Personal laptop is limited to the installation of other equipment, graphic monitor (s) push resources. If ram memory

is maximally, & the BIOS settings are set to a different monitor, Direct X updates, graphics software are updated, then

We should be able to run a reg monitor... Chk, go in run or cmd, type: DXDIAG run Direct X.

Also, the BIOS settings are critical, uninstall the default, add new ones.

  • Windows 7 does not detect my external monitor. Why? How should I do?

Good, some basic information. The laptop at the origin of the problem is an HP laptop.  In other circumstances, I wouldn't care on this issue. But the screens on both of my computers cell phones don't work (they are Sun and incredibly difficult to see, barely visible) and I use an external monitor so for use.

    In other words, I used.

I have Windows 7 for one of my laptops, and it is already fully charged. But, I tried to connect my external monitor, it did not work. I tried to use the projection screen, pressing [FN + F4]and pressing on [FN +] other F keys, as well. Of course, I thought it was weird. So I looked for answers on the internet (on my other laptop), nothing works. Most only have problems with the monitor not working not properly; mine is not detected at all. I went to the display settings (have to squint shine with a light and bend my laptop screen in different directions), and it showed only 1 screen, the main screen. I tried to restart, stop, unplug the monitor and in him plugging back and turning the cable around. I know that the problem is not the cable, as I use it right now.

I also tried updating the drivers, but for one reason, the laptop now refuses to connect to the internet as well. So, now, I have a laptop completely useless with a black screen, and I can't put my files on it because of this black screen. Not that I'd be able to use it for something else, anyway.

  • Laptop does not detect WiFi or USB

My laptop was running on Windows 8.1 and I decided that I wanted to go back to Windows 7. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate, but now my laptop does not detect my Wi - Fi. I thought I should just update the driver associated with a wifi adapter but it does not detect my Flash drive either. I tried to reinstall Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 but I still have the same issues. Help?

    Quick notes:
    Computer: HP DV7
    Operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate

Using HP recovery for your computer media, he would return to a factory State... including all partitions of the plant, operating system, drivers and HP software. The HP recovery media should solve all problems, except those that are from the real hardware.

Otherwise, you can download the drivers from the page that was provided and install them. Once again, just after the "Hardware ID" string for any unknown devices.

  • Windows 7 does not detect multiple external hard drives

I recently bought a HP Pavilion laptop to 7 Home Premium. I have two 500 GB external hard drives. When I connect them individually to the system, they are recognized and I can copy files to and from these External Drives. But when I try to connect both at the same time, Windows 7 does not detect the drive I connect then. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the disks are powered by the USB bus and do not have their own external power supply the problem is that the laptop does not provide sufficient USB power to control both.

The USB specification, is that each port should provide 500mA at 5V. To keep their batteries, laptops usually provide 500mA to share between all available ports. If you need to use several USB devices with significant power, you must either externally powered USB hub or to provide the devices with their own power supply to cutting.

    Hello friend

I also have the dell site 7 16 GB, but never fell on these issues, except when I tried to upgrade my sd card 16 GB class 10 (san disk) to 32 GB class 10 (kingston). When I put the 32 GB it does not detect, so I tried my 16GB and everything was back to normal.

Maybe it's the inability of the dell site 7 in support of the higher upper memory class ability cards.

  • Windows 7 does not detect my external hard drive

Window 7 is able to detect my external hard drive under devices and printers, it is able to detect the hard drive, and there is no problem for her.  but only shows no not my external hard drive under my computer icon so I can't drag files

How can I find the hard drive and put the files?

    Thank you

    OK follow the instructions;

    • Click the windows icon
    • Right click on computer > then click on scabies
    • on the left, under storage, click Disk Management

now the hard tip. You must identify which is your external hard drive. It should say something like disc 1 - online (if you have other removable things such as memory card readers may be something like disk5). DO NOT TOUCH DISK 0 (c) because it is your operating system and nothing change may / will kill the system.

It doesn't have a letter from dirve allocated on the external drive then left and right click then click on change drive letter and paths.

Assign a new letter perhaps something like L: as who should enter into conflict with what it is then ok the windows... it should now appear.

Yet once just to reiterate do not assign c: or touch disk 0. you have been warned.

Here is a link with pretty pictures to help you a bit

The most difficult part is to find what is your hard drive. Good luck. If you're worried you can take a screenshot of the management of the computer and upload it to your skydrive. We would advise you that it is.

  • Computer Vista laptop does not detect my speakers!

When I turned on the laptop today, there is no sound coming from the speakers when I tried to listen to music. The speakers worked yesterday. When I right click on the sound icon in the menu of shortcuts in the lower corner on the right and click Open volume mixer, I can't find the speaker tab reading device (I made sure that both "show disabled devices" and "show disconnected devices" options are checked). The only device listed under the playback tab is "Peripheral digital output (HDMI)". When I turn on the music, the bars on the right side of this unit turn to the Greens according to the sound, but there is still no sound coming from the speakers. There is also no sound in headphones when I plug them in. When I go to Device Manager, disable "high definition audio device" under "Audio, video and game controllers" and reset the laptop, the "digital output device (HDMI)" disappears and no devices are listed on the playback tab in the volume mixer. When I activate the "device high definition audio ' back, the digital output device (HDMI) appears again. So I'm assuming that the computer recognizes speakers as HDMI device even if there is no plug HDMI connected to the laptop.

This troubleshooting help will be appreciated. Thank you.

    ==================================

You may need to update your display and video driver

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded: run DriverView - define the VIEW
for the drivers Microsoft hide - updated those without drain in their names. (Also updated
    the BIOS and chipset drivers.)

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows

  • Windows 7 does not detect external monitor!

Hi I have a huge dilemma!

My laptop does not recognize the external monitor. Earlier in the day, he detected the external monitor and perfectly well worked through to extend, in doubles, you name it. However, after restarting my computer, I was unable to get the external display to be recognized...

I use a laptop Lenovo y470 and nvidia gt 550 m 64-bit. I've updated the grahpics card but in vain...

The way I have it plugged into the external monitor is using a hdmi cable to connect the laptop to a monitor for a DVI-HDMI adapter. Basically, the dvi port became a port hdmi with this adapter.  its dvi - d.

I think that restarting the computer developed a few updates and the graphics card only connects via VGA or HDMI and DVI not? I'm not sure... I'd love any idea of a solution.

    Hello

If you do not see an option named multiple displays in your display settings, then Windows isn't detecting a second monitor plugged into your desktop computer. Or else, it does not detect an external monitor plugged into your laptop. When Windows detects this monitor, it will appear in the drop-down list next to the screen. If you do not see that what listed there, try click on Detect.

Make sure that the monitor you want to extend your desktop is turned on and plugged the correct video port on your computer. You may also need to select the correct source labeled on the controls of your monitor to ensure that the monitor is using the correct video port. For more information, consult the manual of your monitor or go to the manufacturer's Web site.
