Monitor to 'Break '.

In LabVIEW, we monitor VI termination we use to watch the sequence being completed.

I've been poking through the properties and methods to see if there is a similar way to watch for a "Pause" command in the order and so far can't seem to find a.

One does not exist, or should I just create my own?

Execution.GetStates

You should be able to get the context of the sequence.

The ExecutionRunStates enum will provide you with the correct information.

Unfortunately, there is not a VI to do this already.

Hi I am a pianist and conductor. When I play or use my arms, the activity app records these movements and steps. • HP Pavilion a6600f desktop PC communicates only with the monitor

Our bureau a6600f HP Pavilion PC (with OS 64 - bit Windows Vista) has stopped communicating with his monitor.

The start process seems to work for 7-8 seconds before stopping.  We can hear the fans and CD unit turn during this period.  There is no warning beeps.

We went from monitors to exclude a monitor problem. Both have two monitors, that we have given to the case put off until the boot process - which may indicate no comments received.

We tried to reset the BIOS blindly in accordance with the instructions provided for elsewhere in this forum.  We also tried to boot from a CD without success.  Please notify.

Once the boot sequence was not even initializing, I realized, I discovered the solution.  A simple search online for 'black screen' and 'no boot' leads to results multiple problems related to the integrated NVIDIA gpu chip.

The chip is apparently subject to overheating to the point where its connective solder may melt and break its link with the motherboard.  This issue mainly comes in laptops because of the sealed enclosure, but it has been reported also occur in models of office such as ours.

This broken link results in a black screen and an inability to boot into the BIOS.  Several of these instances have been diagnosed wrongly that the motherboards 'failed '.  Fortunately, there's a fix called "reinvest."   It comes down to warm up the chip gpu to the point where his welding redéroule reconnect the loose pins.

Some repair shops are fully aware of this problem and offer to repair it for about $80 at present.  Some DIY Laptop owners have also posted videos online in order to document how they have reorganized their own chips using a variety of means.

I decided to take the road of this last, warm our chip NVIDIA gpu with a heat gun using a heat shield to protect surrounding components of the motherboard.  My attempt to reflow works perfectly, so I handed in thermal sinks the gpu with some thermal paste expenses place to finish the job.

To summarize the question, our desktop HP Pavilion a6600f PC lost communication with his chip gpu NVIDIA Geforce 7100 integrated due to the chip overheat and melt its connective solder.  This broken link compromised the ability of the motherboard to initialize its startup sequence, which gives no output to the screen, resulting in a screen empty.  A new graphics card does not resolve the issue, given that the motherboard was inoperative because of the connective issue with the gpu chip built-in.  Reinvest the gpu chip has solved the problem.

  • Monitor cowards with a shaking noise

I bought a Macbook Pro 13 "retina early 2015 version (I'm still under warranty). I recently took my Macbook and noticed a loud commotion from the internal components. It was very strange that the computer has never been ignored and pretty much lives on my desk. I took the computer in the local store for the genius bar Apple take a look. Genius is far from being what they were, told me he has no spare room in the base of my laptop where all components. The source of the noise actually came from the portion of the screen of my laptop. Apparently the LCD is mounted in the housing of the display, and the so-called mine broke. I asked the monitor to be fixed because this computer is still under warranty. I was told that my case would be forwarded to the 'genius' some fantasy land located at Apple. A few days later I was told that this issue has been seen in very rare cases, and that I should not worry about damage. It is totally unacceptable that we know that shaking electronics can't break now but could certainly cause problems in the future as failure on the screen, when I'm probably out of warranty. I asked to speak with the manager who told me to take the computer back to the Apple store so he could watch personally. After back, the Manager pressed on the upper left side of the screen and tilted back the computer which reduces noise agitation. Then he preceded to tell me that the screen was in the specifications, but he would pass on my case again to the "genius". With the same results, I was told that would not be fixed under my warranty. The Manager then suggested that I buy the plan applecare for $250. I can't believe the nerve that apple has they will not solve the problem that must of course be under warranty and then suggest I have buy it there for what extended warranty plan * and giggles so they can tell me the same thing. I've never had a laptop with this problem do not even laptops of $300 that I bought an Apple for great products out there and pride but seriously have been disappointed. I will never buy another Apple product after this experience. The computer should not tremble under any circumstances. This computer costs $1500 and they used here still return product.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I try to bring a little noise on this topic if someone else knows it please reply if we meet they will have to address this problem.

    Hey there LKA1988,

Just to make you feel a little better the situation, I have two Mackbook Pro early 2015 that do the same thing. I noticed by accident one day, picking up my MBP. Did some research and found that other people have the same problems. Tested on my gf MBPr (bought on the same day as mine) and it makes the same noise. I confess that bothers me a little, but also feel better that mine is not the only one. I love my MBPr more than all other devices I've ever owned and know that these devices are very strong, judging by how I see others treat their MBP. I have just buy the AppleCare and live with the assurance that if it causes a problem, he will fix it in the title of the extended warranty. TBH, I prefer to live with the noise that many have compared to them have disassemble my new laptop.

    Good luck!

  • Network shared Variable breaks rtexe

I have a cRIO-9063 which I want to use for the control (PWM digital output for pumps signals) and measurement (temperature and voltage) of a system. In the ideal configuration the cRIO would be able to take measures and rebroadcast to a PC for monitoring and logging. The PC must be also able to change the digital output PWM on the cRIO lines. The cRIO should be able to continue to operate when the PC is not available. To do this, I use Scan interface for data acquisition and shared variables (single editor, no RT FIFO) hosted on the cRIO for network communication.

I have developed the code for the target cRIO as well as my host PC meets my criteria. However, this code only works in development mode. When I try to build and deploy a rtexe on the cRIO, it does not work. I reinforced to the back and made a simple LED flashing user vi, ensure what I create and deploy properly. Slowly adding things to this flashing vi, I discovered it's shared network variables that break the vi once it is integrated into a rtexe.

After flipping through other-related posts, I'll include the following:

-There is no object on the remote VI front panel. Simply add a variable node shared is enough to break the vi (when it is deployed).

-J' tried including my shared variable library in support of the construction directory, but what I saw there is not copied during construction or deployment. I manually copied the library to the /home/lvuser/natinst/bin/data / directory on the cRIO, then used an invoke node to deploy the cRIO variables when the software starts first. Even when you include a delay of 10 seconds after the invoke node, it did not work, just a mistake of 1043 at "the method or property is not supported in this version of LabVIEW."

    -NSV is referenced as absolute

    Some details of my configuration:

    LabVIEW 2015

    cRIO 15.0

    NOR-RIO 15.0

    Communication via ethernet, static IP

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I suspect that I forget a few minor step or detail, otherwise am poorly understand exactly how and when shared network variables are deployed.

I found shared to not be worthwhile over the years network variables.

The RT EXE is not able to use the library to deploy to deploy the shared Variables.  See Help topic: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361M-01/lvprop/app_libdeploy_library/

In general, SV are deployed once the project and they persist through reboots of the RT system.  In general, you should have a startup routine that checks the shared variables and expected for there to be without error on a node of the OAS and then move on to the rest of the program, defining the commissioning of values and check that they spread in the engine of the Variable is a typical method.

See here for more information on the deployment of a variable in an application of the RT.  http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/990508969805A7C086257619007189E7

The section deployment of Variables shared in a real-time (RT) target running Headlessly is downstairs.  Because you are connected to an HMI PC, you should be able to use the library to deploy feature of the PC code targeting the cRIO.

Usually, it's a faster, more scalable solution to replace your shared network Variables with a stream of network dedicated to the HMI and another for HMI - RT EXE commands.  You can send complex structures such as a cluster or even define the message as a cluster of enum and variant type to be able to use the Enum to convert the variant correctly according to the Enum value.

  • Break down and an object of a list/table of the index reference

TestStand using I'm trying to figure out how to break down and an object reference to a table/list of the index. My sequence is attached. I received a few tips of the 3rd developer with VB code, what should be done. I'm having a problem translating in TestStand. VB code follows the description.

I use .NET to run a 3rd party software using a sequence of imagery system and run 3rd party software tests. In TestStand, my "GetCurrentTests" approach, when an object for a specific sequence reference, returns a reference of type object ' object reference(system.collections.generic.list'1[Radiant.Imaging.TSEngine.ICommand]); expected return a list of tests in the sequence of part 3.

Next steps "GetCurrentPattern" needs to index through this list in order to get and then define and display the display model of the specific test to start the specific test. This next step class is RadiantImaging.TSEngine.ICommand (interface) and returns an object reference (radiantImaging.PatternGenerator.Patterns.Patternbase): a reference to the model.

What I'm confused about is decaying of the 'object reference(system.collections.generic.list'1[Radiant.Imaging.TSEngine.ICommand])' return value in order to provide the? indexed reference object for "Model of GetCurrent" step.

VB code is provided below for me that shows how it can be done in VB. I'm not familiar enough with TestStand, .NET and VB to break down this >

Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.

  • Breaking the sequence of new execution

I need to be able to monitor fans of controls and temperature on the object to be measured, while the I test UUT and interrupt the main sequence until the temperature returns to the bottom. I run a new run that runs the fan control in a different sequence, and I need to pause the main sequence of the sequence of fan control. I found the command Excution.Break but that only stops the current sequence. I have to get a reference to the object of the main sequence? How would I do that? Are there other options?

Supported NOR finally got back to me with this answer. It works exactly how I needed. Thought I would add this to all those looking for a solution to a similar problem.

  • simultaneous monitoring of the digital input lines when executing digital writing tasks

I'm writing a multithreaded application in C on Windows 7, using the 9.6 DAQmx API and device USB-6509. This requires that we constantly monitor several lines on the 6509 for entry, digital using the change of the device detection feature. You must also write the digital output without having to stop monitoring the input rows. It is very important that the input rows be monitored continuously for the duration of the project.

In the DAQmx manual reading, it seems that it is impossible to make a digital reading as well as a digital writing occurs, even if these tasks are performed in different threads. (The same I understand, that it is impossible to have several tasks of digital entry running simultaneously.)

It seems that it would be possible to launch the task for reading (configured with the change detection), to pause playback, start the writing task, pause the task of writing, and then re - start the task of reading. But - and this is the important part - for the duration of the writing task is running, is it possible to configure it to the task of reading will always monitor the lines, even if it's just stores the data in the buffer for these periods? The key is that the data will be lost.

    Thank you

    Danielle

Each channel is independent. If you can get the input data that you export a value. You need not make a break each task. The two tasks are parallel.
