A30 - why my laptop always automatically stop?

I don't know why my laptop always automatically closed especially when I'm on the internet or using other software. If I'm just using the laptop to watch DVDs or a Word, everything is ok.

Boring!

My laptop is Satellite A30

Who can give me some advice about this, thank you!

Hello

you have a footstool of antivirus software to check if it's a virus?

You see a blue front screen of the laptop closed?
When it stops, it's closed windows and close without problem or is it simple to?

When your laptop is used, it is on a surfboard ridig or do you use it on a couch or bed?

    Hello

My Satellite is installed with Vista and everything works as it should, but every time it starts
the small box will appear telling you to restart the computer to complete the installation. (see text below)

I have not installed the computer me, so I was wondering if the installation was interrupted
during the automatic installation. (even if everything works as it should)

My text is in Danish, but translated it says:

"Now, the computer is ready for use. You should

If you're waiting Toshiba s answer here I must say that you are on the wrong place here. This is the forum for users.

After you start your laptop for the first time the image installed on the drive HARD will end the installation and when finished in the middle of the screen you will see big button to restart the computer. When you click on this cell phone will restart and it will not appear again. After that last restart, you can use your laptop.

So my questions to you two are:
What models of laptops do you have?
This button appears again and again?

What you can do is to install the OS by using supplied recovery media. After installing the OS, watch carefully what happens and at the end to confirm this restart of the laptop.

  • My laptop always stops suddenly, can anyone help?

    Hello

I don't know if it's good advice, but I'll just post it here for now.

The model is a HP Pavilion 14-v049TX

My laptop always suddenly stops 10 minutes after the start, even if it is clearly completely cooled. When it stopped, the power button will not and no flash for any button or keyboard. I have to wait a while and try many times to start it up again, and then it stops immediately.

I bought this laptop when I was in China just 2 months, so this is all new. She always stops all of a sudden so I can do my job using it. But I really need to do my job. So please can I get some help?

It is under warranty, but I do not know how to find a supporter technic to fix it.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi @Erjia

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you have a problem with your laptop close unexpectedly. It looks like a hardware problem, from what you described. I'll assume you are using Windows 8.1 and this document from HP tests to hardware failures will show how to test the majority of your material. Use UEFI diagnostic tools and run System Test - extended Test.

You can also use the System File Checker to scan your operating system for corruptions see if something is wrong. I also suggest to do a Check Disk as well.

If you are looking for someone to fix it you can call HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 in North America or Start here if you live outside of North America.

  • Laptop does not stop automatically.

    Hello

    I have a HP 2000 t - 2d 00 CTO Notebook PC, model: D6Q45AV.

While I turned off my laptop, the computer stops with the message saying Shutting Down as usual.

However when the screen goes black, the power is still on (lights are always on) and the computer does not turn off.

I waited until she goes off automatically 15 minutes, but instead, I held the power button to close manually.

Also, I can't restart the computer or put it on the mode 'sleep'.

When I restart the computer, the reboot screen appears only and does not restart the computer.

While he was trying to put the computer on the mode 'sleep', the corners of the black screen, but still power is still on.

This has happened since this morning.

Last night, when I stopped, I got the message Shutting Down, the screen is black and the computer shut down in 10 seconds (all LEDs are off) as it normally should.

Y at - it a software update that would solve this problem?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Thursday, I went on board: programs and features: I clicked on SUVs installed updates.

I clicked on the KB3000850 Windows Update from Nov - 25 and uninstalled.

The computer took about an hour and a half to uninstall after reboot.

I tested if the computer sleep mode worked by closing the lid of the laptop.

Finally, he fell asleep mode correctly.

When I opened the laptop, he is risen, as he should.

Now stop, restart and sleep function properly.

I think the problem was the update.

    Hi Vilus

During the long period of use, the cooling modules may be blocked by dust.
This would prevent air from traffic and could lead to a higher temperature.
I have experience with such behavior cell phone because this happened to my two different notebooks from different manufacturers.

The cooling modules couldn t run with the best performance because of the dust and I was forced to use a jet of compressed air that has helped remove a lot of dust and debris.
I blew air through the vents and fans and I was really surprised how much dust was hidden inside the laptop.

In any case, after this procedure accelerated, the temperature went down and laptop didn t stopped automatically.

  • How to set the printer wireless ad Hoc mode to CP1025nw with automatic stop is off? IE never automatic.

How to set the printer wireless ad Hoc mode to CP1025nw with automatic stop is off? IE never automatic.

Thank you very much for your help, if necessary.

Quite a few questions, send, but I will do what I can to answer them.

I recommend first to buy a router, even if it's one you won't connect to internet and it network with others your PC and printer. This will give you the best features and the results of what you're trying to do.

In addition, the automatic stop of the printer function can be disabled and is not affected by the type of connection. Usually, you can go through the configuration Menu and select tools to change the options there on the energy saving features.

Finally, the auto off function on your computer is a Windows question, but one easy answer. If you're on a laptop, you can right click on the battery in the tray (lower right corner) and change the settings for energy conservation.

You might be better off installing the printer via the USB cord and alternately inspiring when you use it, but which is not optimal if you are printing only a few documents on an irregular basis. A network connection is the easiest to manage across multiple computers, honesty, but you have certain requirements for this connection and limits as well.

I hope this information is useful!

  • Why my windows media player stops playing a video clip when I drag her to a second monitor?

I have tried to read a video on a second monitor by using the operation drag and drop method. But every time I do the video stops working (even if the sound isn't yet). Is there a download that will allow me to play the video?

Video takes a lot of memory in the computer to manage, sound does not need as much memory and that's why you will always hear.  Did you check to see that you still have a lot of space memory hard drive?  What are the specifications of your computer compared to what you need to run Media?  Before drag you it to another monitor, it works ok?  You may need to increase the speed of your computer, if not live without doing this operation.

Since I speak and write in three languages, I added two other languages in the preferences system, in addition to English. But for some reason when I type in the Pages or post or elsewhere, words are always automatically changed, because it is spelled "correctly", because it is not English, my primary language on my Macbook Pro. When I check the keyboard preferences, automatic spell checking is disabled, but it still happens. How can I fix?

Is this setting lower than on 'automatic '? And what are the settings in the Edit menu of Pages, with spelling and grammar?

    ·        Is this a USB to PS2 Mouse mouse?

Method 1: I suggest you to run the Microsoft safety scanner to ensure that the system is free of infection by the virus:

Method 2: I would say as update you the driver for the mouse and check if it makes a difference:

Method 3: You can also try to put the computer to boot and then check if the problem is caused by any third-party application:

  • PowerShot SX510 HS automatically stops video recording after 10-15 minutes in the record.

PowerShot SX510 HS automatically stops video recording after 10-15 minutes on continuous recording. Is there a way to disable this option? I would like to record videos up until I press the button stop recording or the battery is low. I've disabled all the setting of energy saving, at least, I think I have.

The camera has some limitations for registration, as do all models of Canon. Here's how you can extend your durations for registration to a maximum of about 1 hour, but there is a limit of 4BG regardless so once he hits 4 GB recording stops and has to be restarted.

Also, the memory card has to be at least a class 6 rating or recording will stop as soon as possible regardless of the size of the clamp.

It comes to page 161 of your manual
