  Hi all

  I have an old Sat M40-313, which worked fine for the last 3 years +.
  This morning, I found he was dead and would not turn back on. I tried the obvious things (I was a service engineer for many years in the 1980s on things like the PDP series, so some experience) as switching power supplies (I have had to change the diet before the summer that the cable was doubtful but kept the old one, in the case), but still could not climb.

  While I had a little browse (on another machine) to see if I could find some free hints, let him he connected with most recent feeding. When I went past, I noticed on the power lights. He started, but has lasted only a minute or two before dying again. Leave it plugged an hour gave me several minutes of use. I went to control panel | Power and had a look at the power indicator. He told me that he was in charge, but I noticed that the level fell. So obviously, the current will out of the battery faster going. He went from 11% to 7% after about three minutes, so I turned it off again.

  The most recent feeding is a vanilla object that I have purchased from PC City and is the original battery. Anyone have an idea how I can eliminate one of the possibilities of the equation, please? I don't want to buy a new battery if the problem is the power supply, and vice versa, so all advice is welcome.

  It turns out that I had more of a problem.  Corrupt drivers, 255 in many in my subnet mask, overly complex LAN, use server control... you get the idea.  So I just deleted all software, disassembled everything and more from scratch.  Now back to the top and work.
