so you must add the table name with the owner or to use the public synonym.

  • Is Foglight 5.6.2 - possible to create a single user view...

    I had a glance through the documentation and am yet to find any specific details on how I can create a foglight user to meet the following criteria: -.

    one) can connect to foglight

    (b) can view dashboards specific only - aligned specific cartridges

    (c) can view the alert details for the points on the scorecards to which access is granted

    Basically, we have a few dashboard aligned to a geographic area and the BONE. I need to give access to these dashboards where the person can see only these dashboards. However once they see the dashboard level, if there is an alert shown on this dashboard, the person must be able to view the details of this alert.

    I'd appreciate really any guidance you can provide on this one.  Thanks in advance for your time.

    The problem is related to the discussions around the architecture shared on the community site.

    The following requires a clear understanding of how things work within Foglight.  It's development work, not something you do casually.

    It is possible to create a custom group with roles with access to specific dashboards, with customized any forest docking versions (for example, exploration for alerts), give a specific dashboards allowed the role and then allow specific users are members of a group that has just rights for which enabled the role.

    Allowing access to only certain data in the dashboard is more interesting, according to the ease with which data can be separated using queries.  For example, how are you going to determine the geographic region for data?  If you are lucky enough to be able to distinguish the geographical region, for example, filtering against a hostname with a regular expression, or something similar, then you'll have a chance.

    I would like to at least talk to Professional Services about this before trying it yourself.  Or, you can wait for multi-tenant happen in a future release of Foglight.  He is rumored to be on the road map.

  • Migrate local user view Persona profile

    With the help of VMware view Horizon 5.3. I have an old persistent VM that the user has a local profile (software developer w / Visual Studio etc) I want to change to use Persona as everybody in our environment. But I don't want to lose its settings (AppData such as Outlook, VS, Adobe Acrobat, etc.).  I don't want to have to re-register/activate a bunch of its software and other things. Is there an easy way to do this?

    So I just moved the computer in AD to the OU with view Persona GPO active and has the user logon. He converted his roaming profile.

  • View UDF is in the user view form OIM11gR2

    Hello
    I've created some UDF in my user form, I added these UDF labels using Customize option on the UserForm from view. But I see not the values of database actually come on the form,
    I've referenced the section below:
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E27559_01/Relnotes.1112/e35820/id_mgr.htm#i1092308
    Article: 10.2.75

    But I can't find any property: value change listener.
    I do these changes have on display the form add a text like: output w/label

    It's the entrance to the udf I see in the jsff.xml file in my exported sandbox:

    * < af:panelLabelAndMessage xmlns:af = "http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich" label = "#{bindings." PERSON_TYPE__c.hints.label}"id ="dtrt_dc_3885726088"> *.
    * < af:outputText xmlns:af = "http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich" value = "#{bindings." PERSON_TYPE__c.inputValue} "/ > *"
    * < / af:panelLabelAndMessage > *.

    Please share any ideas if someone worked on it. It would be a GRT help!
    Thank you.

    To add a UDF on display user form, you see the link here

  • Follow-up of realization if users view the slide at the end

    When I publish a course and put it on scorm cloud, methinks. I can jump through a course with the next button and it will tell me that the course is complete, even if I only looked at a value of 1/2 second of content on each slide. Looking through the form I found references to people who say the user should observe a slide at the end so he can sign up too full? I'm doing something wrong? Is there a particular switch that I need to go back to follow the real end?

    Earlier versions of Captivate only marked an once read as complete slide to the very last frame.  More recent versions of the app mark slide as read once entered.

  • Remove menu IOM for an ordinary user (IOM 11 GR 2) options

    Hello

    We have a default installation of IOM 11 GR 2. We have created a regular user and it can connect to "Self Service"identity.
    By default, the user gets access to the following categories: 'My profile', the 'Requests' and 'Administration '.

    How can we remove the category "Administration" (users, roles etc.) of a user by default?
    The ideal situation would be if we could assign the user an Admin role, if we want him to do the administrative work.

    Kind regards

    Henrik

    You must implement security policies (authorization in OIM11GR1 policy) using the APM console console OES. Install OES component as well when installing the IOM and the RCU. You get this option in the list of components when installing IOM. See here:
    IOM 11 GR 2 - where is the OES Console?

  • Event trigger once the user view article

    Hi guys,.

    Nobody knows what kind of Javascript event handlers are supported on simple editing of DPS?

    For example, $(window) .focus () or window.focus (), doesn't seem to work in the DPS application even if it works in the web browser.

    Basically, I want to raise an event when the user displays an article. For now, events in the following article are fires in advance due to prefetching of pages. Is there a way to do it, while keeping the content Web overlay - Auto Play function is active?

    Thank you very much!

  • Can users view content produced by Adobe DPS on Desktop (MAC/PC)

    I'm new in the Adobe DPS product range and I was wondering if someone could clarify if the DPS product range can produce content that can be published for display on mobile devices (Android, iPad, playbook), as well as desktop (MAC and PC)

    Not really. We have no office viewers for OSX or Windows allow consumers to buy and read the content of the DPS. We have a tool to preview office for production work and the web viewer for items shared via social sharing.

  • iCloud, sharing photos for Non - iOS users

    So, I use iCloud for about two years now, and it does for the most part, what I want and need to. However, whenever my family and I go camping during the weekend, take a vacation or just to Barbecue a Sunday afternoon, we have a ton of photos on a large number of devices. For the wife and children, this isn't a problem since we have all of the iPhones and use iCloud. But, it seems that we are facing a problem whenever someone on an Android phone has a few pictures they want help or like to download some pictures that we have added.

    Y at - it an easy way for non - iOS users view and/or edit albums shared iCloud without going through a several-step process (transfer of office, download third party app, etc..)? It is my understanding that an Android user should be able to display/change via a web browser, but don't seems to work. I looked at other cloud services and apps, and major issues, in that I continue to run are:

    1: having to pay another Cloud Computing service, when I already pay for iCloud is not economic.

    2: I find a lot of the photo-sharing applications and services give a lot of storage, but at a cost to the quality of the photos. My wife and her friends are always doing something creative with your impressions so even some 'high quality' compression can degrade enough make it unusable.

    3: I have a hard time to ask someone to download an application, not to mention of asking them to pay for one. Nor am I comfortable someone jump through hoops, just so that I can watch through a batch of photos in the hope of finding one or two which are useful.

    So, is there an easy way to do it, or I'm stuck or wait for Apple to understand a feature like this would be useful or leave iCloud for a solution amicably more cross-platform? I do not understand that Apple needs to focus on the development and support of applications and services for its ecosystem and customer, but would it not make sense to make it convenient for outside users to have a great experience too?

    I don't know what problems you encountered but the sharing Web site works fine for me.

  • Prevent users to restore it to factory settings

    I was wondering if it is possible. At the moment no matter what standard user with a legitimate password is able to press F8 when windows is loaded, enter repair and restore default computer. Is it possible to prevent ordinary users to do?

    @arachnologist,

    It is not really an official way to avoid a full recovery of the system is carried out.  By resetting the system to factory default, I assume that you are referring to the F11 system recovery provided by HP which would amount to one out of the condition of the box.

    Because this process occurs outside of Windows, set permissions or changes within windows itself will not prevent this.  However, you could do that you have to work the recovery disc for the unit and then remove the recovery partition.  Deleting the recovery partition would eliminate the easy way to restore the default unit for the recovery partition (where the factory reset retrieves the files from) will be missing.  However, this is how a user can reinstall Windows if something goes wrong, and this is why I recommend to have on hand recovery disks somewhere safe.

    Alternatively, you can also define a power on password for the unit.  A power on password is set in the BIOS under the security heading.  With a power on password, only one person knowing this password might even get beyond the screen of the BIOS to reset the system or start any device (CD, USB, HARD drive, etc.).  Be sure to remember this password as you would for any other password.  Remember that this is not without its risks.  For example, a forgotten password power can be difficult to overcome.  Due course and according to the device (laptop, desktop computer, business unit), it may be not so easy or cheap to clear a forgotten password market.

    The solution with the least risk, in my opinion, would be to remove the recovery partition.  This document explains how to do this.

  • Different professional in Windows XP user accounts

    In Windows XP Professional, what is the logic behind allowing holders of 'Power Users' accounts (except, well sure, administrators) to run some Legacy Applications while people with accounts accounts & comments ordinary user can not run the same?

    What are the typical work scenarios where:

    (1) should only have built in Administrator account
    (2) the need to create user accounts administrator & Power
    (3) the need to create the user accounts for plain a lot (maybe except the administrator account)
    (4) to activate the guest account?

    'Administrators', 'Power Users' and 'Users' are nothing more than the groups that individual users can become members.  By default, each of these groups is given certain privileges.  'Users' have the least privileges, "Power Users" have more privilege, and "Administrators" have the highest privileges.   'Guest' is simply a user specialized controlling less than any other user.  There is also the built-in "Administrator" user cannot be deleted, which by default is a member of the "Administrators" group

    A person who needs to use programs like Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer pre-installed would probably just privilege 'user '.  Power users can change some system settings that can not users and administrators can change the privileges to access the file and add/remove other users on the computer but also install applications.

    A set of privileges is predefined in Windows, but can be changed by an administrator.  Read the following article for a description of which users have what default rights:

    "User rights".

  • How can I move/copy data between desktop Vista user?

    Hello

    My home computer has 3 users, 2 personnel and an administrative one system.  [How] can I copy or move files between desktop ordinary user without login again as a system administrator? As a regular user, that I can't even see the jobs of the other user.

    Thank you.

    I think I've cracked it.  I had to abandon my personal account admin rights and of course a password to protect these rights.

  • Control Panel - you cannot change user access privileges

    Today visited a customer who was a profile error at startup of Windows 7 (Home Premium).

    After a lot of unexpected problems, I found that the built-in Administrator account seemed to be missing (!) but I was able to create a user base at the command prompt, by using "net use XXX / add". Tried to add this user to the Administrators group, but it does not (unfortunately, with no error message).

    When I started, I could open the Control Panel, but when I tried to change the new user (for an admin), I was invited for an admin password, but the following option to change the user's privileges did NOT appear. Using the basic account for access to the regedit failed (as you know), but he confirmed that there are a couple of profiles on the machine, which has fewer values than the other.

    The cat of the user, it turns out that the PC was a buying opportunity, and he had also been in the hands of another, who had attempted a repair (after a failed upgrade). The user doesn't have to believe that the PC had been through Windows updates in the recent past.

    Thus, the result is that there are now 2 user ID Windows on the PC, a (Administrator) who gets an error in profile and a second (standard user) that allows to perform basic operations.

    I don't check the 'Guest' Windows built-in account, but I'm sure that (from what I've seen in a few hours) that someone in the past had just set a "standard" on the box and then eventually renamed account built-in "Administrator" as the user name.

    I don't like leaving my clients with no answered questions weigh on their PC, but this one has me relatively perplexed.

    My questions are:

    -is it possible to rename (or otherwise damage) on behalf of the default Windows administrator?

    -which might explain why the control panel will not allow you to change the type of the user?

    -If the account are accessible on the PC with administrator privileges has become corrupt, is the only viable solution to proceed to re - install Windows?

    Thanks in advance...!

    -is it possible to rename (or otherwise damage) on behalf of the default Windows administrator?

    -> Why would you damage the default admin account?

    -> Rename an account is superficial. You give only the existing account, a nickname, but the name remains behind.

    -which might explain why the control panel will not allow you to change the type of the user?

    -> With the help of an ordinary user plans to promote some administrator-level accounts is against the principles of security. This would make the concept of "account administrator" without value. You need to be logged under an administrator account to perform administrative actions.

    -If the account are accessible on the PC with administrator privileges has become corrupt, is the only viable solution to proceed to re - install Windows?

    -> With a used PC, the only viable option is to perform a destructive factory restore to make the machine 'as new '. It would be dangerous to use the PC in its current state. There could be more that a dog has fleas or virus it could be hacked that will create an interesting situation when the user deals with sensitive information (Internet banking, personal correspondence).

  • How can a non administrator user to do certain privileged tasks

    BS "D."

    Hello
    I have a question to administration of Windows 7. (I have some experience UNIX admin, but am a novice to Windows).
    I want to allow a non administrator user to do 2 of the following tasks:
    1. Installation/update software. Example: upgrade Adobe Acrobat Reader.
    2. Start/stop services. Example: MySQL is configured to be a service that is started manually. The user must be able to start and stop it at will.
    I am running Windows 7 Home Premium. I consider the upgrade to Pro if that would help.
    Thanks in advance!
    -Avigdor

    In Windows 7, you cannot grant special privileges to ordinary accounts. This applies to all flavors of Windows 7.

    1. Installation/update software. Example: upgrade Adobe Acrobat Reader.
      AFAIR ordinary users are allowed to give the go-ahead for the Acrobat upgrades.
    2. Start/stop services. Example: MySQL is configured to be a service that is started manually. The user must be able to start and stop it at will.
      You will need to do so indirectly via a scheduled task. The task runs under the system account. It start or stop a service using a semaphore file that is created by the user verification.
