  • Did not use the MacBook Pro 15 "retina mid 2015 in a month

    Hey guys,.

The title says it all, does not use my top of the line macbook pro retina 15 "with amd r9 370 x in a month and im afraid if this miight have damaged the battery.

the last time that I used it the battery was 100% until I stopped him.

Thank you guys. BTW, the cycle of the battery I have is 6

Apple recommends that the computer has on a charge of 50% and the computer turn off (not asleep) when it is unused for a long period of time. I don't think the fact that you left it with a load of 100% is going to be a big problem. But if you let him sleep in now the computer have exhausted the battery and put the computer into hibernation. You may need to load for a short period until he starts if this is the case.

A week ago, I noticed that the thunderbolt the closest port to the MagSafe port does not work, but the other port thunderbolt works as it should with all devices I'm trying. I already tried a SMC and PRAM reset without success and there is no update available software. I bought the new Apple computer in September, so I should be still under warranty. Any thoughts?

    Thank you!

  • HP Photosmart Prem 310a went offline suddenly and will not identify the SSID to run the Network Setup Wizard.

All of a sudden the printer has gone offline a few days ago.  Went through all the diagnostics, etc. but nothing fixed.  A solution-Assistant will not work cause it will not identify the SSID of the network that he has done since it was installed (long ago).  Have tried everything I can find online, unless I don't understand or is not quite apply and still nothing.  Wireless network works with everything except the printer. I am not very computer so I do not understand most of the letter & numbers abbreviations used here.  Help.

It may be a heat problem - radio from the printer gets flakey when it's hot.

  • MacBook pro 2015 stuck in Bluetooth Setup mode after commissioning, recognizes on the keyboard and track pad. SMC reset does not work.

My Macbook Pro 2015 stopped periodically (and now permanently discontinued) responding on keyboard and touch pad Board. This seemed to start at the same time, I got a Bluetooth headset; When I turn on the computer, he's stuck in Bluetooth Setup mode. I tried to reset the SMC, and it does not work. I don't have a Bluetooth keyboard to even try with it. Also, I can't start in safe mode. It seems completely blocked. Any help you might be able to offer would be great!

    Hello rad trp,.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

From your post, I understand that your keyboard and trackpad on your MacBook Pro are unresponsive and now you see the Bluetooth set up screen on the computer. I also see that you tried to reset the SMC, but that doesn't seem to work because the built-in keyboard do not respond.

I know that you do not have a bluetooth keyboard, you can connect, but you have a USB keyboard? Even a USB keyboard for a computer Windows will work. If you do, I would say connection that the keyboard and you use these keys to perform an SMC reset, but reset the PRAM as well. Instructions on both of these resets can be found in the links below if you need.

  • Cannot connect to the macbook pro guard icloud password request which I changed it too many times I don't remember and it still does not

Can not connect to macbook pro, that keeps asking for password to icloud I have reset too many times I do not remember. Reinstalled operating system still does not work. Think to screw up the laptop and get back to a Windows machine. Not impressed with Apple.

To connect to your computer, you must enter your computer in password journal, not your Apple ID.

Otherwise, provide more details on exactly what is happening on.

  • U2515H, MacBook Pro 2015, Dell mDP to DP cable does not?

    Hi all

I just bought a MacBook Pro 15 "model mid 2015." I have a Dell U2515H monitor. The cable provided by Dell is a DisplayPort / Mini DisplayPort. I used this same cable with my Macbook Air late 2011 and it worked. I tried to use the same cable with the Macbook Pro that I bought and it doesn't work. I got an HDMI cable and only that I connected to my TV and that works very well. I wonder why it does not work with the DisplayPort cable since it worked with the old Macbook Air. This new crush does not accept this type of cable? Because if not, I'll have to buy another HDMI cable :-/

    Thank you, Ralph

    Problem solved just!

As incredible as it may seem, I realized that I was a plug in the side of the cable mini DisplayPort to the Macbook Pro!

I thought that these cables have been designed to have a CAP that prevents this sort of thing! :-(

I bet I wasn't the only one to do that.

  • Apple devices will not print not to 6700 Officejet, including the MacBook Pro and iPad

I'm helping someone to implement their MacBook Pro and iPad to print wirelessly on their Officejet 6700. I have recently set them up with a new Apple Airport Extreme for their router. The printer connects to the wireless network. During the installation process of the printer is fine, that the MacBook can easily see the printer. The appropriate driver is installed. They also have a laptop Windows 7, which prints instanteously and has no problem whatsoever.

When I try to print from the Mac, nothing prints. I open the print queue and it says 'Printing - a printer' and nothing ever comes of it. When you try to print from the iPad, you can see the printer and I select. However, after saying in print, said only dialog box: 'Connection to the printer' and he never - it just times out.

    Things I've tried:

    • Everything in this article which corresponds to Macs (10.8).
    • Reset the printing on Mac system.
    • Reset the printer to default settings.
    • The definition of the static IP address of the printer through the printer settings.
    • Setting the IP address of the printer via the Airport utility (after changing the automatic printer).
    • Restart the Mac after each attempt to remove the printer and adding again.
    • Using the official HP Officejet 6700 driver.
    • Use the Airprint driver.

    Other info:

    • Successfully, I can ping IP address of the printer from the MacBook Pro.
    • I can easily see the web page of configuration of the printer in the printer settings both by entering the IP address.
    • The printer is only about a month.
    • They bought this printer because the earlier had problems printing from all of their wireless devices. It is with a previous router in their ISP.

At this point, I'm completely puzzled as to why the printer will print not these Apple devices. We have addressed all the issues that might be causing it: the network, the printer and the MacBook itself. I looked online and can't see any problem with people not being able to print to a wireless printer connected to an Airport Extreme. I saw some problems when the printer is connected via USB to an Airport Extreme, but this isn't our installation program.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, I must admit, I had to do a lot of research to find something that you have not already tried! Thanks for your efforts so far @derick03 I accept the challenge of helping you get this to work.

I have a vague feeling that the problem may have something to do with the router settings and to test my theory, I would like to try something for me.

Please, open the preferences system, printing and scanning, click on the + symbol to add a printer, but this time, instead of the default tab, click the IP tab. Now let's add the printer using HP Jet Direct Protocol instead of the standard Hello.

You can enter the IP address here, choose the HP Jet Direct and then select the printer driver, and then try to print. You will not be able to analyze this way, I just do this for diagnostic purposes. If you can print, it confirms the Hello Protocol is, and you will need to call Apple to make them turn on Hello, multicast and ensure that all the necessary ports are open.

Not all wireless routers take load Hi or all features of Hello. Hello being the default method for the discovery of printers on a network, you must ensure that your wireless router supports Hello.
  • I can't get notes on my macbook pro iCloud

I chose notes in system preferences-icloud on my imac, iphone and macbook pro, so the notes are in iCloud. I see all the notes on my imac and iphone icloud, but strangely nothing on my macbook pro. I already tried to remove and reinstall the statement in the macbook pro, but it does not help. This problem only occurs not in what concerns the calendar in iCloud, which can be seen on the three elements (iphone, imac, macbook pro).
