My computer keep tapping '-' in my XP boxes search engine
My computer continues to do so-in my search engine boxes. What does that mean? It makes a beep, sometimes too. What is going on? I ran Mcafee and Microsoft Live a Scanner and they can't find anything unusual. Help a colleague, please.
Hi Laura,
Can you try to open the notebook and see if you are facing similar problem? I guess that his problem with the keyboard where in - is pressed. Try tapping - keys (can be less key numpad or hyphen between zero and =).
I hope this helps.

Computer keeps restarting, blue screen after windows logo.
Hello!
My computer keeps restarting. It gets to the windows logo then a blue screen for 1/2 seconds and it restarts. The last good configuration does not change. Tho, safe mode works (im writing this safe mode with networking). Last night I scanned my pc of viruses through safe mode and remove all what it found, nothing has worked. I did a system restore, it changed nothing.
I unchecked 'restart system failure' and I managed to read the blue screen. He said that windows does not start to damage my computer. Then he said something about drivers and BIOS and the error was:
"Technical information:
"STOP: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0X83B463B2, 0XF7945270, 0XF7944F6C).
I am running windows xp pro. And I've lost my windows disk.
Please help, chris.
