Hello

Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.

Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil
eraser (do not use this, if your battery is fine slots - just clean up the edges of the knife which fit in)
them and be careful). Batteries are old, or it could be a problem with the computer.
Check with the support of the machine system, and many of them have on line forums.

New Lithium-Ion type battery usually last longer if you do not unload then less than 30%
However on a laptop that not extend their life a lot. Best is to use the a/c adapter

  • Motorcycle battery drain 360 while on the charging cradle

Everyone knows the same? Since the last update, I was unable to load my bike 360 while it is on the cradle. Some days, I'll come home with about 35% battery life left, but in the morning, I find that it actually drains. I woke up with battery having dropped to 1%. While watching on the cradle, I actually saw the percentage decline.

It's only later on that I realized it is empty because it is still connected to my phone (which never used to happen). If I disconnect the phone from the watch, that it charges on the cradle normally.

I really don't want to have to manually disconnect my phone the watch every night, and then reconnect it back every morning.

Sorry for the late update. I thought that I would say that I found the which has been the cause: a renegade app ironically designed to track the bike 360 battery statistics. I noticed that after that the app has been updated, the question no longer appears. The device is always hot sometimes when we recharge but will still charge.

    Thank you, everyone, for help!

  • Tecra R850, battery "plugged in, not charging".

    Hello
I'd appreciate some thoughts on the problem.

    The problem:
The battery is not charged. The icon in the status bar indicates that the battery is "connected" but that it is 'not charging' and 'remember to change your battery.
    Something similar to:
    https://BD23.HTTPS.CDN.SoftLayer.NET/80BD23/142.4.51.106/images/consider-replacing-your-battery.PNG
In addition, the battery charge indicator is off

    What happened:
I was using the computer on battery power. During use, the message appeared that the battery is critical 3% and computer suddenly stop (or went to sleep/hibernate). It is possible that the battery was empty, since I was not charged for 2 days. Which was weird, is that I do not have the message that the battery is at 7%, which is normal warning that I get.
The next day, I plugged the computer power cord started. At the start, computer called I want to boot into 'Safe Mode' or 'Normal '. I selected 'Normal '.
Then I noticed the problem described above.

    History:
Nothing in particular. Notebook is less than 2 years old. Battery was at six, now has dropped to about 4 hours, but had no previous problems. No power surge, does not drop the computer, etc...

    Comments:
-L' computer works without battery, only on the power cable.
-L' computer does not react if I put only the battery, without the cable, even if it is said that the battery has 9 percent. (he says there are 3% before the initial stop, however)
-When I plug in the power cable, the battery charge indicator is on for 2-3 seconds (in orange) and then is off. This happens whenever I take the cable out, then in.
-What is strange, is that every time when I disable networks wireless/mobile using "Flash Cards" and restart the computer, they are 'on '. Previously, this situation will only occur when the computer crashed, or I made him stop (holding the power button)
-J' tried what was suggested on the forums of Toshiba:

    * 1
§Remove cable power, battery, clean contacts, put everything back in place
§Leave to load a few hours
-> Indicator battery charge was not on a few hours after the

    * 2
    §Remove battery, start the computer
    §Go to the "Device Manager".
§Uninstall method to control compatible ACPI Microsoft battery
    Computer §restart
    § ACPI Microsoft settle again
    Computer §shutdown
    §Put battery, start the computer
-> No change, still do not charge, indicator is not lit

    * 3
Also have interpreted 'Factory reset '.
§Apres recovery and restart, there is no change
§Cela time, when I turn off the networks wireless/mobile using 'Flash Cards', they remain "off" even when I reboot a computer, which was not the case prior to 'Factory reset '.
§However, if I take the feeder and then place it in (while the computer is turned off) and then start the computer, wireless/mobile networks are once again 'on '.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you
    Miodrag

  • Battery not charging on Hp dv7 (plugged in, not supported)

Hello. I have a laptop Dv7-1250es. Yesterday, I needed to be on it and I forgot my charger at home, and I used a friend, who has a Dell laptop (the charger has a little more tension, but I thought it would work). Plugged in, turned on the laptop, and when he was about to hit the office, he violently stops, so I did not try to turn it back on again.

Then, when I got home, I plugged my charger and the laptop works, but the battery won't charge. I tried several things, such as uninstalling the driver on the Control Panel, or clean the contacts, but the battery icon still says "plugged in, do not load (0%).» If I plug in the power adapter, the laptop stops, if battery does not charge.

I also downloaded HP Battery Check, and he says that the battery is Ok, but then, below, it says "status: Unknown.  Could it be the circuitry of interal, that something is fried inside?

I tried the old motherboard with the new single DC power Jack and plug the battery on the Board of Directors. Result? Always flashing and the battery does not charge. So, my final feeling is that the battery is dead. It cannot be anything else. I'll buy a new one then.

  • I think I might need a new battery but not sure.

I have an Acer Aspire AOA 150, ZG5, outside the warranty and the battery continues to fall.

It is now at 30%, but the charger does not seem to load.

I'm sure that the charger is ok since I measured it and it sees 5V +/-

In addition, I tried another charger with no luck.

Also, the Acer is supposed to work without the battery but plugged the AC?

    Mine does not turn.

    Help! and thank you

I know that laptops vary input but all my little Acer netbooks matter required the charger model having an output of 19v... are you certain that your charger gives the correct voltage?

I believe that your netbook should be able to work with just the charger directly enter the laptop without the battery in.

    Original title: laptop battery

recently, I replaced my laptop battery, why it wont work without having the charger NVI

  • question about the battery of the laptop when you do not use

    Hello

I see that if you take the battery laptop out when you are not using and you're wotking with adapter suply, it wil extend the life of the battery.

But what if I do not use this battery for several days and I put it away wil he unload his omnipotence?

    Thank you

    Johan

    Hi Johan,.

I don't think that it helps extend the life of the battery if remove you it from the laptop. It will also pay power when you are not using it.  For more information on the functioning of the battery, I would say that you see the battery user guide provided by the manufacturer of your laptop.

Hope this information helps. If you have any other questions, we will be happy to help you.

  • I replace my battery but I can't seem to get it slowed down what should I do to solve this problem

I have replace the battery of mt on the laptop, but it does not load when I checked the battery put in said that the battery is slowed down what should I do to solve this problem

    Hello

-What is the number of brand and model of the computer?

It is sometimes difficult to determine whether a problem is caused by the equipment do not operate according to the manufacturer's specifications. But in the case of power - and more specifically a battery - it works or not.  If a battery is not that it is either a defective battery or a faulty charger.

I suggest to check the connections, connect it properly.  If you have a spare power adapter only to login and check. Contact the manufacturer of the computer for better assistance.

    For your reference:

    ·         When you turn on your laptop, if your battery is more than 95%, you will get the message "connected but no charging current.

    ·         When you turn on your laptop, if your battery is less than 95%, you will see the message "plugged and charge" until the battery reaches 100% (not 95%).

    It will be useful.

  • Mini net book (Atom) it requires a good battery to run, or will operate on the charger alone?

    Hello

I have a netbook HP Mini (Atom chip), Win 7 Starter o/s, 1 G of Ram and 40 G HDD. About 2 years ago.

Has started to receive messages from "Battery fault", and battery life is down to zilch. PC then 'death '. No light when loading white

and same thing with a new charger.

My question is, this netbook requires a stack of work put in place for this to operate, or it will work also without the battery

    and running on the charger?

Is it just a case of having to go buy a new battery, to make this function of netbook? Or is this a sign of a more severe "failure"

    somewhere?

    Thanks for the replies, Miles.

    Hello

There should be no problem to start just the netbook on just the power adapter (with removed battery) - it is an option often chosen by people who primarily use a laptop on the power grid, as it reduces the number of charge/discharge the battery through and extending the useful life of the battery intermittently.

    Kind regards
