• No multi monitor option

  I use a laptop computer at work than the docks so I have multiple screens. I took my laptop home and has not been able to see a window that I had on one of the multiple screens before I removed it from the dock. I have messed around with the settings and was able to get all the windows on a single screen. Now I'm back at work and I don't have the option multi screen options. I don't know if I removed the option all together, but is it possible to reset these options or add the option monitor multi back?

  Generally, for that you hold down the Windows logo key and type a P (for 'project') to re - activate the second screen.  Although on some laptops there is also a specific special keyboard than the manufacturer call (my old computer Asus needed by pressing Fn + SHIFT + F7 all at once to toggle the additional screen, but it is different on each manufacturer).

  (1) have you tried to connect the monitor directly on the CPU and check?
  (2) have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

• Dual monitor Option available in C60

  Hello

  I was setting up a C60 Nomenclature for one of my clients. By making a selection in the option of software feature, I was able to get to select Lic for Multisite and Premium resolution, but not dual display.

  Is there is some other partcode to select the dual display option or it is by default when we order C60. Also, in the description of C60 partcode nothing was mentioned for DD Lic.

  Could not find the multiscreen option in display properties > settings. There is no information or under the 'Advanced '.

  I don't know where to find a updated driver for my integrated video card, so I can use the Svideo output in the computer. The HP site does not have any driver for Captureurs video for this PC. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

• Cannot use external monitor as primary monitor with Portege M400

  I'm unable to use the extended feature deasktop with my m400. I installed the latest video drivers. When I go to the driver intel graphics media accelerator under display properties and choose extended Office I can't use my external monitor as the primary monitor.

  The same thing on my satellite.
  I m not able to activate the device primary option on the external monitor.
  Of course, I m able to use the extended desktop and other options of the external monitor option but the parameters of the primary device for external monitor are gray.

  So I think that it of not possible to do something like that. As mentioned above, it could be a technical limitation.

  I have exactly the same external monitor but I don't t notice any monitor emits as you described in the message.
  I have two laptops and the monitor is connected to using VGA cable and DVI cable for two laptops
  In both cases, the monitor does not restart so I m not quite sure what you are talking about

  It s don't know for me about the hidden in the BIOS menus.
  In addition, you said that this problem does not occur with Linux, so I would say that its certainly nothing wrong with the BIOS. Also this theory would confirm because the other external monitor works well.

  Maybe some sort of software preinstalled Windows OS cause this?

  Also in the BIOS, you can choose the detection of the external monitor option (or something similar). Usually its set to automatic, but I assign this internal display.

  I found this info:

  Sub visualization allows the Gigaframe to act as a second monitor for your PC
  To activate the view Sub follow these steps:
  (1) install subview on the laptop.
  (2) in the main menu of gigaframe select settings, then press OK
  (3) select subview and press OK
  (4) select and press OK. Now the Gigaframe is in display Sub mode and is not operable.
  (5) connect the GigaFrame to your PC with the supplied USB cable
  (6) run the subview on your PC software
  (7) the display of Sub pop window, display the current screen display in the gigaframe

• Satellite X 200-219: 3 screens in the display options

  Remove the graphics from the device manager driver, reboot the laptop and install the graphics of the page of the European driver Toshiba driver.

• Qosmio x 300 - no option of dual display using analog

  Usually you can alter the brightness of the display on two ways: using FN + F6, F7 key combination or by using energy saving settings.

  I guess you cannot use FN key combination because some people have reported that it works well on Windows XP Home edition, but you can check the settings for display brightness in Toshiba Power Saver tool.

  If the steps above do not help, you may contact the manufacturer of the computer and check with the BIOS to display settings and adjust it accordingly.
