  Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 700 m, Windows XP and I wanted to play games on my laptop, but when I try to run a game, it opens, then the window closes automatically. I if it may be that I installed the wrong game, but I checked and everything seems fine. I searched online and found that only a few games is compatible with my laptop. Also, I tried to update my graphics card but I have not seen a video driver update for Dell Inspiron 700 m Windows XP. It does not take in charge the 3d games which I hope there is a solution for, and the game I am playing Battlefield 1942.   Just recently I started receiving the error message bad "cannot determine the type of AC power adapter. Your system will run more slowly and the battery won't charge. "Please connect a Dell 65W adapter or higher for a better functioning of the system.

  I've had my dell inspiron 1545 since 2009. I had to replace my battery once because I kept getting an error message. The error message above, I have been doing hard for about a week now. I had read that push the cord into the laptop could work. I know it sounds stupid, but I actually tried and for some time the adapter started to charge my battery again. But whenever I turn off my laptop I have to re connect the adapter because I get this error again. About 2 days ago, I tried my usual method of shoving the cord, but now the method does not work and my battery fell to 18%. I must say that I always keep my plugged power cord because my battery never lasted more than an hour before.  It seems that my card still works when I plug it into the wall of blue light still appears. When I plug it into the laptop computer, the icon appears that it is plugged in and the display becomes brighter. I am also able to remove my battery and work on my laptop as long as the AC adapter is plugged. I'm really afraid that this problem is related to the motherboard.

  First thing to try is a new Dell AC adapter - if this doesn't fix the problem, replace the power supply (see link below).  And in the unlikely event, he is not taking or adapter, the motherboard needs to be replaced.

  Go to Device Manager and click on the video controller needing drivers.   Click on the driver tab, click on set to update driver.

  This Pavilion is brand new and only get like . 2 Mbps of speedtest.net. The download speed is normal, but the dwnload speed is terrible. Now, I still have my old computer sitting here and it is on the same network WIFI get 10 to 15 Mbps of speedtest. It's a dell inspiron with windows vista. This must be a matter of hardware/software.   I have this SAME problem.  I just bought my m6 Pavilion three days previously and immediately noticed that the download speed is very slow.  In addition, a lot of things people recommend this site do take into account that the laptops are brand new, the parameters are already factory installation and things are not running in the background whenever we try to download.  And just like the original - poster I have my old laptop awkward, almost dead here and it's the things download 5 times faster than my new laptop.

  Also, I found another post online from a user in HP Pavilion, who bought a new laptop and this is the slow download.

  So taking all this into account, a PERSON LOGIC CAN CONSLUDE THAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH the computer PORTABLE PAVILION.  Yes, is there an employee HP mans this site who can lift this problem and come back with the official HP answer to why this problem occurs?  I will definiately go online and noted the low ratings sites flag if I don't get an adequate response.

  Have you thought about asking on a forum of Dell? You can get better answers.

  In the meantime, I would recommend a virus scan with Malwarebytes Antimalware. And if you provide a list of programs on your system, we might be able to give recommendations on what you can safely remove.

  More RAM might help. Go to Crucial.com and run their upgrade analysis tool. Who will tell if they have compatible memory and give you some suggested upgrade configurations.
