  When the ethernet cable is plugged into my pc, it immediately goes to sleep and don't wake up without a difficult start. As long as the cable is connected, the computer will not load windows, immediately go to sleep before my desktop appears. My laptop is connected wirelessly without any problems at all and when connected with a cable, no problem either.   I rebooted my macbook. When it restarted it flashed the apple logo, progress bar began to charge up to 15%, then the black and white code popped up for a few seconds, then a box pops up saying "your computer has restarted because of an error, press any key to restart." It is now is an endless restart loop.

  I can't go in safe mode or in disk utility.

  Any suggestions on what to try?

  You may not have lost any resolution... or you can understand the word "resolution" bad

  Resolution isn't the file size, which are the numbers you are quoting. So the 1.3 MB changing to 542KB does not indicate a change in resolution. If you export the picture and let the box that says "Resize to Fit" disabled, so you don't waste no resolution at all, even if the file size has changed.

  To be honest, I don t think that sleep & service or this service would affect the features of webcam.
  TOSHIBA sleep utility allows you to charge USB devices such as a cell phone with the computer in standby mode or even stop mode. This is why there should be no link between this function and webcam

  I can't say with certainty what's going wrong with your internal webcam but the fact is that in many cases the webcam and sleep function & load could be turned on and off in the BIOS.

  In my opinion, you should perform a few checks.
  First set the default BIOS settings (load default by pressing F9) and check if the webcam is enabled in the BIOS.

  Second if you think that there is still a link between sleep and charge function and the webcam, then disable the sleep and the load in the BIOS, just to check if it will make a difference.

  I would suggest trying to perform a restore of the system, prior to installation of SBC 2011.  I do not know what operating system you use, but included some links for Vista and Windows 7.  If you are running Windows XP, please let us know what version and service pack.

  Open Device Manager, expand the 'System devices' section, and then find "Intel Management Engine interface", double click it and go to the driver tab, and then click on "roll back driver" button, it will come back to the previous driver.

  You can do most any device in the device manager driver.

  If roll back driver button is gray, then there is no older driver to restore.
