Mouse and keyboard connection dropped

I have a HP spectrum a 23-e010 and once from time to time the wireless keyboard and the wireless mouse will not respond. Nothing is affected on my computer, (no error message) Skype calls and even progress to games, but I can't use my keyboard and mouse. Hold the Connect button on the back of the devices or transform them and the new does nothing. The only solution I found is to force the shutdown of the computer with the power button on the computer.

What happened since I first got this computer. I tried to reinstall bluetooth drivers and others, but nothing has not improved. Can I do to solve this problem?

Thank you very much

Go to control panel > Power Options _ set it to high performance.

Open the Task Manager > click on 'Services' in the title bar > open services at the bottom of the screen.

You should be at a screen that is alphabetically > find the Bluetooth services, right click on them and make sure they are set to automatic and that they are running.

Return to the control panel > Device Manager and expand "Bluetooth."

Open each of them and at least one of them will "Power Management" in the title bar.

A click on it and uncheck "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

It is general instructions, if you need me to be more precise, I need to know what OS you are using and what Bluetooth software you are running. (if applicable)

Some Bluetooth devices will work with happiness, if you use the battery Bluetooth of Windows, while others work better on the software provided by the manufacturer _ but not always.

Software Logitech can cause delay off downs and be a little buggy and sometimes it's better just to use the Bluetooth of Windows software already built in.

    Hello

That's right, I checked on the Asus site and there is no drivers for motherboard Asus P7H55-M LX. Let us try to install the drivers for Windows 7 in compatibility mode and check if it helps. TO install a driver in compatibility mode follow the steps below.

  • Mouse and keyboard not working only not to the login screen

Hi, I was recently infected with Antispyware Soft virus. In my attempt to remove it, my screen went black, so I had to restart my computer. Entering my login screen, I was unable to connect because my keyboard and mouse no longer works. I tried to start the safe mode too and they still do not work on the login screen. However, they work at the start of the BIOS. I looked around, but I couldn't find any option for Legacy USB drivers. I went to a few USB option and select [Enabled] and it still doesn't work to the login screen. I have no PS2 port, so I can't try it. I was also able to use my mouse and keyboard when you attempt a repair of the system to do a system restore, but that solves nothing. I am at a loss what to do. I hope someone is late, as I'll be gone tomorrow/more day late today. I am writing a computer laptop and unable to remember any care my office except the fact, it's Windows Vista.

    Hi HellMuT1,

We recommend to use a different mouse and keyboard, then check the result. If the problem persists, try the following steps.
    1. Insert Windows Vista DVD.
    2. restart your computer.
    3. let the computer restart (boot) from the DVD.
    4. If you are prompted, press a key to continue.
    5. When you reach the screen install Windows, select your preferences in the language to install, time and currency format and keyboard or input method boxes, and then click Next.
    6. do not click on install now. Instead, click on repair your computer. The System Recovery Options dialog box appears.
    7. make sure that the appropriate operating system is selected, and then click Next.
    8. After you click Next, the System Recovery Options menu appears.
    9. click on command prompt.
    10. type devmgmt.msc and press enter
    11. on the window Device Manager, in the object list, expand mice and other pointing devices.
    12. make a right click the sub element and click on uninstall.
    13 expand keyboards.
    14. make a right click the sub element and click on uninstall.
    15. Type exit and press ENTER to restart the computer.
    16. remove Vista DVD and restart the computer to see if the keyboard and mouse works fine.

    I hope this helps.

  • Can't install/uninstall Microsoft mouse and keyboard Center!

Hi, I got problem with the Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Centre because he doesn't identify my touch mouse correctly (classified as a HID-compliant device and not by its name as my Sidewinder X 4 keyboard). I uninstalled from Add/Remove Programs, and I also uninstalled the drivers for my mouse AND my keyboard (because it showed a double receiver device in device manager). I restarted my computer, but when I tried to install the drivers again in the process of installing mouse and keyboard I got an error message telling me that it was already installed. I uninstalled it again (the "ghost" of it is still listed in Add/Remove Programs) and restarted. When I tried to reinstall, I got the message again who told me that it was already installed. This is when strange things began to happen. The program was once again listed in Add/Remove Programs (this time with its icon and not only a "ghost"). I tried uninstalling and received a message telling me that the uninstall process could not be met because some the original installation files have been corrupted or missing. But now, the program has been listed in the Windows Start menu and when I double click it it started an installation process ceased to immediately resume a message that mkc.msi was missing from a temporary file to My Documents, and he could not proceed, so now I can't install or uninstall the cursed thing. I tried to restore my computer but it doesn't solve all problems. I suspect that some registry entries are not deleted properly when the first uninstall process. I don't want to mess with the registry by myself, at least not until I know what registry entries are created by and in connection with the program. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

  • Mouse and keyboard does not not on Windows 7

So first of all, I'm on Windows 7 and all that funcioned normally for like 3 months up to date. Windows updated itself, during the night and restarted... the morning I have the computer completely off and came back in the evening, I started the computer and it started normally, but to my amazement when I tried to move my mouse that she did not move, he was completely frozen... It was a logitec wireless mouse + keyboard set. and yes my keyboard no longer works. I tried to restart my computer and restarting the mouse/keyboard, but nothing. the strange thing is that clearly the keyboard and mouse are funcional because I connected to my laptop and it works fine. In the black screen, when you shut down your computer by holding down the power button, the error screen where it gives you option to start the computer in safe mode or in normal mode, I can use my keyboard to navigate and choose how I want to start the po of the computer by choosing the windows in normal mode starts normally , but once again the mouse and keyboard both do not work. And the same problem in safe mode so I tried to do everything in the menus before starting windows, but nothing works. mouse and keyboard won't work when windows is operational.

for the moment, I tried everything I could think, I read this forum in full, but nothing works, and since I can't use my keyboard so I can't navigate at all to get the mouse works.

I tried to use a keyboard with a rope and a different mouse as well but the same problem as with wireless keyboard/mouse. Can someone help me with this problem? It seems that I can't do nothing and it is a 1200 euro computer game with 6 cores... I would like to make it work back

    Hi SilverSepp,

    ·         You connect the USB or PS/2 (Wired) keyboard?

    ·         When you installed the Windows updates?

    ·         There were several updates installed?

Method 1: Try to use a keyboard or a PS/2 mouse to check the issue. (if available)

Method 2: Since you cannot use the devices even in safe mode, I suggest you perform a system restore and see if it helps. This will help us also to know the updates have been installed as they become available again.

Try to perform a restore of the system to WinRe (Windows Recovery Environment)

    a. restart your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.

    b. use the arrows to select repair your computer in the Advanced Options of Windows Start Menu and press ENTER.

    c. Select System Restore from the System Recovery Options. Follow the instructions.

  • Re-enter the key of W7, but my mouse and keyboard are not active?

Hi guys when I turn on my computer now, it sends me directly on a screen where it asks me to re - enter the key of W7, I I try this but recognized the tRNA of the mouse and keyboard. After about 2 minutes, it goes to a screen where it says "this copy of Windows not genuine."

If you can shed some light on how to get the mouse and keyboard to the rear, it would be great.

    Thank you!

Have you tried to connect the keyboard and mouse to different USB ports?

Is it wireless or wired keyboard and mouse?

You can always re - enter the product key when you reach the office by following these steps:

Enter the product key and click next to activate via the Internet.

  • Mouse and keyboard not working only not with the ERD in Windows 7 and Windows 7 install disc

I have a Dell XPS 8700.  I just did an upgrade to an SSD.  The DSS started once with no problems, then it wouldn't start.  I get an error message 1 MBR.

If I do a F12, I am able to boot from the SSD drive and everything works fine, but if any process requires a reboot it will not work.  IE, windows update that requires a restart does not update because it cannot restart.

To fix the MBR, use either the repair or install disk to get to the command line.  I have two drives and when I boot with them I get the initial screen of language/keyboard and mouse and keyboard do not work.  I have the keyboard and mouse installed in USB 2.0 ports, their was also in 3.0 ports with the same results.  They work fine until the disc over to install the files, and then they die.  I tried 2 different sets of keyboards and mice with the same results.

I also tried to use the Dell recovery disk and it did find and supposed to solve a problem when I ran in the beginning.  But I still get the MBR error.  The disc is represented and it did not find any problems and I wanted to reinstall windows back to the factory.

Suggestions as to how to get my mouse and keyboard work again with the repair and install discs would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Navneet,

    Thank you for responding.

Did you change the computer other than the upgrade to an SSD?

Yes, I have, but that was before the SSD.  I upgraded the video card and added a 1 TB of HARD drive data.

What is the complete error message you get on the MBR?

    The message reads as follows;

"MBR 1 error.  Press any key to boot from floppy. »

There is no floppy drive installed and I even tried to start with only the connected SSD.

    Are you an error code?

    No error code.

As for changing the BIOS, I am not satisfied with messing with the BIOS, if this isn't an option.

After thinking about this problem, I think that Dell has disabled somehow able to use disc repair/install "Windows".  I say this because they have disabled the ability to create a disk to repair Windows out of the Dell system and cannot create a Dell recovery disk.  Also because Dell has changed the MBR it wouldn't do any good to reset the MBR to the default value of Windows and the Dell recovery disk does not give you the ability to recover the MBR manually only.

I decided that the best option was to do a clean reinstall of the OS, and that's what I did.  Everything works great for now.   It is a PITA, but nothing that I have not done before.

    Thanks again for your help...

  • Installation of Windows do not recognize mouse and keyboard

I'm building a new PC. The motherboard is an ASRock z77 Extreme6.

Everything seems fine. I can access the UEFI configuration and use the mouse and the keyboard.
When I insert the DVD Microsoft Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and the start of it, then the mouse and the keyboard is not active and I can not finish the installation procedure. The keyboard is connected USB and a Microsoft Sidewinder X 4.
The mouse is a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500. The receiver is in a USB port on the back. As I said, both are recognized by the UEFI firmware.
Any advice on how to complete the installation of Windows without a mouse and a keyboard? :)

The best and probably the only way is to use a "wired" mouse and keyboard until you get Windows installed, then Windows can load the appropriate drivers for the wireless connection.

  • is there a single mouse driver to carve microsoft ergonomic mouse? The "Mouse and keyboard Centre 2.3" driver/software is not compatible with my other keyboard...

    Hello!

So I went on the microsoft Web site to download the software/driver for my "Microsoft sculpt ergonomic mouse", but is the only driver/software they listed the "mouse and keyboard Centre 2.3", which seems to be for their mouse and keyboard...» I tried to install, but after installation than my other brand non-microsoft (mark i-rocks) 2.4 ghz wireless keyboard Connect is more to his receiver and I am unable to use the keyboard. I tried resynciing and everything but nothing works only as long as this "keyboard and mouse center 2.3" driver/software is installed, so now I have to uninstall that and just use the regular driver for the "microsoft sculpt ergonomic mouse" I have, so I can use my keyboard...

I want to know, is there another older version of mouse only driver/software that I can use with my "ms sculpt ergonomic mosue?  Maybe the latest intellipoint mouse driver would work? What is the latest version and how to find?    or only the "keyboard and mouse Center 2.3" works with this mouse?  so in this case, I have no other choice than to use the generic mouse driver?

Thanks in advance for the help!

    lendbz

I finally thought to it. Apparently, when you install the software/driver "Mouse and keyboard Centre 2.3" for the "mouse sculpt ergonomic microsoft", it will install both the driver for mouse and keyboard correspondence pilot as well, even if I only have the keyboard.  I tried this software even with my old microsoft natural wireless laser mouse 7000 and time that he installed only the mouse driver. I'm guessing that the nano-receiver for the mouse ergonomic sculpt can receive both the ergonomic keyboard and ergonomic mouse? .

If the software installed one "microsoft USB dual receiver Wireless Mouse" under "Mice and other pointing device" in the Device Manager and a "receiver double USB microsoft wireless keyboard' under 'keyboard '.  What I did is simply to go into the Device Manager and uninstalled the driver "microsoft USB receiver double wireless keyboard" and check the box to "delete the driver for this device" so that the keyboard driver will not return and be a pilot and leave just installed microsoft mouse, so now I don't have that the "microsoft USB dual receiver Wireless Mouse" and the generic driver keyboard "HID Keyboard Device" in Device Manager to the the microsoft place unwanted, one, now I can go ahead and install any brand wireless/wired keyboard and the microsoft keyboard driver no longer interfere with it.

  • Mouse and keyboard does not not to login screen (Windows 7)

As far as I know, an update of windows was held last night. When I try to log on to my office (gateway), my keyboard and mouse (Logitech M310 K520) do not work. I tried to connect in safe mode, but still no luck. I can press F8 before it connects to enter advanced startup options. I went in the selection 'repair your computer', and my mouse and keyboard work fine. I tried a system restore, run the Diagnostics, memory windows and tried several reboots, but without any difficulty. I have tried other mice, tried different USB slots, but all have the same problems. They work very well until what the login screen and then do not respond.

  • Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center 2.3.188.0 is not Exchange buttons of the mouse correctly with Windows Remote Desktop

I use Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center for years with no problems. For example, version 2.2.173.0 worked well. I use Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

I swapped the buttons on my Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 (so that the right button's "click" and the left button displays a context menu, for example). When I connect to a remote computer, traded buttons continue to operate as programmed.

Just set Windows Update to update my mouse and keyboard Center to the 2.3.188.0 version. Now when I use the Windows Remote Desktop to connect to another computer that is running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, my button is not honored. In other words, on the local computer, the right button of the mouse is 'click '. On the remote computer, the left mouse button is 'click '. The keys are reversed on the local computer, as I have it configured, but not on the remote computer.

I called Microsoft and was transferred to various departments. I would like to report this bug, although I have to pay out of pocket, but there seems to be no way to report this bug.

Is there a way to report this bug to Microsoft? Is there a solution? How can I revert to a previous version of Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center?

I suggest to perform a restore of the system to a restore point before the update.

You can also uninstall the keyboard and the mouse Center programs and features.

Then, go to this site and download the previous version.

(I couldn't find any previous version on Microsoft sites, but I checked the file hash values, I downloaded Microsoft previously).

  • USB mouse and keyboard suddenly stopped working

My USB connected Microsoft USB Bluetooth mouse and keyboard suddenly stopped working today. After researching everything I could, I didall that I could find as a possible solution that has been:

    • Update of the chipsets
    • Uninstalling usb in Device Manager and reboot devices
    • Updated via Device Manager, usb devices
    • Reformatting and reinstalling Windows 7
    • Stop, unplug and allow the card mother "reset".
    • Try multiple ports
    • There is no 'connect' button on my mouse so I can not sure try this
    • Replace the batteries in my mouse
    • Obviously both devices have been connected
    • Updated the software for the mouse

I have tried literally everything I could think of or read previously and I am out of options. Oddly enough however, after reformatting and reinstalling windows, my USB storage device is found and is working, but the keyboard and mouse are not. Please don't bother not suggest anything I listed above, I obviously already tried and found no chance.

    Update
I have solved my problem. For later use, if anyone has this problem and no other solution seems not work; That's what I did.

I bought a USB 2 ports PCI card and installed in my computer, then go back to Windows XP. While my original front and rear USB ports still recognize a flash drive, they do not recognize the keyboard or USB mouse, make ports PCI card. I had also updated ALL the updates of windows on the site, not the auto update available on the desktop. Although I don't know the cause, I am certain that somewhere, something was is altered by the hardware or software, and my default USB ports do not recognize mouse or keyboards.

Another piece of knowledge in case anyone is interested; I use a card mother gigabyte s-series and my nvidia video card GeForce previously is no longer recognized in the port, it would cause my computer go into a State of hibernation and the monitor would go into "Analog Power Saving Mode". The only solution was to spend a friend with my video card. (Its graphics card is a GeForce 9800 GTX, mine was a GeForce 9800 GT. No reason why it should make a difference.) According to me, even if my computer is less than two years old, I was sold a bad mother. I read online cases in other forums for technical support of people having the same problem. Gigabyte motherboards stop random ports for no known reason.
