  I have a problem with my Satellite M70-151. bunch of old hard drive (100 GB Hitachi) reached the Windows XP screen then just ends with a blue screen a turn off laptop, immediately. I had to restore my data with an application file-rescue of another PC. It was not possible to start from old hard drive yet.

  Then I bought a Western Digital SATA II 250 GB hard drive that put my Windows XP CD in DVD player installed and tried to start. The laptop turns off as soon as the laptop computer tried to access the HARD disk.
  Thought, it was question of SATA II disk and tried a Samsung 160 GB Sata I - same result.

  BIOS recognizes the correct drives.

  If I try to boot from old hard drive, it shows the issue I mentioned first, but as before it reaches the Windows XP Boot screen before moving on to the blue screen before turning off the laptop. So start goes further than the boot with new hard drives

  The Windows XP CD I used is not the restore CD that came with the laptop, but a normal license.

  The heat is not a problem, I cleaned the CPU fan there is enough space to breathe the cold air mobile, the temperature is ok.

  This behavior is very strange. I have some old Satellite M70-159 with 100 GB HARD drive. I also tested how it will work with a 250 GB HARD drive and all is well.
  On two drives, I have installed WXP using the Toshiba recovery image.

  You can download the driver on the Toshiba site. Therefore, check the link you suggested and look for your model of laptop. As far as I know Satellite M70 151 belongs to the series of PSM71E, to look for with these elements:

  Laptop > Satellite > Satellite M Series > Satellite M70 (PSM71)

  Download the driver and run the setup.exe file.

• The right side on Satellite M70 151 is very hot

  I bought a Satellite M70-151 (17 March 2006). It's a very good computer but I have a problem: after about 10 minutes (depending on the application) the part of the right of the label «Designed to...» "and especially the portable speaker becomes hot enough. So hot that the left hand starts to the sweltering heat and work with the laptop is very clumsy. It's hotter than directly above the truck on the right side.   All the multimedia keys are designed to work with Microsoft Media Player and not for use with other media players. Install a few plugins for Winamp. Please see this section on Winamp on Toshiba laptops.

• Equium U400-124 easy / multimedia keys stopped working

  I recently discovered that the easy keys (soft touch multimedia keys) have stopped working. I've had this laptop for a month and then one day, they stopped resonding they set only occasionally when in a hurry and do not function they are supposed to work.
