My new B210 goes to sleep and not wake up.

My new printer seems to go to sleep and does not start with the - button, I have to unplug it to restart... I am running Windows 7 and connected via a wireless router. Any idea what can be the cause?

With the printer YOU unplug from wall and the printer for 5 minutes.  It does nothing?

I press the power button (set to go to sleep), the screen goes black, beeps twice.

and it seems that he fell asleep, but actually fans turned on and the red light ThinkPad remains on (and not fade in & out).

    Help, please

    Izik.

    Hi, Izik

I would recommend making sure that all the drivers and BIOS are up-to-date for your system. All updates available for your system can be found here. You can use the drop down lists to filter by operating system and type of device. After that all who have been downloaded and installed, try to put the machine to sleep, and then see if the problem persists.

  • Computer goes to sleep and won't wake up

A few days ago my computer started not to wake sleep cycle.  It goes into hibernation and don't wake up with a jerk of the mouse or by pressing the buttons on the keyboard.  I put the display to sleep for 4 hours and 30 minutes, but she falls asleep before 4 hours are rising and then don't wake up upward.  I have to press the button for a few seconds to do to turn off and then restart.  If I press a button on the screen when the computer is in standby it gives me a message that the signal of the computer has been lost.  Anyone has any ideas how to solve this problem?

    Hello

Look at all the features associated with sleep and ensure that it is only sleeping and not hibernate.

Some computers sleep mode will not let you wake up mouse etc. You have to push short s to the power Witch (as mentioned above by WillTel).

It is possible that your computer never before slept and was just to go off the screen.

  • When I click on 'File' and then 'new' it keeps open a new file as a layer and not a background. The RGB mode is selected.

When I click on 'File' and then 'new' it keeps open a new file as a layer and not a background. The RGB mode is selected.

With the new files to open as a layer and not a background, I'm not able to create multiple layers and it won't let me convert the background layer.

How what happened. I've used PS yesterday and had no problem. Today, my computer did updates mandatory day and now this.

Yes. You use the option of Pixel of the Ellipse tool. He's so setting pixels as it is supposed to do without creating a layer.

Choose the option to the form:

Also the menu layer > new layer creates layers and paper rolled up at the bottom of your layers palette also creates a new layer. I hope these work.

  • PlayBook is going to sleep and my data transfer stops

    Hello

I test my download application and have found that when the playbook goes to sleep the transfer actually stops until the backlight is activated again.

This is normal and is at - there a way around this so that I can have my app continue to transfer data while the playbook is in standby mode?

    Thank you

By its design, and apps that really should work differently need to implement specific measures to do this.  Look in the QNXSystemPowerMode things and consider carefully whether you should be giving the user the ability to control it, because some users can expect and want a transfer like this to be suspended, depending on the nature of your application.  For some, to use only THROTTLED, for others something more complex.

Also note that you want to requestResource() with an argument of QNXSystemResource.NETWORKING and don't forget to release properly when you're done with him also.

  • Vista ghoes mode 'sleep' will not 'wake up '.

Vista starts without a problem.  Without warning the display disappears and I am unable to see anything including the cursor. At first I thought the BONE broke, but now I think it's just going to go to sleep on her own and refusing to "wake up" when I move the mouse.  I tried several diagnostic tools on the computer, but everything seems to be OK.  The first time it happened I was using a projecter and display of powerpoint slides. Is it possible to disable the "sleep" function to see if my theory is correct? Or you have a better idea?

    First option

It seems that your computer can be set the hibernation mode. The main reason that he would do that automatically would be because your battery level is extremely low. Try plugging your computer or insert a charged battery and release, and then press the power button a times, the computer usually does not work in the movement of the mouse in Hibernation Mode.

Do not forget that, once the laptop goes into hibernation, you should not interrupt the process by removing the battery until the hard drive and all the other lights stop flashing and power off. Once they have fed completely down (may take a few minutes) you can exchange the batteries safely. To wake up from hibernation, press and release the power (once) button. Function of various factors, your laptop can take 1 to 5 minutes to return to the login screen, although usually, it will be one or two minutes, not five.
    Second option
If the power is not a problem, but you leave your computer on all using it does not, he can simply go to mode hibernation as part of its power system management. You can change the settings for diagram of power to your needs as follows:

Place your mouse over the the battery icon on the taskbar and right click.

    Select "Power Options".

(You can also access power options through the control panel: start > Control Panel > system and Maintenance > Power Options.)

According to the plan used on your computer, click on "Change Plan settings".

Change the settings for sleep and Disply offered as you wish.
Click on the link "Change advanced power settings" (near the bottom of the window".

Scroll through the list at the entrance to 'Sleep' and expand it. Expand secondary entrances and change the settings as you wish. Look at the rest of the settings on the list as to make the desired changes. Click on 'Ok '.

    Click "Save".
If this does not resolve the problem, please let us know.
    Best wishes

  • dv7-4170us mode 'sleep' will not wake up

I have a dv7-4170us which is out of warranty and a dead battery. I can't the computer to wake from sleep mode.

I removed the battery, battery cmos, the hard drive and cd-rom drive. Nothing don't wake you this thing!

The wifi light is orange, the caps lock is flashing. The mute button is not lit.  Digital lock is not a light.

Nothing, not even a mouse, is plugged into the laptop.

Processors go really wrong that often, but it happens. Unfortunately, most people have a portable alternative to plug the CPU in a test.  On the other hand, the Systemboards are less Hardy. If you remove the hard drive and try to boot and BIOS complains that there is no operating system, the BIOS has tested the CPU and it is OK. If it not yet come to this...

If she wakes with a hard reset it is, unfortunately, usually the end of the line.
