  File size is determined mainly by only two factors - length and bitrate.  The used codec, resolution, frame rate, etc. all have little or no effect on the size of the file.

  Hello.  I am trying to create messages of public interest for You Tube initially created with a small device that produces Quicktime HD files.  For YouTube they do not have to be perfect, but that's what I'm working with.  My computer has only 4 GB of ram so I can't watch the video to test synchronization because it gives just a slide show when editing.  He never does anything, but a slide show with HD video.

  When I watch the original unedited Quicktime file synchronization was distant.  When I visited the original file in FLV and F4V formats, just to test the synchronization it is PERFECT.  Then I edited the first video from this session and FLV used and the timing was PERFECT.  So I do the second video synchronization, tested on the original film and its PERFECT.

  So I thought it was okay to continue.  Everything was perfect after that first made the raw images. The first video worked, right? Synchronization of the raw images of the second video has been fixed, right?

  Now that I spent all the time to edit the 2nd video, sync is TERRIBLE.  I have no idea why.  F4V was worse than FLV, but none are ideal for 2 video.  So I guess I have two questions:

  (1) what format should I use to upload to YouTube which does not give me a unusable timing problem

  (2) is there something I can do to see continuous synchronization in Premiere Pro CS4 without updating my equipment?  I use Vista 64 bit, 4 GB of ram, dual-core intel.  What I have to do a significant hardware upgrade just to get HD video do not make a slideshow during first execution?

  AVI file to the private mssg link... 1 gigabyte, takes about 30 min to DL - look and tell me if synchronization is better or worse you know... or the same thing... without you looking at this file and checking against your own there would be no way of KNOWING what (compared to what you met).

However, I noticed the title of "Doctor of connection" that the Exchange account seems to be duplicated by an account SMTP of the same name, which always fails to connect.

• DirectTCP and WAP2 mystery

  I'm trying different network transports.

  I have a server socket and server http which are accessible to the public.

  I can make a socket connection to my socket server using mds and wifi. In such cases, the url that I use are 1) deviceside = false (for mds) and 2) interface = wifi (for wireless). I can also make a http get request to my server http successfully.

  This is where my problem begins. I try to make a direct tcp and wap2 connection using a socket. For the url, I used 1) deviceside = true (for direct tcp); and (2) deviceside = true; ConnectionUID = trans WAP2 (wap2 - wap2 trans is derived using my service book).

  Connections did not work. The error I get is

  java.io.IOException: Timed out

  Second, I tried to play with the URL. For direct tcp, I added "deviceside=true;apn=wap.cingular;[email protected];tunnelauthpassword=CINGULAR1" which is what I have in my TCP settings.

  I still have the same error.

  java.io.IOException: Timed out

  Then I tried to put a fake apn information to see if apn info I put is really used. This time the error I get is different:

  java.io.IOException: Tunnel failed

  So I guess that my original apn is correct and used during the connection because I don't get a different error that the Tunnel did not.

  Mysteriously, when I tried to make http connections to my http server using direct tcp and wap2 using the same url (of course I used the http:// instead of socket: / /), and then I reached my http server successfully.

  Finally, I have a third part application who mysteriously work without wifi or bes. So I guess he can do direct tcp or wap2 connections on my phone (of course, except if it uses BIS - I dunno how to check without asking the third part of the writers of the app and without a tool like wireshark to monitor network traffic to see what happens).

  My phone is BlackBerry "BOLD". I use AT & T. I'm in California.

  The obvious place to find a problem here is the choice of the port of socket.  However, I assume that you have already done this.

  However I suggest you try mocking up an in the form of bytes http GET request and just send it via a socket connection to port 80 of your Web server.  Your web server responds with the target page.  This should work and will show that the problem is specific port.  If it doesn't work, then the problem is with the socket connection, but I don't see how this could be possible.

  If you want to publish or send me the URL associated to the WebService and taken, I'll use a BB test utility I have here to test with it, on the WAP and direct TCP.
