• Motu 8 pre distorted his left channel

  I bought a MacBook Pro 2014 2, 2 GHz i7, 16 G memory vivid and connected my Motu 8 pre via FireWire-> love at first sight. When you use it with Logic Pro 10.2.4 is immediately created questions about my left channel.   Since the bones and especially logical does not collect the devices by name, they are added to the system in the order that they are taken up by USB, that you've discovered is not consistent. I don't think that there is nothing you can do at this point.   I had google around your sounndcard of motorcycle and has me filled. The firewire port should detect the card. Only, you can try to install the IEEE 1394 host controller driver. Next step would be to recover the laptop and try to use the FW port with a new high OS (OS recovery Toshiba) system. The cobblestones of this new configuration system laptop back to the default configuration.

  If so the FW port doesn't work, you can contact Toshiba Service partner for a short verification upward!

  IN the audio and midi on a Mac, you need to create an agregate device that contains both. Then, in the logic select this new device as input.

• Core Audio Crash, no output MOTU 10.2.1

  Since the upgrade to 10.2.1 I got in trouble with the logic to drop and then re - initialize CoreAudio. He would go from 48 to 42 KHz, sometimes when opening. It would work for a day or two, and then the problem reappears. Constant decline CoreAudio, no assigned MIDI channel. Various combinations of logic to quit and restart the logic or the MOTU 828 mkii FW would get things back.

  Sometimes when you restart logic, the default clock speed would increase from 48K to 44.1 K.

  Try a Reset of the MOTU, the sound output, & high freq rattling is a gift.

  Something to remember, whenever the operating system upgrade or logic, unplug the Firewire MOTU 828 cable before starting the upgrade process.

  828 mk2 reset:

  First, turn off the computer!

  Unplug the 828mkII firewire cable

  Press the configuration button

  Turn the button all the way to the right

  Press the selection button

  Press the button Value

  Turning off the interface and reconnect the firewire cable

  Back on the power interface

• MOTU Audio Express plays don't no multitrack

  10.11 FCPX 10.2.2 with a MOTU Audio Express of the test.

  Probably a bug in the driver, but I'm having a problem where only FCPX only plays stereo return even if the project shows it will output surround.  Audio multitrack works in Quicktime Player, however it seems to be relegated to a FCPX problem.

  Need to configure the audio / MIDI - set up the 5.1 surround sound speakers specifically. I used "Quadraphonic" before and it doesn't work anymore in this version of FCPX or 10.11. Put in 5.1 surround and assigning the outputs work accordingly.

  I have an Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012-16AA 2-in-1 removable laptop / Tablet and I bought it in February this year. • MOTU DRIVER INSTALL

  Recently I had to reinstall Vista Home Basic x 64 and among my hardware is a Motu 896HD Motu Microlite USB. Current drivers installed fine on my previous instance of Vista but Vista now allow me to install and told that they can be dangerous and I should change the option to install the package of basic user interface. If someone can tell me how to change this option, it would be great. I already did the thing 'unlock' and select 'run as administrator ' too, but I can't always install the drivers. I am logged on as administrator, and my other one profile is in the group admin also. My patience are shredded, please help and no circle STROKE answers if possible.

  We believe that you should check with your hardware manufacturer to see if they have the correct drivers for Windows Vista 64-bit. Make sure that you update the drivers and run all the current updates for your system. You may need to uninstall the current drivers you have, and then restart your computer and reinstall the drivers again to see if that solves the problem you are experiencing.

• PLDS DVD +-RW DH - 16AES will not burn a DVD - RW

  I have a PLDS DVD +-RW DH - 16AES drive in my workstation Precision T1700. It burns no more than DVD - RW discs.  I ran various diagnoses and there is nothing obviously wrong. I tried to burn discs from Sony and Maxell DVD - RW. I can't even format the disk using Windows Explorer.

  Any suggestions?

  Ritek is not one of my favorite brands. You can see the comments here are mixed for this media code. So, I'd like to try something else. I honestly think that DVD + RW is usually better.

  Another thing. You need to format the RW disks.

• CS6 audition recognizes MOTU 8Pre but will not record

  I used hearing for several years in a Mac with a Presonus Firestudio environment and not experienced any problems, but I am now using a PC and a MOTU 8Pre (USB) for recording and immediately ran into trouble.

  The 8Pre seems to be implemented correctly, with all current ASIO drivers installed on the PC, and hearing seems to recognize it as the MOTU Audio Console. However, I can't record anything. I can see/assign the 8Pre inputs and I can arm tracks for recording, but do nothing to screen the entry of the track levels and if I hit 'save' and then 'stop', not even silence is recorded. Is there anything right on the track. Meanwhile, the signal is strong on the 8Pre physical display, and all my settings/preferences of Audio material suggest that everything is OK.

  Yes, you will probably need to open the CueMix of MOTU software to set up your inputs/outputs and followed if you did not already.

  Please also check if this happens in a new profile. If the new profile is correct, you can later copy the necessary personal data of the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings in a different location (folder profile) separated from its files/folder. A new profile would default Firefox settings (Tools (Alt + T) > Options, and topic: config ) and usually also would be vacuum of Extensions and themes (appearance) in tools > Add-ons) and their parameters. In addition, a new profile would have no previous website stored data/settings etc, (Tools > clear recent history).

• HP Envy model 700-200Z: DVD player for 16A ESH -.

  Since the upgrade to Windows 10 generic Microsoft driver for the DVD drive (dated 2006) is not enough for my DVD drive to be recognized by my system, that's why I find myself with a player who's GOING to answer, but does not burn and will play only prerecorded CD and DVD.  Nobody seems to know how to get the driver for the system.  Any help anyone can offer is certainly appreciated, my information system, please let me know if I missed anything.

  Unfortunately, there is no HP Win10 driver for your device. HP is not no matter what timetable indicating when, or IF, they will produce drivers for older machines.

  Jenna, welcome to the forum.

  I think that the hard drive has failed.  This is the Troubleshooting section for the hard drive.  I suggest following the guide on the test it.  If she shows that it does not, your only option is to replace it.  Here's a guide to help you replace it.  You must make sure that the new hard drive is the same size or larger than the existing one.
