• PhotoStory3 "motion and duration."

  I had a problem with PhotoStory3 since last year.  I use PhotoStory3 for quite a few years now.  Last year when trying to create another story I had a lot of trouble when I arrived to the area ' motion and duration.   Tracking my problem above.  I use XP home SP3 I have 515 MB Ram and 161 GB of memory.  I was talking to a friend who has recently created a photo essay on Windows 7.  He had tried to create it under Vista it work properly, but it did on 7.  Perhaps Microsoft changed something in their updates in 12-18 months >

  To the first question, while I can't tell you with certainty, yes reducing motion should keep a battery life.

  To the second question, it depends. If automatic brightness is to keep the phone on a higher setting to half way then it would be. If A - B fits between a minimum and a high level, then probably not. I keep A - B on all the time and I have no problem with the battery life, but if I'm outside it would be a trade off between being able to read the screen and save battery.

• I just tried to download Vista SP1 on my count, he went through all the motions and now my computer is nothing but a black screen.

• Microsoft Photo Story 3-How do to customize motion and picture formats

  Problems with photo story 3

  I love this program and just got a new computer with windows 7.  He did install the program BUT it is EXTREMELY difficult to customize the movement and the photos do not want me to drag them to new heights. This is one of the best features of the program.  Help I'm going crazy with this.  One of the main reasons we got this big new computer was so that I could play with my photos and more photos and effectively more holiday DVD.  I was scanning the hundreds of old slides for my father and put it on DVD so that he can enjoy all his old memories.

  Because Photo Story 3 is compatible with Windows 7 and it should work fine.
   
  • Rather than click Import pictures, you can open the folder where your photos, click on the photos you want to import, and then make them slide to import and organize your photos on the page. However, you cannot drag image files with the following file name extensions to import and organize your photos page: .tga, .psd, .eps, .pcd and PCX. • How to use several "Track Motion' and 'Stabilize the Motion' trackers.

  I am very new to After Effects. I looked everywhere for hours trying to find an answer to this question without success. I'm sure that I use while simply not the right search terms.  I have a video that is make up of 3 different clips.  I add a tracker of movement to stabilize her, he wants to apply it to the entire video in all three clips. Each of the three shots followed different points.  Is it possible I can specify the first tracker applies only to the Let's say the first 30 seconds, then add a second tracker to the middle with his own track point clip, then a third tracker for the end?

  All I can think to do is take the video share in 3 sections, and then apply the tracker each. When it's done I could then combine them into one video. Not the easiest if.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  It would be really hard to not blurred hand.  It's blurred and the fingers are moving so you have 2 things to work on.

  You can try to mask filter/blur/sharpness and play with that.

  The easy way is to resume shooting.

• Several errors in Final Cut Studio. I just need to reinstall everything?

  Hi, I was tolerating a lot of mistakes in my Final Cut Studio edition for a while now, but I decided to try to correct them, because they really get in the way, I listed below...

  1. I often get errors of the 'out of memory', especially when rendered. Often I just close Final Cut and re - open, then when I make it works fine. Ideally I would not get the errors at all well. Any suggestions?

  2. I use text in my videos, I often put the date at first. I use some plugin text generators that I love. They worked fine for awhile but lately occasionally text randomly goes into random numbers and letters, see the image below, it was supposed to read "February 2016'...»

  1. This error can occur if you have formats on the timeline in FCP dislikes, such as H.264 or MP4... basically any codec issue not covered by the program. ALSO... This can happen if you stills that are greater than 4000 pixels.

  3 & 4... I see that you are running OS 10.9.5. The latest OS fully supported for the FCP 7 was 10.6.8. Each version of the OS after that goes further away from support total and complete operability. That being said, I still use FCP 7 on my machine running 10.9.5, but I lost functionality... Motion and Compressor and Qmaster no longer work.   So well here that is the problem with sending to... compressor Compressor 3.5 provided with FCP does not work on 10.9.5.  You will need to get the latest version... but then FCP cannot SEND to compressor with this version, you need to export a file and then compress him.

  I just clean installed Lion and CS6, I don't think I need to bother with FCP more that I fully migrated to first.   Motion and Compressor are the cheaper options. Furthermore, I played right away with Adobe Media Encoder on a mac mini (almost) nine and I find that I am able to export to Prores. Funny, I don't remember having bought something from Apple. I just downloaded and deleted everything at the time of the trial of Andrea Fcpx.

  Technical TThe answer is Yes, but your computer has a lot of power.  Unless you have a large number of tracks I'd not concerned as long as everything is performing. You can always turn them off if you wish.

• Send to compressor: how to choose the camera

  I apologize if this is a really stupid question, I'm quite new to Motion 5.

  If I am not mistaken, with send to compressor, using the multi-passages option, and other compressor optimized parameters will result in the export of better quality, if this is true, it's the method that I would use for my final exports.  (If I'm wrong, please correct me and let me know which will give the best final ProRes 4444 60 fps 1080 p export - I then import them using FCPX and do a little cut etc, then exporting to h.264 final 60 fps 1080 p).

  Anyway, to my question, how choose them which camera I want to export?

  I choose 'Export using compressor settings,' and then I give myself the opportunity to choose which camera, but I no longer like the options of compressor, where I can choose to use multi-pass and all other settings.

  I tried selecting the camera that I want to export, and then "Send to compressor", but that does not work, it does not use the camera, I chose.  I have a total of eight cameras, so to choose which device I export is quite important for this odd project.

  If you use 'Export using compressor settings' this essentially load presets created in compressor without going into the application, so it has minimal options for adjustment.  What you want to do, you should be able to create a preset in compressor with the settings you need.  Then moving when you use "Compressor to help export settings" select your preset and in the Render tab, there is the section of 3D rendering, you can select the camera you want to copy.  By default, it should be 'Active Caméra', but you can select your other cameras as well.

  I don't have the money or use it enough more update my applications. So, I'm on FCP 5.1.4 and all the updates that come with it. I can't the compressor (2.3.1) want to work more. It says that it cannot connect to background process. So after much research I went to uninstall it and reinstall such route recommended by Apple. After you have reinstalled compressor and Qmaster, I need to update, but I can't find the update anywhere. I got up and ran ProAppsUpdate2006-002, but who has not take back me to Compressor 2.3.1. Does any know where I can get fond?

  Your operating system is too recent.  Compressor 3.5 and 2.3 erupted when MacOS 10.9 (Mavericks) has been released. Motion and QMaster also do not work. The only way to get this version of the compressor (it's almost 8 years), working is to run on an older operating system. Without exceeding 10.8.

• codecs and .avi files

I installed GSpot and it tells me that the video file CODEC is MJPG/Motion JPEG, a digital camera Olympus Pen EPL1, and there is no required CODEC on the audio file.   Concerning

  For the predefined project, you can go to the toolbar at the top of the main editing screen and look at Edit > properties for the project, at least that which was moved in PrE 9.

  When CODECS are installed properly in the system, and they are those who pre can use, the program will use with the highest priority for the import. It is usually the last installed. Export/share (MJPEG is rarely used here), we got a drop-down list, which will be available in Advanced and compressor or similar syntax, but the exact location may vary by format, and also all the CODECS aren't available, there still according to the chosen format.

  MJPEG, to not more than one of these two. If one has a MJPEG CODEC, installed from utility disk from the camera (could be separate install, with the driver or included it editing software), they should not need to install others, such as the camera mfgr. has optimized the contained, usually with the CODEC used by the control.

  As you have the MJPEG CODEC installed, I would look first in the match between the screening of the project and source files. If there is still a gap, then hit Enter to restore the timeline or parts of it, should get a good smooth reading - Redline turns green.

  Check for a first report, offset, and then we can move a few steps.

  PS - I'm a big fan of the ONLY installation that the exact CODEC when required and NOT only install CODECS, that can be found. Keep his computer as clean, is it possible, is paramount.

• "Workflow" for Slow Motion DSLR

  Hi, I've been experimenting with the creation of idle smoothly in a calendar of 1080/25 and questioned on the best workflow. (I used a Canon 70 d, stipulating that 50 frames per second at 720)

  So: Chronology 1080/25 Pro Res FCP7 (majority of the 1080/25 source footage)

  I want to add a short section of idle and for that I shot in 720/50 - but of course it is made at 25 frames per second when added to the timeline and playback is stuttering when 50% of the speed value.

  So I sent the clip (at 50%) to 4 Motion and applied optical flow - this provided a smoother playback

  (I tried to optical flow on a clip of 1080/25 to 50% but reading stuttered slightly)

  I just wanted to confirm if it is the best workflow for idling smoothly.  Also when I tried to apply the optic flow on a second Motion 4 already 'optic flow"selected clip, but when I clicked on that nothing happened - I had to close out Motion and start over with the clip under a new name.
