  Currently using Firefox 26. There is a site in particular that access regularly, the site happens now, but I get this message in the connection box:

             "The connection was interrupted.  The connection was interrupted while the page was loading.  The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.  If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.  If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."
  

  Can connect you to the site using Firefox 26 on another network or with IE11 anywhere. Have no problem with any other site. Have deleted the history and cache, "forget this site".

  Could check you if there is something special about how Firefox connects to the internet? By:

  the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced > tab mini network > button "settings".

  The default value is 'Use the system setting proxy' which must piggyback on your Internet Explorer settings, but you can also try 'No proxy' to see if that makes a difference.

  Also, could you look for error messages in the browser Console? First return to the login page. Then, open the console using Ctrl + Shift + j. To reduce clutter, "uncheck" the CSS button, and then click the clear button.

  Keep this window open and return to the login page and try to connect again. If you switch to the browser Console, are there any error messages?

  My history and snapshot of the missing panels (LR5) suddenly, and only appears in the window > panels menu.

  This * may * have occurred when I was trying to show my collection of target (control B).  I must have accidentally hit the key or some other, because all of a sudden I was taken to the last folder I was in.

  I'm afraid to close LR and reopen it, in the case which exacerbates the problem.  I really want these back panels!

  You go back and forth between library and develop?

  Because there is no other situation where you should be able to "recover files, but snapshots and history have disappeared", files will never be with the snapshots and history

  Due to the failure of my pc crashed while I was surfing.
  After the reboot, I restarted Firefox and unfortunataly it did update. However, after the update I couldn't choose reload tabs/reload the previous session. I got the sessionstore.bak files and I tried to recover my tabs replacing the .js extension but on startup there is not possibility to restore the session/tabs: firefox simply replaces my sessionstore.js.

  Restore previous Session is grayed out? This indicates that the previous session already has been restored and you can try to reopen the windows closed and closed in the history menu tabs. Either:

  • button '3-bar' menu > history > (title of the individual window)
  • (menu bar) History > recently closed Windows > (title of the individual window)

  If there's nothing there, you can check two other things:

  Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

  • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
  • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
  • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

  In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window list all your settings files.

  Scroll down and copy all the files starting with sessionstore to a safe place for an eventual recovery.

  Made sessionstore.bak -datetime - created during your last update of Firefox - look as if it might contain relevant data?

  Find all the additional files, such as sessionstore - 1.js or other numbered files? If so, which indicates that Firefox cannot write to the main sessionstore.js file because it is locked or corrupted, and your windows/tabs are saved in a numbered file. Unfortunately, Firefox may not actually restore all files automatically. In this case, I believe that you must delete the sessionstore.js file (after the release of Firefox) and copy the last numbered sessionstore.js file.

  If none of these pans, you can check if your sessionstore.js file stored Firefox in a restore point. Right click on the file > properties > Previous Versions. If you find something promising, make sure that Firefox is closed before restoring it.

• Toolbars missing InDesign CS5.5 and keys do not work

  I use InDesign CS 5.5 for a few years now and I am very happy with it.  Today, I started to create a new document and found no toolbars available, other than the menu bar, when I started the program. I found and placed these and started by pasting in graphs.  CTRL-V didn't work, so I used edition, paste instead.  Then I typed the text and found that the return key has not worked either, neither tab nor the arrows...  I dropped the paper and loaded up a post I created a couple of weeks, with the same result.  No toolbar and button back (on the main keyboard) didn't work, nor the other keys I mentioned.  The keyboard works fine in other applications.

  I rebooted the computer and reloaded InDesign.  I deleted (renamed actually) the InDesign Defaults file as indicated in the FAQ (I couldn't find a SavedData file).

  I use a desktop with Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1 QuadCore PC.

  You did it all changes to Windows? Looks like it is probably this: panels and InDesign tools answer not to the clicks of the mouse (Windows 7/Vista)

  I would also consider doing a system restore to a date where things worked...

  You have Windows 7 Edition home premium N which does not come with all the features of the Home Premium edition standard media? Please see:

  If you think that you should have it, try:

  1. open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) and navigate to the folder:

  C:\Windows\ehome\

  2. search for a file named ehshell.exe (which is the executable for Windows Media Center file). If its there, you can just click on and select Pin to TaskBar or Start Menu, etc.

  I'm new with Business Catalyst and web development in general but to learn as a side-project / hobby. My problem now is that whenever I have change something that I can't see the changes. I'm trying to edit modulestylesheets.css. At the beginning that I struggled for a long time because nothing would change it seemed. I then discovered that I have to clear history and cookies for my browsers load my css changes. It is probably a 'problem' of normal, but I find it really frustrating and I don't know a way around this.

• Quicken 2009 crashes on startup after the latest security updates

  After you have installed the latest security updates (I think it was 10/01/2010) and tried running Quicken 2009, the program does not start.  It hangs at the boot image.  I tried to restart and reinstall the program (with available updates), but it still has not solved the problem.

I became aware of the problems about 5 days ago, in the course of which I tried the search the support forums and Mozilla on the web for clues as to what I can try, where the reference to the #981577 issue, which looks like it could have been written by me (my saved passwords no longer work , and I can't open the modules now, but for the last few days I could use Add-ons-those for sql lite, but I just tried the add-on troubleshooting appearing at the bottom of this page and I can't use it, what happened to me earlier today, when I downloaded an add-on, I clicked on the FF orange button at the top left then click on Add - ons and it goes up to reach the Add-ons Manager, but nothing happens when you click on the add-on that you try to use - if it manifests itself - it shows only a page marker to square with 'Disable' and 'Delete' - I thought that the problem was with the other add-on I tried because he had a year and maybe he just didn't work. Somehow, I think that the Bar Menu of Firefox with button Firefox Orange and other toolbars could be part of the problem. If I click on the Navigation toolbar and click on the Favorites button that I added to the bar, he will fall down and show me bookmark pages (maybe 15) who are not sorted as my lack. If I click on "Show all bookmarks" it opens the window titled LIBRARY which shows on the left side of the screen. Inside of the library window is a toolbar with your gray out/not bkwk use, then organize, then views, then import and backup - a box search Favorites under the microscope. I want to add that I get the same results when I use the touch of Orange Firefox toolbar as opposed to the Menu bar original. I performed all the tasks mentioned in the conversation to question #981577, and for the most part, I repeated the procedure three times each with additional Firefox and put off my pc between the two for good measure. I also used Windows system restore twice with no results, but also try to "downgrade" my version of Firefox at 24 and 27 (which I know is not a recommended step and the first attempt resulted in the download of Firefox 28, which I was already running, and the second time, nothing restored or appeared as if by magic so I did an uninstall and did a clean install of Firefox 28 since the download link on the Mozilla site. There is no indication that the other user support had him issue/ticket answered and resolved. Communication support spans 12/26-12/27/13. I wished that the preceding conversation took place recently, it may indicate a problem with FF28, but I don't know if it was released in December.   Thanks to everyone who took a peek at my problems with library files, history, bookmarks, downloads and passwords lost or missing after Firefox 28 updated (the automated), especially Michael. Jacky, your suggestion was among the first, I tried more than four days ago, but I re - try each day and twice today (this morning, and after I posted my problem of support here). Unfortunately, whenever I tried it, I need to click on start, and I almost always see the screen flash slightly, then at the top of the window where it says 'Library', I would say something like "the program is not responding" and then... nothing, and nothing on 'My Computer', showed changes. I also used inventory management and maintenance to ensure that the files were in my profile folder, etc. and I kept getting a clean management of sites with depth control and I double checked tables in maintenance of places - both of these programs as well as restoration was recommended in the previous responses to requests for information similar to mine. In addition to restoring my computer, I did a 'Reset' on Firefox that created a new profile name which is used where my FF files are stored. I think that this may have contributed to my eventual success.

  Finally, I tried the thing to save the files in another folder, then change the name of the 'SQL places?' I forgot the second part of the name of the file (I blame my brain tumor for my short term memory problems - really) I think it's the name, so I changed the name. I then clicked on file, then exit and it closed Fire Fox. I was very reluctant to use this method to solve my problems, but after about 4-5 attempts using this, my favorites showed up - not only those who register in the drop-down list and would only save to Favorites sorted in the library, he finally showed not to exactly as it did before the problems. I found that using the bar of removing alternating Menu and looking Orange top button Menu to the left of the screen, it appears that the SQL info flows to two menus in the same way. • Toolbar missing Firefox 22 RoboForm. Worked well with Firefox 21

  Firefox updated to v.22 today and the Roboform toolbar is nowhere to be seen. It is in the complementary and activated, but not visible modules through toolbars or the icon to customize toolbars. Everything was fine with Firefox 21. There seems to be a compatibility problem between Roboform and 22 of Firefox. Version installed is Roboform v. 7.8.9.5. Please work with them and to publish an update. We're stuck without it!

  In the meantime, do you have suggestions on how to get this working? Reinstall RF made no difference.

  I just upgraded to Roboform 7.9.0.0 and toolbar works very well with FF22 and Win7.
