  I'm sorry to hear about your problem.  I suggest you to contact the vendor for assistance.  They should fix it without any problem.  If you bought through HP Store, you must contact the HP Customer Service.  You should not have problems with a 3 day old computer.  It will only get worse.

  Recently, I have problem with my computer 17 "hp laptop. There is a grinding noise coming from a place where the fan is fitted. The noise starts after a few minutes, I start the laptop.   The heatsink in the many books of HP is of inferior quality.  We know that this is not the cause of hard disk, you do not hear the noise as soon as you turn on the PC.  It is not the optical drive, because you do not run the DVD ROM.  The only other element is the radiator fan.  You must open Notepad and check for the appropriate placement of the radiator.  The fan must turn freely.  Repair or replace as needed.  Remove dusty rabbits that have accumulated over the years.

  It seems that this printer has developed an internal problem.  From the sounds of it, the issue is the release mechanism for the transport of the print head.

  There is a document to help out the noisy operation found printer here.  This can have a few extra steps for troubleshooting paper jam you have already done.

  I would also try re-allocation of places the duplexer if she appears out of alignment.  However, if the problem persists, then it will be a hardware problem that the next step is replacement of the product.

  So, I encountered a problem with this computer after updating the Web site of VIA HP driver. This update has been advised I did. It has also helped make my computer more efficient.   You would not keep driving your car if the brakes were made a squeak, right? I doubt that the software update had nothing to do with the fan noise. Just a coincidence. Try bow on a trombone. Stick to the fan to keep the spinning fan blades and blowing in compressed air and see if the dust flies. Sometimes this lead a fan and let it run better. If this does not work, you have to have the fan replaced; I'm sorry.

  I think my laptop is in trouble, the hard disk (or I think it's the hard drive) is do a lot of clicking noises and my battery life is running down when the adapter is connected. It seems that run down when the drive made those rattling.   Generally if the HARD drive makes clicking noises it s time to replace. Backup to an external drive has been a very good idea.

  Is there a solution? I can not even find what the problem... And tecnic store seems to not be able to solve either...

  I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion 15-b000 Sleekbook sizzling/buzzing noise. You can try:

  1. right click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your time.
  2. click on playback devices.
  3. click on the speakers.
  4. click on properties.
  5. click on the Advanced tab in the Properties window.
  6. change the default menu Format in the highest quality.
  7. apply properties.
  8. click OK to close the Properties window. Restart your laptop and try the sound.

  You can try to use theWindows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows.  Reboot the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed.

  I recommend to restore the default BIOS settings. You could restore the BIOS withthis document by selecting the reload the default BIOS settings. This helped other people.
