  Hello everyone, I have a question.

  I recently built an x 79 sys 3930 k, I bought an EVGA gtx 580 3 GB for the EMT PP... EVGA offers a step-up program for 90 days I can identify a better card. I just bought the card March 3, so I have a few more months. However, I walked in their for a step-up to the 680 2 GB gtx for the place in Cuda Cores... but because I've learned a few videos is Adobe After Effects will use all the VRAM (3 GB for my 580) and get a sorta performance increase? Can someone explain to me what I would be missing

  ranging up to 2 GB 3 GB of video memory... Can I cancel my Step Up and pull together again for 2 months more... to see if the EVGA offers the 4 GB, at that time version here. At that moment I would enter again them step up program and upgrade to the 680 4 GB gtx... because it is I pay only shipping (8.40) for jumping to the 680 2GB, 4 GB version might cost a little more ($50-100) what the devil do...   Difficult question right now. It depends on a number of things. What type of material edit you? If it includes RED 4 K or 5 K EPIC, I would certainly wait for version 4 GB, but if you do this regularly, or only in small amounts, then the 2 GB version may be sufficient. The 680 GTX of course has the advantage of being PCIe 3.0, which can be put to good use on your 2011 platform and is supported by three or four monitors, something can't make the 580. If the 680 will be faster than the 580 with 3 GB remains to be seen. CUDA cores has tripled, but the memory bus went from 384 to 256 bits, and unclear yet what impact that will have on performance.

  A second thing to consider is your destination AE, which you say will be heavy in the future. LLE done that After Effects can use several graphics processors for CUDA computation (for rendering 3D traced the beam engine) makes use of some sensible GPU configurations that may have been a waste for Premiere Pro.

  IMO, you have the following options, including the announced but not yet available version 4 GB of the 680:

  1 stick to the 580, but add a 560 Ti for AE and direction a third monitor.

  2. raise the 680 2 GB for the direction of a third monitor, but with the risk of running out of VRAM with RED material or EPIC and, hence, reduction only in software mode.

  3 raise the 680 4 GB for management a third monitor without risk of tipping in software mode.

  4. take a bet that the 685/690 with a 384 bits memory bus may be announced in the near future (unlikely).

• Problem with the Mercury playback engine?

  I have am using a the Gtx 560 TI Overclock edition. My problem is, when I turn on CS5.5, I can't choose to use material made video and playback, its gray (its software said on black) so I can't change it at all, im afraid all this time ive been using HD 2000 my i5-2400 for video editing. I don't have still done no editing hardcore, ripping the moment wasn't long but usually my video were only 5 6mins long and export was not bad at all too. So my Gtx works or it uses the video card in my procie? I tried the Hack when you open a file in adobe Premier to upgrade your GPU on the list, but did not know if it works. I typed in Geforece GTX 560 TI with OC and without did not work for end of mercury is still greyed out. I download the CUDA drivers now who could help.

• Problem with burning DVD DL

  Hello

  I have problems with burning double-layer DVDs in Encore.  I noticed another recent post - I don't know if this is the case http://forums.adobe.com/thread/827366?tstart=0.  Before you start buying and replacement of equipment, I thought I'd get tips here.

  The problem - my first burn contained several places where the video pauses when played on a DVD player.  To determine that the DVD drive is not faulty, I then played the disc in the DVD of PC burner and encountered the same problems.  I burned another disc of in yet and most of the problems have disappeared.  There are still places where to get a break.  It is likely that the DVD burner is unreliable or dying, or is there something a pc or a point of view that I should try?

  Some info:

  The original material was made in PrPro CS 5 without rendering quality max and without depth max.  CS 5, it is imported with the rate of 9.4 and transcoded with quality = high quality 7MB VBR 2 Pass and av NTSC setting flow max = 9.4mbps, rendering quality max, and and the mpeg-2 codec.

  Hardware - Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 1066 DDR2 RAM E6700, Nvidia GTX 480 with MPE hack,

  DVD burner - Plextor PX - 755 has.

  OS - Win 7/64

  Additional notes:

  I need to burn DL disks by starting again with admin rights.

  The problem does not occur with dvd discs single layer.

• Problems with El Capitan on iMac 27 "end 2013

  Hello. I had some problems with my end 2013 27 "iMac. The majority of my problems seems to be turning around not being able to wake from its slumber unless I hard boot the system. I am running the operating system more recent 10.11.3

  Sleep problems have started with my installation of El Capitan. I have reset the PRAM the SMC and have disabled the hibernation and Energy Saver preferences are set to never spin down hard drives or screen saver. Problem persists.

  I also experience unexpected freezes. When these occur usually, audio on my system continues (if listening to iTunes or in a video game, the audio keeps going) but there is no response from the mouse or the movement on the screen at all. key board does not respond and mouse is frozen. The last time I had it's happen I had a panic the kernel to reboot (see below for the report)

  I tried everything I can think of. I've scoured the forums on the internet for help and support. Im not sure if this is hardware or software related. I tried to unplug all of my devices - I have several hard drives USB and Thunderbolt. I have a second monitor connected via the bolt of lightning as well. This could be a video card problem?

  I have used the EtreCheck software and have gotten several things that make me wonder if it's the software however, it seems that somewhere I still have pieces of teamviewer lingering around, even if I had uninstalled the software and I can't find anything in the spotlight for her.   Some things I noticed - I had questions on shut down the system. My computer completely sometimes turns. I have to force quit the finder or the dock still will remain open and prevent the closing down. If this happens, then I need hard closed by pushing the power button until the device turns off. My system is INCREDIBLY slow sometimes since the upgrade as well at el capitan.

  I had a few problems with the big Adobe applications as well - sometimes illustrator or photoshop does any open or apps say they are open in the dock and in the force to quit smoking, but do not show in the activity monitor. In this case I have to restart my system for most work. force quit does not help them.

  Sorry for the long post, but I have worked on Macs since OS7 and even worked in an apple store genius bar for awhile so I generally know what I can do to fix these but I can't get it probably remain fixed. I thought better to have as much information as possible. My next step is to reload the entire OS, but I have a lot of work here that I'm afraid to lose (even though I have several back ups via time machine and other copies on external drives)

  1. You are going to need a bigger power supply.  I suggest that consider you a 600 watts as the Corsair CX600 model.
  2. NVIDIA GTX 580 is known to have problems. Do some internet research.

• GPU upgrade problem with M3985

  I try to put a GTX in the Aspire M3985 770 - I have improved the power supply to a 650w with no problems (computer works without the card, as well as the power supply), but when the card is put that I meet problems.

• 3D with GTX 650Ti graphics issue

  I have problems with the 3d graphics on my Dell XPS. This is very bad, there are several ghost images.  A ghost is red; a green; and maybe another.  It is not usable as is.   I use MS Flight Sim X, and Civilization IV & I installed Civ V.  They all have the same problem.

  I think the problem is with the drivers that were installed automatically on October 17, 2013. The computer has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti and 3d graphics were very well at that time.

  Under installed programs I see:

  Pilot 3D Vision NVIDIA - installed 17/10/2013 - 320.78 320.78 Version
  NVIDIA Graphics Driver 320.78 - installed 17/10/2013-320.78 Version
  Update NVIDIA 1.14.17 - installed 17/10/2013-1.14.17 Version

  When I go to the NVIDIA website, they do not list the GTX 650 it in hardware for the 320,78 drivers. Would it be these auto-installe by mistake?   If so, what is the procedure to remove and install the correct software? If not, what other information do you need to solve the problem.

  Solved:, it looks that the incorrect drivers were installed on the update to windows 8.1.   I used the driver on Dell.com selection tool to find the correct drivers.  Installed to v326.60 (the above note is 320.78) and problem solved!

• CHKDSK still holding after problems with the PC

  Here's the situation. I turned on my pc and after like 5 minutes the screen says "no signal", I restarted my pc and the same thing happened after about 5 minutes. restarted again, then my screen froze, the audio from a youtube video was stuck and kept in a loop and then no signal again. I then tried to run the CHKDSK option. everything was fine, but now I'm stuck on a page that repeat a 'file', and then a file number (which went from 0 to 280 thousand now). a branch line to the terms that it says 'invalid security is replaced by a default security of the ID' (it is not in English so I tried to translate as much as I can).

  It has been like that for about 6 hours and I Googled it may take up to days that I can't really afford, should fly in 2 days.

• Dual monitor boot problem with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit after installation of any graphics program like a game.

  I have built this platform with the help of the owner of a store of 4 cumputer teir 2 years ago. We initially put Windows Vista 32 bit on the system to Vista 64 bit unstable atm. For 2 years, the computer worked like a dream. Last week I made a clean wipe of windows vista and windows 7 professional 64-bit installed. The system has two monitors. The primary monitor is a sony bravia with 26 "led and secondary for watching movies is that a 55 '' led Samsung 1080 p 240 Hz. The graphics card is a geforce GTX 295 nividia. It has 12 GB of Ram and the CPU is an i7 965 @3.20.

  The problem I have is this. After the installation of any game average to work with windows 7, the screens to reset their resolutions automatically more than a few times as they are confused. Sometimes, I have to return the screen to its correct resolution after installation in full. Most of the games and then run fine. After installing the game or any game designed for win 7 startup of computers is all messed up for the monitors.   It sounds almost as if there is a Windows update that is in conflict with your NVIDIA Driver Installer.  I would say to disable automatic updates of Windows to see if it might help:
