Hi, kiran. Glad to see that it works. To assign points, you must go to the line items and top right indicate the 'proper' and 'useful '; otherwise, no points are awarded. Thank you.

    Hi all

Or the name of the table, for example

The bottom line is that * must be qualified (with a table name or alias) when the SELECT clause includes anything else besides *.

  • Table multi-selection disabled the check boxes in ADF 10 g

I think I met an obstacle when you work with a multi-selection table in 10 ADF.

The selection itself works very well. However, my problem is to try to disable some of these boxes several selections. These boxes are disabled using the expression language. Once disabled, I can always choose these rows in the table using the button 'Select all' created by multiple selection facet. On the page sent, the disabled lines are not recognized as being selected, which is good. However, they always seem to be selected on the front-end server, which would be confusing for users.

So as you can see, the disabled check box has been selected even when disabled. Any ideas on how to change this behavior? Or maybe just get rid of the default generated 'select all ' | 'Select none' orders?

Or, remove selection facet and make sure you have a selection logic - that is to say, some transient Boolean attribute of VO enabled/disabled state, and you have Select All/Select none

  • Fast gray select in the color picker?

Am I missing something? I preferred the older version of the color picker to muse - how to drag a single color dial to quickly set a new gray? It seems that the only way to select different gray is to enter numbers (IE 20, 20, 20). To the other Adobe programs that you can hold SHIFT (sometimes) but not in Muse. It feels like I'm missing something really simple here. Any help is appreciated.

PS. setting transparency is not a good work around.

Switch panel RGB color, TSL and you have a gray ramp.

  • SELECT where the column is NULL or a number

    Hello

I am trying to use a query that the WHERE clause contains a column that can be NULL or a number. If it contains a number, I want to select the rows that contain the numerical value for this column; Otherwise, the rows that contain NULL for this column, as shown here:

    SELECT col_1,
    col_2,
    etc...
    OF CN_BGT_ENTRIES
    WHERE grnt_id = p_grnt_id

    AND subbgt_nbr = (SELECT MAX (subbgt_nbr) FROM CN_BGT_ENTRIES WHERE grnt_id = p_grnt_id);

    in the opposite case

    AND subbgt_nbr is null;

My strategy has been to create a cursor, EXTRACT the max value in l_subbgt_max and then use a BOX of the form:

    SELECT col_1,
    col_2,
    etc...
    OF CN_BGT_ENTRIES
    WHERE grnt_id = p_grnt_id
    AND (CASE
WHEN l_subbgt_max IS NULL THEN ' subbgt_nbr IS NULL; "
    ELSE ' subbgt_nbr = l_subbgt_max; »
    (END);

I tried every syntax since I can think of (for example, CASE NVL(l_subbgt_max,0) = 0) but continues to receive:

    PL/SQL: ORA-00920: invalid relational operator
    ORA-06550: line 13, column 3:
    PL/SQL: SQL statement ignored

I know that I can DECLARE 2 sliders and then use a conditional to run one or the other, but in the interest of the growth and written some thing a little more sophisticated, I was hoping that someone with more experience SQL could tell me how [s] he would do this.

Thanks in advance for your time.

    I guess that l_subbgt_nbr is a variable?

In any case, something like this:

    SELECT col_1,
    col_2,
    etc ...
    FROM CN_BGT_ENTRIES
    WHERE grnt_id = p_grnt_id
    AND ( ( l_subbgt_nbr is null and subbgt_nbr is null )
              OR ( l_subbgt_nbr is not null and subbgt_nbr = (SELECT MAX(subbgt_nbr)
                                                            FROM CN_BGT_ENTRIES
                                                            WHERE grnt_id = p_grnt_id)
                    )
               );

    Hello

I have a report with 4 columns, 'Year', 'Demand amount', 'Amount of the purchase order' and 'invoice amount.

The user want to select "Amount of demand", "The purchase order amount" or "Invoice amount" in the drop down menu from the drop in the Oracle replies

In other words, he wants to see only the year and "amount of demand."
year or "amount in the purchase order.
year or "amount of the invoice.

How can I do? I already search column, select but did not understand. Please tell me in detail.

    Thank you

    Hello user.

I advise to use the column picker in the responses.

    (1) build your table (or any other point of view) a year and the amount of the claim.
    (2) then create a view by using the choice of mode 'column selector.
    (3) check the checkbox 'Include the selector' for your column 'amount of demand. "
    (4) add the other two columns in the selection pane. Your view should look like the image below:

    5) go to your compound view and add your views 'column selector.

You should now be able to Exchange "Amount of demand", "The purchase order amount" and "Amount of the invoice" using the column Chooser, and your other points of view should replace columns that you select.

I hope this helps and please assign points if you found it useful!

  • column headings in the column Chooser

Is it possible to change the headers of column (from the names of columns by default) when they are part of the column selector?

    Thank you

    Hello

    The name change is simple...

Say you, column A, column B, column C
as the columns in the column picker.

Include the column Chooser in the compound layout.

Now select 'Column A' in the column picker in the compound layout,
Then, goto and change column crieteria A-> column 1

Now go to the compound layout,
Select "Column B" in the column picker in the compound layout,
    Then, goto and change column-column 2 > B crieteria

Once again go to made available,
Select 'Column C' in the column picker in the compound layout,
Then, goto crieteria and change C-> column 3 column

Simply select the corresponding value in the selector column (in the compound layout), to rename this column in the crieteria

    Hope its clear.

    Kind regards

  • Problem in drop-down list in the column Selector?

    Hi friends...
I use the view selector to column for the first time in OBIEE.
    I have this problem:

    (1) even if I chose the columns in the left pane, my drop-down list is not filled with the corresponding values? Please let me now how to fill the drop down in the column picker.
    (2) I have a column count that has almost 1000 enteries of integers ranging from 1 to 500. I put only 5 values in my County of drop down (like the 50, 100, 200, 250, 500) that actually filters the column number as (less than these values). Suppose that user select 50 so it will filter the report less a 50-count indictment.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Toony,

for your second question... I don't know where you want to display these values if variable County presentation or somewhere else... ??
Anyway, if it's in the guests... then follow these steps

    For column filter prompts:
Select this particular column and create the bins on that particular column so that these 5 values and give the same name for this particular... as value...
for 50--> 50 as display name
for 100--> 100 name allow... like wise for the user to understand...
Now create the same column guest on this particular column... and moving forward

    Variable application:
In the variable of the presentation, select display , select the SQL... (some thing like this option, I don't remember exactly what it is... but using this, we can write the SQL code to display the values in the drop-down list)
There, you write the following SQL code SELECT columnname FROM SubjectAreaName WHERE ColumnName IN (50, 100, 200, 250, 500)
As we filter the values of column to contain only the values that we mentioned...

It can helful for you, if it's not... Sorry for wasting your valuable time

    Thank you & best regards

  • the column filtering to condition

Hi, I want to be able to select a few columns based on a key. for example, if my key is "FA" then I want my columns of FA to those returned and PG not even if PG columns are also reported. Here's the idea:
    table1
    id  key  val
    FA  1  5th Ave
    FA  2  NY
    FA  25  UserFA
    PG  7  9th road
    PG  11 MIA
PG  12 I don't need this column display
    PG  25 UserPG
    ... and the following query:
    select max(decode(key,'25',val)) as name
, CASE when id = 'FA' THEN max(decode(key,'1',val)) END as  address
, CASE when id = 'FA' THEN max(decode(key,'2',val)) END as  city
, CASE when id = 'PG' THEN max(decode(key,'7',val)) END as  address
, CASE when id = 'PG' THEN max(decode(key,'11',val)) END as  city
    from table1
    where id = <x>
    group by id;
So I expect an output as follows if I put id = "f":
    name   address   city
    UserFa  5th Ave  NY
as you can guess this survey one
    ORA-00918: column ambiguously defined
because I 'as address' and 'the city' twice, renaming each one differently probably not an option because the output of this past somewhere else who is looking for these keys. So my question is... How can I re - write this to be able to select only the columns for FA if id = FA and columns for PG if id is PG? instead of select all and causing all this conflict? I have about 20 to 30 ID, I display only 2... so keep that in mind when you change this, because even in remaming the selct identifier selects all columns, including those that are different from the selected Id.

Please let me know if it needs to be clarified,

    Thank you

A select statement must give one set of columns for all rows, so you can not dynamically choose columns based on the key, but you can leave some null based on the key.
I think your questioning of the base is narrow--just combine all expressions address into a single statement, all the expressions of the city into a single statement etc. :

    select max(decode(key,'25',val)) as name
, CASE when id = 'FA' THEN max(decode(key,'1',val))
when id = 'PG' THEN max(decode(key,'7',val)) END as address
, CASE when id = 'FA' THEN max(decode(key,'2',val))
when id = 'PG' THEN max(decode(key,'11',val)) END as city
    from table1
    where id =
    group by id;

    Kind regards

  • Flex 3 - selection of configurable columns for AdvancedDataGrid

    Hello

I am currently working on the creation of a mechanism by which users select what columns on ADG data should be displayed. I'm currently pulling all the underlying columns in Flex, but wish to provide additional functionality for the end user to select only the columns that are of interest.

You want to display these columns in the IR?

In the affirmative. Select the column you want to display, and then click on the the ' > '.
In the interactive report regions - source, where you have your query to select columns use to rank them by order of the Association.

You want to keep these columns as "do not display" and make them in the Association order it?

    All,
Is there a way to prevent the behavior when viewing a PivotTable and using a Mult. Select guest, choosing mult. values and each pivot has all THE column values for all THE pivots on the screen?

For example, lets say we had the following in the pivot:
    Column: STATE
    Line: PRODUCT
and we had a Mult. Select a prompt on the REGION - East, West, Central, West

If I've chosen is in the prompt, I get all the States of the REGION of the East for the first values.
If I choose the East and the West in the prompt, I get a pivot showing amounts East and Southeastern States in the Western States AND top (no value, of course) at the top. I also have an another pivot below showing the amounts of the West and Western States, AND the Northeastern States (no values for the Eastern States).

In other words, all States that are in the mult. REGION show selected in each pivot.

    Thank you.
