    Hey Buddy,

What happens if you start the webcam software? It recognizes the webcam?
Important point is that if you want to use the webcam with Skype or other programs, webcam software shouldn't start because the two programs try to access the webcam. So close to first the webcam software.

Last but not least, I would recommend reinstalling the driver from Toshiba Web site:

  • My new airport does not detect my existing WiFi network, I can connect only via the LAN.

Bought a new airport 1 TB TimeCapsule and I wanted to add to my existing via a WLAN network. It does not detect it and I can connect only via the LAN. What I am doing wrong?

Unfortunately, unable to connect to a 3rd time Capsule part wireless using a Wi - Fi.

You need to connect to the time Capsule to your existing modem/router using a wired Ethernet cable connection, permanent... like the Time Capsule Setup Guide illustrates.

If you really don't want the time Capsule to connect using the wireless... she can do... If it gets a signal to another Apple wireless router. So if you were ready to add another Apple... as an AirPort Extreme router... and connect it to your existing Ethernet cable router/modem and configure AirPort Extreme to broadcast a wireless signal... .then.. .the Time Capsule would be able to connect in this way, assuming that he is where he can receive a good quality of AirPort Extreme wireless signal.

    Thank you

    Hello

    You solved this problem?
Could you install system 8.1 Windows on this SSD drive?

I think that the installation of additional drivers during the setting procedure isn't necessary since Win 8.1 should already contain pilots essential.
From my point of view of the few, there could be a compatibility issue (maybe the SSD firmware update could solve that problem).

What another SSD disk usage? You have the same problem with other SSDS from other manufacturers?

    Your comments would be appreciated.

  • Does not detect my HARD drive in the BIOS

Yesterday, I bought DT01ACA300 of HARD drive and it does not detect.
I've tried it on two motherboards (different ports and different controllers: AMD, Intel chipset JMicron chipset) with different powers and signal cables (which do not work with my player Samsung HDD and DVD SATA Lite-on), but it won't do no good...

It seems that the only thing that might have caused it may be the power supply, but I can't check it out because I don't have a spare. I tried to disable most of the unnecessary controllers on MB to lower energy consumption, but it did not help.

From what I've read on the Internet, it seems that it is not I can do by myself and it is very likely defective drive, but I still have some hope that I can make it work...

It would be a big problem to return to calm: I'll have to send in another city in the authorized service center so that they would check it, and then only, I can get a replacement (if noone will fly it by then, which can happen...).

    Which machine do you have?

  • Satellite A500-19W does not detect battery

    Hello

I have a portable Satellite A500-19W which is 6 months old.

I bought this laptop while I was in Egypt and now I've moved (Dubai) UNITED Arab Emirates.

Lately my laptop started suddenly does not detect battery.

To remedy this that I have to remove the battery and clean the terminals then re - put the battery and turn it on and it's OK.

This happened twice this week and caused my data loss because the charger is disconnected (if the charger is connected, the laptop computer continue to work, but the battery indicator does not light up)

Now, my questions are the following
1 - is this problem under warranty?
2 - should I pay for anything when getting this laptop in service in Dubai noting that I bought in Egypt?
    3. is there a cure for this problem without going through the service center?

    Thank you

1 / Yes. These questions should be covered by the warranty. Material is junk.

2 / the nearest service contact and ask, but I'm sure you don't have to pay for the repair. The two countries are countries in EMEA, and avoid any kind of problems.

3 / it is not much, you can do about it so please contact and explain the situation. They should check your laptop and find a reason why this happens.

Don t waste your time and contact the closest service. If you have need for addresses and phone numbers you can find on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads > find an ASP.

  • Satellite P10 304 BIOS does not detect HARD and CDROM drive

My HDD p10-304 has recently failed.
I bought a new 60 GB western digital 2.5 drive "and installed today.

At startup, the BIOS does not detect the drive, but also, it does not detect the CD-ROM drive.
This makes me think that maybe it's not the player after all, maybe the onboard IDE / motherboard.

I'm kinda stuck, so it's a new drive should work fine, and I have no way to test the motherboard.

The only difference is that the insulation on the original drive sleeve should be reduced by half.
The bit important (low, where the circuits would otherwise affect metal) is always there, it is the
Few albums I had to remove but that should be no problem.

    Someone at - it suggestions?

    Thank you, Stu.

    Hello

What happens if the HARD drive is not connected to the motherboard? The BIOS recognize the CD/DVD drive correctly?

You bought the HARD drive compatible? To my knowledge the Mobile supports a HARD drive with interface IDE (ATA-5) increased.

But as you said possibly the motherboard failures and he would be advised to contact the technician during a particular test

  • Lenovo Windows B590 8.1 tha camera works, but Skype does not detect

    Dear all,

I'm new to the forum, where as a lurker I already found useful solutions in permeable opportunities. My technical knowledge, by the way, is very modest...

It happens that my camera works fine on the laptop (a Lenovo B590 running Windows 8.1), allowing me to make videos, but when I installed Skype it does not detect the camera and asked me to 'connect to a camera'... so now I can't do videocalls using Skype.

Before trying the remedy proposed in this post https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-B-and-G-Series-Notebooks/Lenovo-B590-Webcam-problem/m-p/1572836#... I wanted to ask if he could adapt to my situation or not.

    Hi Cruver solid,

This morning, I tried to run the software proposed in another post, one related to my question. He solved the problem: everything works fine now.

  • the Windows xp Setup program does not detect my hard drive

When I try to install Windows XP, it does not detect my hard drive which is visible in the bios.  My bios options are very limited, but I was able to use the bios to change the sata in ide.  It still does not work, and now he is not found with the disc of windows 7 I have.  This isn't a new pc.  He was working at a given time, but foolishly, I formatted the hard drive and have no drivers for my drive hard hitachi.  I bought a new seagate Mak, but now this disc hard is not allocated and is also not detected.  I have no way to get an operating system and I'm in a jam financially... Please help.

SATA drives are not recognized by Windows XP installation disc.  Change the BIOS SATA ATA sometimes solves this problem and allows you to install and sometimes does not.  Microsoft's solution is to press the F6 key when you are prompted for additional drivers, and then insert a floppy disk (Yes, it takes a floppy) with the top driver.

"Limited OEM driver support is available with F6 during installation of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003"
