MS Word 2010 and BI publisher

BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.1 is supposed to be able to work with MS Word 2010. I get an error that macros are not enabled that others had referred and then tried to return to Word 2007. Is there an update or the fix available to work with Word 2010?

I have worked with RTF model using 2010, the only problem so far, I've met is in the Alt for Images text as Word 2010 prefaced the statement url with Description: or title: The solution is to re - edit the document in version 2007 and save.

Kind regards

  • change suddenly in the front and back with Word 2010 and JO 8600 Pro printer

I have been successfully using Word 2010 and my Officejet Pro 8600 - to set duplexing if necessary.

I used printing without margins to print 8.5 X 11 brochure and was happy with the result (no white space on both sides).

However, this somehow messed up the original settings and I am unable to print in duplex mode now. The only option is "manually print on Both Sides.

Sunshyn, I can still double-sided of MS Word my other printer... I have a Canon laser as well.

    I have Windows.

I think I have the solution... I couldn't change the settings of the print window. But I did enter the printer via the control panel and found the same parameters, but also found the apply"" button. Then I "applied" my desired settings and things are fine.

However, it is a little confusing because he wasn't the "Apply settings" button in the menu printing, so wouldn't change.

Now I know that go through the menu of the printer, the print document settings.

  • I want to reset my computer to factoery settings, but I don't want to delete McAfee anitvirus and Microsoft word 2010?

I have windows vista and I recently bought a new antivirus and I also bought Microsoft Word 2010 and I want to reset my computer without deleting those?
    Any help please?

    Hello HectorRodriguez_977,

Reset to factory wipes the hard clean of EVERYTHING.

You need to reinstall your Antivirus, and Microsoft Word 2010 from the original media.

This applied to ALL programs that you have installed since your computer was new.

And back up ALL your data: pictures, music, Documents, etc., or you will lose them, too.

  • Word 2010 - Mapi error - when trying to record and send a document as an attachment

Just recently, after finally getting WLM2011 to at least send an email without crashing, I started now to experience a problem with sending documents as attachments from Word 2010.

    Here's the Windows Help:

This error can occur if you try to send a Word document as an attachment in Word and the MAPI session was closed and Word is no longer able to connect to that MAPI session. It can also occur if there is a problem with the fax configuration.

To correct a MAPI to error: restart the MAPI e-mail program (for example, Outlook) or save and close the document, and then restart Word after restarting your MAPI e-mail application. Word will create a new MAPI session, allowing the document to send.

To fix a problem with the fax configuration, check the configuration of your fax software settings, and then make the appropriate changes.

Unfortunately, if the WLM is open or closed, the problem persists in Word 2010.  I repaired Word 2010 and repaired WLM several times and the MAPI error is not resolved.

Is this something in my control panel > default program settings? perhaps.

It is a chronic problem which has many causes and solutions almost as much. Boredom is often caused by Outlook the musculature to be the default program wherever possible. Different versions of Office do things differently, too. This is a good way to kick off:

    1. Type regedit in the start search box and press enter. Give permission if necessary.
    2. In the left pane, find the key called
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail
      and click on Mail.
    3. In the right pane, double-click (default). In the dialog that opens, turn off what's there, Windows Live Mail and click on OK.
    4. In the left pane, click the subkey called Windows Live Mail
      (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Windows live mail)
    5. In the right pane, look for DLLPath in the name column.
      If she's not here,

      1. Right-click on an empty part of the right pane, and then select New > string value
      2. Type DLLPath to name the new value and press enter
      3. Double-click DLLPath and in the box that opens, type carefully
        C:\Program Files (x 86) \Windows Live\Mail\smapi.dll
If yours is a 64-bit computer, or
        C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Mail\smapi.dll
        If it is 32-bit.
        Click OK
      4. If it is, skip 5.1 and 5.2 and go 5.3
    6. Repeat 5, but this time with DLLPathEx

You should end up with something like this:

Close the registry editor, restart your computer and test the functions you were missing.

  • Acrobat DC more bad results of the marking of Word 2010

Does using Acrobat DC and Word 2010 usually produced marking poor results? Everything gets the tag, but 95% of the labels are incorrect and role mapping is in every sense (title 1 title [final paragraph, text body mapped to title 2, etc.). Fortunately, lists and tables come out well. The results were not significantly different between a Word well formatted, built from a solid model structure or file Word a bit chaotic, riddled with direct formatting.

I am relatively new to mark the PDF files for accessibility, and I wonder if I would get better results by using Word 2010 with Acrobat X or XI or Word 2013 2016 with Acrobat DC. My goal is to have structured accessible PDF files without the need of treatment of syndrome of carpal for my hands.

Yikes! Certainly worth a try a newer version of Word to see if you get the best results, although I use Word 2010 and 2015 and have not noticed a huge difference. A rate of 20% on average, cleaning is a reasonable expectation, IMHO.

  • How to keep the correct margins/page size when you convert a Word 2010 PDF document?

I searched the Internet far and wide in order to understand why, when converting a Word 2010 document in PDF format in Windows 7 (via Adobe Distiller 9.5.5316), the top and bottom of the resulting PDF margins are automatically increased (which reduces the content on the page a bit) despite having consistently and everywhere the value paper A4 in Word 2010 and Adobe default PDF settings. It's almost as if distilling is stubbornly scaling the document to a different page size any of the parameters are specified.

I solved this problem in previous versions by simply unchecking scaling print in Microsoft Word or distill. "In Word 2010, do you this through: file-> Options-> advanced, and then clear the paper sizes 'Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11' setting ' in the Print section.

Today it is not so simple. I suspect that there is some chipping page or by default will sizing on but where and how to change it?

I have to say that the years of updates Adobe seems to have two different products Adobe for creating files PDF. the above mentioned distill as long as Adobe Acrobat Pro Extended-(v. 9.5.5). However, they use the same default settings of PDF from Adobe by specifying the format of A4 paper.

I think I have seen/inspected all of the parameters available to specify page sizes and scale - Adobe used to provide the add-in PDFMaker for Word, which manifested itself in a Word called "Acrobat" tab, and, we could see PDF settings, but this tab disappeared for a long time with a previous update to Acrobat. I tried to make this tab reappear in Word, but nothing helped.

I also confirmed the size settings for correct page for Brother printers both Adobe in the dialog Windows 7 "devices and printers".

The stones left to chance? Thank you.

Print scale is always an option in Acrobat. Adobe continue to change the name. Look closely. Looking for options like "fit to page".

  • Images placed behind text in Word 2010 are proposed to cover the text after conversion to PDF.

    System Specs:

Windows 7, Word 2010, Acrobat XI

I've highlighted several paragraphs thoughout the book I write by placing an image behind them. These images are set to display behind the text, leaving the readable text. So the image offers a sort of background for these select paragraphs.

They look great in Word 2010.

And the PDF looks a lot when I exported from Word 2007 using Acrobat 9 (at least I think it was 9...).

But now, when I convert it to PDF using Word 2010 and Acrobat XI, the image is moved in front of the text; obscuring her completely.

We never saw it? Any suggestions?

EDIT - to be clear, I do the conversion using the PDF what acrobat tools puts in Word when it is installed.

Here's how Adobe level 2 support 'resolved' for us: uninstall all instances of Acrobat on your system. If you have another version of Acrobat (if reader, Standard or Pro) installed, purge your system of all the tips of it in the Program Files folders and clean the registry of all guides in Acrobat. In my case, I use Adobe Application Manager because I now have CS6 installed, so installed Acrobat XI of MAO by clicking on "Try". It is installed and then I installed 11.0.1 update and then activated using my product key. I really think that the problem was that I didn't install PDF Maker during the original installation, because it was such a slug and buggy to who. When I installed by the above, I had not given the choice, so now I have Acrobat or Adobe tabs on all my Office applications, oh joy. But printing to PDF works as it should. As I was directed by rein through most of the above, I have no idea what has been really effective on the above. I tried to just uninstall Acrobat and resettlement on a system on which no other version of Acrobat had already been installed, but on which install the original XI of Acrobat didn't understand the PDF Maker and who had the symptoms of printing of this thread. This doesn't solve the problem, but do the relevant parts of the steps I have indicated above, did the trick. I have 20 users with XI Acrobat installed; Some have this symptom, some don't. I have not analyzed to see what is the common point, but this problem and its solution still seems very rickety for me.

  • 477dw Pagewide Pro MFP: MFP Pro Pagewide 477dw tries to print to tray 2 documents and envelopes for Tray1 in word 2010

Set up the new printer and printing from Word 2010
Printing documents to default tray 2 works fine, but when you try to print an envelope in Tray 1 it always says that we must put the envelopes in tray 2 even if in the shortcuts in printing preferences, we have selected 1, tray with envelopes, for this document.
Also tried auto select paper source and no change.

What would be ideal, that's what we had with our old HP printer where you click on print and it went to the default (tray 2) Letter/A4 paper tray, but if you put something in the manual feeder (Tray 1) it would print automatically on this site until he missed and then switch back to the main tray (tray 2).

Pulling my hair out over the new printer so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    BTW.
Tried to file a case of pension, put in the serial number and it says this product not supported by this site, click here to go to HP enterprise.  Tried to submit a case of pension to enterpise and got the same message pointing me back the first page, so just round in circles, I can still apply for assistance.

    Hello

I understand that you are having trouble with printing to different trays on a PageWide Pro printer. I want to help you with this. There are two pieces to this puzzle - the printer settings & settings on the computer (in an additional post, I'll add more details)

PageWide Pro has the ability to support your ideal scenario.

What would be ideal is what we had with our old HP printer where you hit print and it went to the default letter/A4 paper tray (tray 2) but if you put something in the manual feed (tray 1) it would print automatically on that instead until it ran out and then switch back to the main tray (tray 2).

    The printer settings

    • Tray 1 set to any size and any Type
    • Configure tray 2 (+ other trays) to the paper size and type in the status bar
      • Configure the status bar by opening / closing the tray and using the size/Type prompt - provided it clears any existing stored measured value.
    • Manual feed set to OFF (manual feed replaces the Printer Auto Select Paper Source setting) (not a factor based on your description)

    Driver settings

    • The important thing is that your print job is sent using the configuration of driver Paper Source>printer Auto Select.
    • Make sure that paper in the word document settings match the status bar settings previously configured on the printer

At the beginning of the print job, if the media is present in the Tray 1 (Any/Any value) and the print job is sent "Printer Auto Select", tray 1 we'll pick first until the media runs. (The printer will assume that you have placed media in Tray 1 which corresponds to printing)

However, if the media is placed in the Tray 1 in the middle of a printer Auto Select print job, media will be very probably not selected. It is important to maintain the consistency of the size of the print media & type.

    Kind regards

  • I have a Flash drive with Word 2003 documents and my computer has now Word 2010, how to change these documents to Word 2010?

I need to change from Word 2003 to Word 2010 documents located on a flash drive. Not very computer savvy!

    Hello

You can follow the steps and then check.

Step 1, Open the Word file.

Step 2, Press Office button at the top left, go in record under and choose Word 97-2003 Document.

Step 3, enter a new name in the file name field, or simply use the same name in the original .doc file.

Step 4 click Save to convert doc to docx, in seconds, the file will be viewed in the format .docx as soon as the conversion from Word 2003 to Word 2010.

If the problem exists, you can ask your question in the forums Office to improve assistance in this regard.

    Suggestions:

1 do a system restore. Choice of date where you did NOT have this problem as your restore point.
Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

2 use this tutorial and rebuild your cache of icons: use Option. Easier.

  • Windows 7 Excel and Word 2010 jump lists appear only not on the Start Menu

    Hello

I would like to apologize if this is in the wrong section... I got here by looking at another thread, which ultimately does not solve my problem. I read the same solutions on dozens of different threads and not one has done something to help, so I thought I'd try to ask once again, indicating that I have tried and see if anyone has any other ideas!
... I also like to apologize if "jump list" is the wrong term. I mean, it is when I click on my Start Menu, and "Microsoft Word/Excel 2010" icon is the small arrow on the side right does not allow me to click everywhere for what files I recently consulted on Word. I have exactly the same problem in Excel 2010, but No problem at all for Powerpoint 2010 and it seems that programs such as Notepad and so forth are very well as well.
    What I did:
    1. right click on 'Taskbar', click 'Properties', select the "Start Menu" tab, under "Privacy", I checked the boxes ("Store and display recently opened programs in the start menu" and "Store and display recently opened items in the start menu and the taskbar").
Make a right-click on 'Taskbar'-> properties-> select Menu-> customize-> items recent fact make it appear a list but less it is tab and not attached to the application (which is what I want to xD).
My original problem was that the list of recent items for Word has not been updated and it was stuck on what he was about 3 months - which eventually prove needless after I lived my computer and deleted, renamed and moved a bunch of word documents! Unchecking the boxes got rid of the arrow completely, and when I checked hide them he refused to reappear for Word and Excel.
    2. I was at '% AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations' all files deleted from here and restarted my computer - ' 1b4dd67f29cb1962.automaticDestinations - ms' seem to be for the word, and I think that ' 3d961d1bb3da929c.automaticDestinations - ms' are to Excel. I have them I deleted, I moved it out of the folder, I renamed them, I sang for them, etc. etc. and every time it did not work.
This seems to be a really popular solution that works for most of the time everybody... it does not work for me!
I've also been to '% ' AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations and deleted everything from there.
    3. I checked that related to open different file extensions in Excel and Word programs are associated with Excel and Word. Everything seems to be strong in that Department.
I use Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and fight with versions of Word and Excel 2010!
Then... I don't think anyone has any other ideas?
    Thank you in advance!

I emptied two recent used folders but did not work.   Then I fixed my office installation to add/remove programs in the control panel and that did the trick.  I have office 2007 and 2010 installed, but make sure that I only use 2010.  Will probably uninstall 2007.
