How can I move the home button between the front and the address bar?
Her that I have my firefox put in place over the years is to place the buttons like this:
[Back] [Front] [Stop/Reload] [Home] [Progress Animation] [Address bar]
Now in FF29 I'm trying to move the home button between BackForward buttons and the address bar and it won't let me.
I thought that FF29 was supposed to be the most customizable Firefox yet? * confused *.
Is there a way to do it, am I missing something? Thank you
"I thought that FF29 was supposed to be the most customizable Firefox yet?
Who told you that was incorrect, as far as I'm concerned. Firefox is more customizable than the 'competition', but not as much as the previous versions were. The home button can be moved, but the back / button drop-down list is set to the address bar - they cannot be separated.
The combo Stop / Reload button is locked in the address bar.
The 'old' activity indicator has disappeared. Deemed unnecessary with the animation of loading on the left corner of each tab, where the favorite icon once the page is completely loaded.https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/how-to-make-new-Firefox-look-like-old-Firefox
Many users install the extension Classic theme restaurateur.
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
But I don't think it will turn out to be along term solution. As users begin to install other extensions, I think they're going to face compatibility issues where the new extension "expects" the user to use what Firefox is come with - not the 'retro' functions -

So, when I click on the Home icon at the top right of my Firefox page using my Center wheel, a new tab opens is more like
my home page. Now, nothing happens when I do this.
There is an extension or two or a combination of extensions that appear to be originally in Firefox 6.0.2. One that has been mentioned is TabMix Plus.

You need to understand what is the cause and disable this extension/s until they are fixed by their developer.

How can I move the bookmark icon to the left side of the screen in Firefox 8.0?
I am left handed and after all this time I've lost the favorite icon as the icon home page at the far right of the screen. Why have you done this, look like Windows Explorer? If I wanted IE8.0 I would have used. And the default search engine is Bing? At least there is a work around to change that. You have really made a mess of this exceptional product.
