My HP5515 wil copy in color but do not print from the computer in color.

Hmm, if any snippet allows you to take a look at these Printer preferences one last time before going to uninstall/reinstall. In the printer preferences, click the Advanced button. In the window that opens check the grayscale option. Set it to off, if you can't check a little further down remember resolution is not defined in black and white only.

Problem with the black ink. Copy in black, but will not print in black.
I have a Officejet 6500 wireless. It is about 1 1/2 years. In recent months, is no longer prints black BUT will be exemplary in black. When I print a test page for the printer from the computer options, it is a greenish color. If I print a page of test from the HP site... it prints black. I read a yest blog that allowed me to determine that it was a problem with the driver, not the ink cart. I have installed and reinstalled the software, but that did not fix the problem. Any suggestions?

Printer all-in-one Photosmart D110A. Printer works OK to computer when printing black and white or in color. But when using the scan or copy feature the printer does a solid black page. This just started recently. If I try to scan a document from the computer, the analysis that results is black Uni. I guess that it is a hardware problem. If this is correct, how can I get it fixed. It sounds like the scanner lamp turns off. You can't really repair or replace just the scanner lamp. The way to resolve this would be to replace the entire printer. Check your warranty here. I use CS5 on Windows 7.
I packed some InDesign files on my computer (let's call it the X drive). Then I take all of the folder that contains the document InDesign, the links folder and the folder of fonts and moved to another drive (let's cal it drive Q).
If I open the file on drive Q and look at the links Panel, he tells me all the links are from drive X, rather than pull them from the drive Q.
I know that I can use the option 'create a link to the folder' and tell him to use the links folder have the Q drive, but how come it does not only automatically?

Even if you have packed the file, links are always absolute and point to the location where the package was created. If you COPY the package to a new location, and the old site is still accessible, ID will continue to use the old links. If you MOVE to a new location, and the links are no longer at the old location, then ID search the links folder in the folder of the package.

The two machines running Win 7 64 bit, both on the same network (such as a printer) all with cable connection to the local network. A single machine prints fine, but since a few days, my PC will not be printed on the printer. PING and TRACERT it is correct, and I tried removing/reinstalling the printer several times. Using the PCL6 driver, as well as a specific driver for printer have same results. Anyone else having this problem?
After almost 12 hours of continuous hair-pulling, finally ran across the solution on a Microsoft forum site: it turns out that the problem was a recent update of anti-virus software (McAfee, specifically) who changed the firewall settings. Can't seem to get the AV software allow constantly to the printer, but temporarily disable the firewall in the AV software has solved the problem. (the other machine running another AV software package) I have to just be careful during this 15 minute period.
Anyway, if you have a similar problem, make sure to check the firewall settings.
