My computer crashes!

Hey,.
My computer that I've had for a few years now worked perfectly all the time? Recently it started crashing without real reason. The full screen goes black and the sound tends to block and keep repeating! I haven't added a new software or hardware that may be causing the problem. After not being is not able to determine what the problem was, I reformatted the computer and install windows again. The problem did not seem to disappear and because I have not really added any software on the machine since the diskwipe I can't that assume it's a hardware problem?
I checked the RAM using Microsoft Online Crash Analysis, but it has passed the tests without any problem? I don't really know what to do other than that? I would check the motherboard but don't know how? What do you think of that the next step should be?

This really looks like a hardware problem.  Unfortunately there is not a single test or a utility that can tell you if your motherboard is going bad.  What you can do, is first of all, make sure that you have important data is backed up and keep that it is backed up in case your computer dies suddenly.  Then, you can run tests on some of the elements to exclude certain things.  Visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer, or each component, if it is a tailor-made system and see if they have utilities to test their components.

Here are some things you can try.

The disk check:
You can help solve some computer problems and improve the performance of your computer by making sure that your hard disk has no errors.
 
1. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.
 
2. right click on the hard drive you want to check, and then click Properties.
 
3. click on the Tools tab and then, under check for errors, click check now.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will simply report a problem, but not to fix them.

To perform a full disk check, select search and attempt to recover bad sectors. This scan is trying to find and repair physical errors on the hard drive itself, and it may take much longer to complete.

To check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
 
4. click on start.
 
Depending on the size of your hard disk, this may take several minutes. For best results, do not use your computer for any other tasks while it checks errors.

Note: If you select automatically errors in file system of fix for a disc that is used (for example, the partition that contains Windows), you will need to reschedule the disk check for the next time you restart your computer.

The memory test:
Click Start, type 'memory' in the search box.
Open memory diagnostics, and then choose your Options.
It will run when you restart.

There are a number of diagnostic tools third you can download and run to test the various hardware components, but be careful when you download things.  Get references from friends or co-workers or see a qualifed PC technician.

    Your old profile is located under "roaming."
    For Thunderbird there is nothing that you need to restore from "local."

    Hi, you can try it for only bookmarks: first open the bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > restore and see if you have a backup there.

    If the file has no valid data then you may not use this file.

    You can try if there is an earlier copy of the logins.json file.

    I did have to pay for firefox because firefox is free. But I buy the full version of downloadhelper path long before my computer crashed. Download helper has a record of my IP address and my name and email, and I remember seeing a key for my purchase when I used to look in the window options. Then they will make me pay for a legitimate downloadhelper version if they have officially that I already bought? That's what I want to know, because I don't have to buy it again.

    Re-installing Firefox does not necessarily mean that you will have to re - install Download Helper.

    bookmarks.html contains no bookmarks, this file is no longer used to store.

    Are you sure you're looking in the right folder, you are possible to search in the installation of Firefox rather than the profile folder folder. The following link provides details on the location of the profile folder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox

    If you do not find places.sqlite you may not have access to your old profile folder.

    I have a Lenovo Edge 15 (got 11/03/15). Recently, when using SKYPE, making a video call, a box has developed indicating that RTFTrack has stopped working. The screen becomes white, then the computer crashes. So my call is disconnected, my computer restart and I have to log in again, open SKYPE, etc. What happened 5 times in the last three weeks. What can I do to fix this?

    Apparently RTFTrack is from Realtek Semiconductor and RTFTrack appears in my Start Menu and begin to start my computer.

    I updated my driver of the camera from the 20/03/15 update driver on Lenovo's Support page for my 15 Edge and the problem has not yet appeared. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

    HP 6700 Office Jet all in one my laptop down caucused.  Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I brought this Office and they said that my computer was not repairable. I bought the new laptop and installation of IT people that and it caused the computer crash with blue screen.  A new second round to and same problem.  I won't download your difficulty because I fear that the same thing will happen. I returned the printer at point of purchase. I have read several posts where the same issue occurred and the establishment of retail (Staples) should have knowledge and not sold me the printer.

    What is the brand and model of your new laptop?

    How do you have the printer connected to your computer?

    Please make sure that the printer connected to a USB 2.0 PC port and not a USB 3.0 port as the product HP is not compatible with USB 3.0.

    Also make sure you have the latest USB drivers installed on your computer.

    My computer crashes after a short period of time while browsing on the internet.  I use internet explore as my browser.   I get an error message saying that page Web does not.    My mouse works, but I can no longer access the internet.  I have to restart my computer.    The same thing happens if it goes into sleep mode or if I close all Web pages.    I have to restart in order to access the internet, regardless of what I do.

    It is an old computer a month with 10 pre-installed windows.    It was working fine & I'm pretty sure, he started doing this once I got an automatic update.     I tried to use HP support & it detects no problem and everything is updated.

    OT: Media Player-related problems.

    When I try and play a video or dvd my computer crashes and I have to close, a blue box appears in the upper right corner, saying: I have new applications that can open this type of file, but not how to use them or what they are called or where to find them.

    I down loaded VLC media player but it also refuses to play video clips and DVD and locks the computer as well.

    If VLC can't play the file, it can be owner or damaged. In addition, VLC should have no problem with a standard DVD playback.

    1. What do you mean by "my computer, crash"? What happened and what did
    do you to fix? Have you maybe reformat and reinstall Windows? If
    you did, you are out of luck.

    2. If your photos (or any other file on your disk) was important
    to you and you did not return regularly, you've played them
    with fire. It is always possible that a hard drive crash, user error,.
    near Thunderbolt, virus attack, even stolen computer, peut

  • Caused Windows updates computer crash

    Anyone else have problems with latest updates (from June 30 to July 10)?  Since June 30, my computer has stopped unexpectedly 5 times.  I ran virus scan, ad-aware, etc.  The only thing that worked was a system restore before June 30.  Unfortunately, Windows automatically updated again and I had the same problems.  I had to remove the updates manually.  Any ideas why this happened?

    My computer crashed after the automatic update Tuesday evening. The message indicates that the demand for window vista (which initially provided with the Lenovo computer, that I bought new in 2007) is not valid. When I rebooted and you press F5, it offers 3 options 'Security Mode', but no return explicitly beforehand updated status.

    I'm not familiar with uninstalling and restoring systems. Can you walk me through the process? Can I uninstall or restore when the computer is in mode security (limited capacity)? How a WAIK/Windows PE image downloaded to another computer to help me with the computer that is out?

    Your suggestion to install SP2 apply to windows vista home basic version, 2007?
