  Looks like we can fix pretty easily. To be able to scan from your computer directly on your computer you need to activate the scan function in the software for your printer on your computer. The cursor has changed to the blue circle by day and cycles but will not move with the mouse or key.  In the past, some updates took 3-4 hours, they have been great with more than a dozen of components, but never anywhere as long as it. I opened and closed the DVD several times, that works and is empty, just to see if anything's happening. What should I do? Should I continue to wait? If so how long? Can I really just ignore the warnings and turn it off and restart it?
