My HP Pavilion laptop has apparently not "Bluetooth." It can be added?

I have a Dell keyboard and mouse (from the computer earlier) and want to use the pair with my little HP laptop wireless.  Is it possible to do?  I can't find any Bluetooth installed on this system.

Without your identification of the HP Pavilion laptop it is certainly impossible to give you an accurate answer except to inform you that you can buy a usb bluetoothdongle to add the feature. They are pretty cheap,

Take a look at the Web of NewEgg site.

All of the keyboard on my computer hp laptop pavilion g6 has completely stopped working.  As it is locked?   I installed Office 2013 teacher and then it stopped working.  Not that that was the reason, but it's the only thing I did differently.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Tap away at the button esc you start the laptop to see if it will launch the Start Menu and select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys (assuming that they work in this menu) to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Note:  If you find that the keys do not work in the Bios menu, then it is likely to be a hardware problem.

    Hi Steve2014,

    Welcome to the HP forum!

Thanks for your post, I'm happy to help you.

I understand that you get a black screen with no error message. The document you provided is right for the codes.  If the indicator light flashes only once, it indicates the CPU.  If you can run the diagnostics F2 at startup and launch the "Run - test, it will test the processor.»

  • My HP Pavilion laptop g6 will not connect to any wireless internet access

I have dealt with this for a while now, and it just happened to no part I turned on my computer one morning and it would not connect to my wifi. I've tried EVERYTHING. My computer allows me to plug in an ethernet cable and the router and use the internet like that. I know it's not the router because I use the internet on my iPhone and tablet. When I try to connect to the internet, it has a red X where the wireless icon used to be, now the icon looks like a computer instead monitor the small bars. When I type my button wireless on my keyboard, a message appears and warns me that I just got my wireless turned off, but no matter if it is off or on this little button always has the light on orange. I can't understand what is happening and I would appreciate if you could help me!

  • HP Pavilion 15 laptop: help! HP Pavilion laptop charger works not properly.

    Hey!

My laptop charger is malfunctioning. We all know that if a device is unplugged and use it permanently, it will possibly miss fees.  If the problem is when my charger is plugged in, it do not charge the cell phone or laptop to run out of charge instead it neutralizes the battery and allows him the same percentage it is (46% will remain as 46%).  I just realized this problem last month, but I don't know what is the real problem. If this is the problem of the charger, it wouldn't charge or neutralize my battery at all. It is more likely that the port of loading is the problem but at the moment, we don't know.  What can I do?

It is an indication of some possibilities. I would try #1 first, then #2.

    (1) a problem with the AC adapter. It's probably not that the question if you are able to remove the battery, connect the power adapter and start-up in Windows.

    (2) in the battery method control compatible ACPI Microsoft operating system device drivers could be damaged.  See the image below.

    Call the Device Manager.

Uninstall the driver from the power adapter plugged. Ignore the warning.

After it is uninstalled, right click on any device and select search the hardware changes.

The operating system must install a new copy of the device compatible Microsoft ACPI control method battery driver.

    (3) failure of the circuit electrical distribution\charging on the motherboard

If it does not help it is time to use the warranty. The battery, adapter and motherboard are replaceable without cost to you, as long as the warranty is still in effect.

  • Pavilion laptop g7 does not start

I have a HP Pavilion g7-1167dx Notebook PC running Windows 7 Home Premium.  When I turn it on, the LED only lights are LEDs of power (on the power switch and side) and the network LED on the F12 key.  I am not able to enter the diagnostics of material via the F2 key.  The fan is operating normally. It was produced before intermittently, but I wanted to just wait awhile and it would eventually start again.  When he finally is never returned, I disassembled carefully, according to the maintenance and care, guide (on an ESD protection adequate workstation) and gave it a good cleaning.  It was very dusty inside.  Unfortunately when I reassembled it, it still does not work.  The computer is a little more than two years. I sent the motherboard to repair parts of computer out of Miami, Florida and they fixed it and returned.  I was told it was the video chip.  They charged $70.00.  With each shipment way I got it fixed for $90.00.   Hallelujah!  With their setting of the original motherboard, I didn't have to worry about problems of CMOS and "tattoeing" a new motherboard, which would have cost a lot more.

  • My laptop has 2 discs and I can't replace a (VN7 V15 - 571G)

I just ordered an Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro VN7 - 571 G-50VG and it came with a 1 TB drive HARD + 128 GB SSD. I tried to remove two disks and just install a 500 GB SSD instead. I cloned the content of the 128 GB SSD, which was the C: drive, while the 1 TB HARD drive is drive D:, the 500 GB SSD using Macrium.

When I started to disassemble the laptop, I couldn't find the 1 TB HARD drive, it was under the keyboard and to the right, as in other models that I found on YouTube. I removed that and installed my 500GB SSD. I booted up my laptop to find that it still initialized from the 128 GB SSD. Because I could not find, I thought to leave there and instead of the 500 GB SSD boot by changing the boot order. I made and noted that the 128 GB SSD was labeled 'HDD0' and the 500GB SSD was labeled "HDD1. However, he kept always begin on the 128 GB SSD!

So, where can I find this 128 GB SSD so I can go out and put my 500GB SSD? Or, how can I change the laptop will start on the 500 GB SSD instead?

I can send pictures of the inside of the laptop if necessary.

    Hi alonzocarlton jr,.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft answers Forum. It is not clear to your last post if you have run a full computer scan until Rey suggested. If you have, what were the results? If necessary, you analysis your computer using Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free.

The question follows other users on the computer?

What is the brand and model of your computer? If your computer comes with Windows preinstalled, go to your production website and make sure you have the latest drivers for your BIOS, card mother and graphics card. Follow the steps in this link to manually install the drivers.

  • HP pavilion dv6: HP Pavilion dv6 has stopped working

    Hello

I have a HP pavilion dv6 i7 - 4 GB RAM model, I bought in 2011. The laptop worked fine until yesterday. But a sudden power cut has caused its judgment as the back of the battery is close to zero. But later when I tried to load and restart, the laptop simply did not. I can see the charge works very well, but none of the lights (power, caps lock, etc.) are on.  Even after using the old method of draining any static battery in the laptop (by pressing Start button / stop for nearly 30 secondds), the portable computer simly does not start. There is no visible boot, that nothing displayed on screen as the laptop itself is not able to start.  I tried to reset the RAM by removing and re - install in accordance with the procedure prescribed by HP. But, still no effect.

(There is no previous repair/replacement in my laptop. Thus, all parts are those which are authentic HP)

The situation is completely distraught for me because nothing is displayed on the screen. I have no idea if the laptop is under tension, or not. Although I tried restarting without battery. The results were the same.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook and laptop does not turn on. Try perform a reset.  There are many tips here.

When you perform a hard reset note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices.

Plug the adapter into a different wall outlet. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.
