Computer always go to sleep after the deactivation of the implementation in

How can I get my computer completely go into a sleep mode and logging me out I changed my setting ever I went to advanced settings and it still does

Suggestions:

1. make sure that the computer is virus-free
Use Malwarebytes:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/ ... pickthe free version.

2 run a file system check to ensure that none of the corrupted files.
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files-SFC-command.html

3. run a disk check for corruption and possibly repair errors and bad sectors on the hard disk.

Start button > Search box, type cmd > look up, right-click on cmd.exe > Run As Administrator > in the black and white window, at the command prompt flashes, type chkdsk/f/r > press the Enter key.
Note: there is a space between 'chkdsk' and ' / '.
The screen will say something like cannot do it now, but you want to run it on reboot. Click on 'y' as in Yes >
Press enter > window cmd of output.
Restart your computer. It will take quite
some time. DO NOT stop the machine. Just wait.

4. optimize performance

  • Computer won't turn on after the mode 'sleep'

    My computer acted funny lately when it goes into mode 'sleep', and I have to reboot it until I can do something new. I know I'm not the only one having this problem, I've read the other posts on this problem. Anyway, my keyboard has a sleep button that I brush occasionally, that causes all this to happen. However, I brushed it today, and instead to go just in a coma, the computer entered into mode 'sleep' (the light was orange, noise died down), then woke up to the top in a way where the fan on, but the light went off. I've forced to close and then turned back on. Now when I turn it on, the light and fan both going on, but the monitor remains off, and none of the lights on the keyboard lights up. Is there a simple solution to this, or it will need repairs?

    Hello

    Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

    Perform the steps from the link below.

    The problems of wake the computer from sleep mode

    Warning: Be careful when you change the BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users, and it is possible to change a setting that can prevent your computer from starting properly. BIOS update should be made only if necessary (to solve a compatibility problem, for example). It can be a complicated process, and if an error occurs, your computer could be rendered inoperative. Be sure to observe the instructions of the manufacturer.

  • 10.8.3 OSX don't rest not in mode "sleep" after the installation of the wireless HP4620 printer

    I installed the HP4620 wireless printer, now OSX you waking up from his sleep after about 15 minutes, it didn't happen until I installed the HP4620.  So I opened a terminal and did a search for why the printer wakes up, the result was:

    Wake up the reason: GLAN HDEF EHC2

    I couldn't find any information about it, so I turned off and unplugged the printer, then turn on the computer sleep (which "now takes about a minute to sleep), now OSX wakes up after 45 minutes. So with the printer off and it's wake up yet, I think it must be something to do with the HP software installed?

    Does anyone else have this problem?  Any suggestions to correct sleep would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Thanks for the reply but reset the SMC did not work, I have reinstaled 10.8.3 OSX then the printer and sleep works again.  Forgot to mention, I am running a Hackintosh on a Gigabyte H77N-wifi Board but never had any problems with sleep or HP printers, it not was not up to what I have installed the HP4620 sleep has become is down with insomnia.

  • computer does not work properly after the update, because the screen is black.

    Advice please! :-(

    After an update there about 2 months, my computer has never worked properly after that I turned it back. My windows start page is longer there. My screen is black. The words are only in white and fluorescent yellow...

    The only way I can go online to find Norton (is always at the bottom of the black screen) and go to help. I can get a search bar like that. Almost as if this black screen hides everything below.  Computer is 13 months old.

    My internet provider says it isn't them. Gateway said it's not my computer so idk what happened after this update.

    Any advice would be so appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi Patty,.

    Welcome to the Microsoft community. I would be grateful if you can answer these questions.

    1. You have installed the latest drivers for Windows 8?
    2. What is the model number for Gateway computer?

    If you get a black screen after upgrade to Windows 8, it might be due to an outdated or incompatible graphics card driver. Update to the latest version of the display driver should fix this.

    Try to remove all external devices connected to the computer and then try to start the computer and check if it works. Follow these methods and check if that helps:

    Method 1: To resolve this problem, update the Gateway website. video card driver

    Step 1: Check out these Microsoft items for additional reference:

    Download and install the drivers

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/all-drivers

    Step 2: If you are not able to find drivers for Windows 8 to HP support. Try to install the graphics drivers in compatibility mode and check:

    Download your applications and devices in Windows 8.1

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/get-apps-devices-working

    If the problem persists, proceed to the next method.

    Method 2: I suggest to follow the suggestions provided in this Microsoft KB article and check if this can help:

    Windows 8 starts with a blank screen after a standard or hibernation

  • Adobe Pro update fails after the implementation of software restriction policies Cryptolocker - need to trouble

    Hello everyone

    As part of our protection against the virus Cryptolocker for the rapid spread, I added an object of group policy with strategies for Software Restriction against the execution of files in the temporary directory used by Cryptolocker:

    %AppData%\*.exe

    %AppData%\*\*.exe

    %LocalAppData%\*.exe

    %LocalAppData%\*\*.exe

    for example the directories %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto and %LocalAppData% variable and a level here

    I also blocked the executables to run within different programs 'zip '.

    I learned later (second hand) that Acrobat Pro and Adobe Flash updates have been blocked by this SRP.  They get an explicit message or fail with another error.  The update download correctly, but when you try to install from the system tray icon, it fails.

    If I'll find the downloaded file. MSP file (I have Acrobat Pro 10, so mine was in c:\program data\adobe\ARM\Acrobat_10.1.5) and click on 'Install', it installs successfully.

    We have an administrator is not restricted, but do account updates for people is not a good long-term solution.

    Can someone with experience with this please tell me if there is a specific executable or executables that I can 'whitelist' by adding to my strategy of Software Restriction as a file "without restriction."  The kicker with the 'white list', it's that I need to bless a specific executable (for example I can't quote a directory or give wildcards... There must be a path and the fully qualified name).

    NOTE: We have for most of the Windows 7 machines (no Win 7 is Vista have so the same user directory structure) and a mixture of Acrobat 9 Pro, X, XI

    Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Updates, most is the MSI file. In all cases, you succeed to make manual updates of http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows. Download the most recent update (each update will tell you the necessary previous version where you can ignore some). Then perform updates in the order. Simply restart after the update is complete.

  • Computer didn't wake up after the installation of Skype!

    "Do the wrong thing and Skype from Microsoft installed after telling me it was an update for Windows Live, now the machine goes to sleep but not awaken, the only way I can wake him up is to hit the Start button! has worked perfectly before this update "Windows Live"! someone an idea on how to solve this problem? »

    I'm not sure who gave the answer could understand what I wrote! I know what caused the problem, install 'SKYPE '! There is no problem of this magnitude before this, I had run all shooters of boredom and changed the power settings, all were useless, the only thing that helped so far, was to change the HDD to 3 hours stop, it was only that I've been away all day and would not wake up that I hit the Start button then the usual questions resurfaced as pending problems forever and script.
    There is no change in the Bios, the only thing but which would have changed anything here, would have been on Skype, if you're suggesting THAT SKYPE would be, I should look into that!

    I tried to install Skype today and McAffee blocked it saying it the installation file has a virus.  Think this detection was a mistake by McAfee and since I downloaded the program directly from the site of Syke I turned it off.  I removed Skype folders and clean all temporary files of Windows and my user profile.  Also, I cleaned up all other temporary files using Cleanmgr.  After that, I was able to restart the installation of Skype.  It was not long to get a lot of pop strange messages.  I immediately right click on the taskbar to access the Task Manager and stop installation.  To my surprise, the task manager has been disabled.  Who confirmed that I had just been infected by a virus.  So I pressed the power button to turn off the computer.  I have restared in safe mode and run the utility to restore the system (rstui.exe).  After I restored the computer to a previous point all was back to normal.

    It seems that someone has hacked into the site and replaced the installer with an infected.

  • hpC309a-computer slows to a crawl after the restart of the impression must each time

    I don't know much about computers, my husband installed the wireless c309a.  The printer seems to work very well even though I have not tried the scannner, but after printing a document, my computer is very slow.  Opening a document may take a few minutes.  The internet is too slow.  I get the error messages often on the internal memory is too low.  I have to reboot to get it to normal and can not keep the printer.  Restart takes about 20 minutes for all the error messages which are erect and things are difficult to close.  Help - I'm a real novice computer, but I know that the problem is the printer / wireless.  I had to uninstall it and reinstall, but that doesn't seem to help.

    It is a program that runs in the background that monitors your printer use (always).  It can severely degrade the performance of your computer, especially if you have very little RAM.

    Go to start, Control Panel, add/remove programs.

    Select the HP Customer Participation program and uninstall it.

    Restart your computer.

    To find out how much RAM you have, click Start, right-click computer, and select Properties.

    On this page, it will tell you how much RAM you have.  512 MB is the minimum, one less is good, too little.

  • How can I fix computer that does not start after the fan turns phase?

    I have a Compaq Presario SR5510F PC, Windows Vista Home Premium, AMD Athlon x 2. Lately, my computer is even worse at the start. When my computer starts, the fan should run for a few seconds, then it should stop and lead at the start with Compaq logo screen. But lately, the startup was completely terrible for my computer. Today, most of the time when I press the button in the box of the computer, the fan turns on and it continues to turn, and nothing comes on the screen. It isn't that rarely when the fan stops running, but then the monitor displays always upwards in white and VERY rarely when the startup screen appears, then it freezes on this screen. At this rate, my computer is totally useless when it does nothing but run his fan. This means that I can not go to boot options at all and go to the "last good configuration". What can I do to fix the computer when I can't have anything with her while she is empty?

    It sounds like a hardware problem, not a software problem.  If the computer rarely gets past the BIOS (material audit) stage of the startup sequence, then Windows is is not yet involved in the boot process again.  Request assistance from someone trained in the skills of troubleshooting hardware since this can become very expensive very quickly.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.
    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
  • Computer crashes a few minutes after the opening of session
    My computer is when I first put it together, and I fixed it.  Somehow.  Now, he has started doing again 4 months later after accidentally uninstalling Asus Smartdoctor and my GPU software.  Now, I can't reinstall even this kind of things.
    16 GB of ram
    1 TB HD
    NVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti
    Six cores AMD
    630 watts power
    I don't think it's a hardware problem, because it operate for 4 months without a hiccup.  I think the last time was happening, it was my computer trying to overclock my GPU when I didn't want it.
    In fact, I solved the problem myself.  After 12 hours of programs and hardware troubleshooting one by one, I discovered it was the software that uses my Rosewill Wireless Adapter that is causing the problem.  I removed the card and software and am waiting on a different model to be delivered today.
    Thanks for your time, however.
    I return this laptop Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 about a month and it has Windows 8. I start the laptop and once I enter username and password, I have a black screen with the mouse pointer. Lenovo support has been useless. They asked me to run c:\windows\system\restore\rstrui.exe by using the Task Manager, but I get the file not found. When I go to the command prompt by using the Task Manager and check dir listing in the directory of restoration, it shows empty.
    Very frustrated. Can someone please help here on the Microsoft Forum?
    Thank you in advance.
    It seems to me a solution, it worked for me, so hopefully it will work for you as long as you experience the same problem.
    Because you can always go to the sign in screen, do the following:
    Click on the power icon in the lower right to open the menu,
    Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking the button of /restart/ once.
    A screen will appear after a few moments.
    Click and follow the instructions /Refresh/ and let him go during its cycle...
    all fixed!
