Windows does not detect the external monitor after Blue Screen of Death

Hi guys,.

I currently have a problem with my second monitor, I installed the monitor (Acer G276HLA), it worked perfectly for about a month. Today, when I was working with SolidWorks, blue screen of death appeared 2 times and I have to restart my laptop. After the reboot, Windows does not detect my second monitor more, I tried my best but no luck, please me have this problems.

I use an HDMI cable to connect the laptop and the screen...

Best regards

Hyouka

Personal laptop is limited to the installation of other equipment, graphic monitor (s) push resources. If ram memory

is maximally, & the BIOS settings are set to a different monitor, Direct X updates, graphics software are updated, then

We should be able to run a reg monitor... Chk, go in run or cmd, type: DXDIAG run Direct X.

Also, the BIOS settings are critical, uninstall the default, add new ones.

  • HP 15-D103TX computer laptop problem: Windows does not detect the dedicated graphics card

    Hi all

I recently bought a laptop HP 15 - D103TX , which is held responsible for Free on BACK. I have updated my Windows 8 operating system and have installed all the drivers from the HP website. The laptop has dedicated 2 GB Nvidia Geforce 820 M graphics card.

But when I checked, I found that Windows displays the graphic memory dedicated only 0 MB.

As you can see in the screenshot, it shows as 0MB dedicated graphics memory.

Anyone can clear me, upward on this subject? Is it a driver problem, or what is Windows 8 going crazy.

Thank you very much in advance!

Okay, I found the solution. In fact, the Haswell Intel i5 processor that my 15 HP D103TX has also comes with an Intel 4600 GPU intregated. So when I do normal tasks, the GPU intregated works, so Windows does not display the NVIDIA GPU 820M, but when I play a game or doing intense graphics work, he switches to the NVIDIA one.

In fact, it makes sense, because it preserves the battery of the laptop.

Credit: found this solution on the NVIDIA support forums.

  • Windows 7 does not detect my external monitor. Why? How should I do?

Good, some basic information. The laptop at the origin of the problem is an HP laptop.  In other circumstances, I wouldn't care on this issue. But the screens on both of my computers cell phones don't work (they are Sun and incredibly difficult to see, barely visible) and I use an external monitor so for use.

    In other words, I used.

I have Windows 7 for one of my laptops, and it is already fully charged. But, I tried to connect my external monitor, it did not work. I tried to use the projection screen, pressing [FN + F4]and pressing on [FN +] other F keys, as well. Of course, I thought it was weird. So I looked for answers on the internet (on my other laptop), nothing works. Most only have problems with the monitor not working not properly; mine is not detected at all. I went to the display settings (have to squint shine with a light and bend my laptop screen in different directions), and it showed only 1 screen, the main screen. I tried to restart, stop, unplug the monitor and in him plugging back and turning the cable around. I know that the problem is not the cable, as I use it right now.

I also tried updating the drivers, but for one reason, the laptop now refuses to connect to the internet as well. So, now, I have a laptop completely useless with a black screen, and I can't put my files on it because of this black screen. Not that I'd be able to use it for something else, anyway.

You may need to update your display and video driver

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded: run DriverView - define the VIEW
for the drivers Microsoft hide - updated those without drain in their names. (Also updated
    the BIOS and chipset drivers.)

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Windows does not detect the controller Guitar Hero Explorer

Told me to repost this question into the Xbox forums. Unfortunately there is no category of material for Xbox so I put it in video Applications for lack of a better forum.

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-hardware/Windows-is-not-detecting-Guitar-Hero-Explorer/ff7bfae9-1ecb-4D2F-9134-e194e6cbfed3?TM=1392535709776&rtAction=1392692491927

"I have a Guitar Hero controller (Xplorer) to PC that I used with my laptop to play Guitar Hero 3 for many years. My laptop is Windows 7 64-bit. I recently bought a game also desktop computer now Win7 64-bit. While my Guitar Hero controller works fine on my laptop, the device is not recognized when I plug it on my desk. I installed controller Xbox found here, http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows accessories, but it made no difference. The device appears in the Device Manager with a suitable name, however, it is next to him yellow warning symbol and is not recognized as a game controller. I tried to let Windows Update search for the driver, but he found nothing.

It seems that my laptop uses a driver of XNA framework as the path of the certificate is "C:\Users\Daniel\system32\drivers\xnacc.sys". Curiously, even though my laptop and the Office have the latest version of installed XNA, xnacc.sys does not exist on the desktop. Two of my systems are completely up to date. I also made sure that the USB port on my desktop that I plugged the controller worked in and fed.
I would like to know how I can get the controller to work on my desk. »

After a lot of nonsense, I found a solution.

    (1) open the "Device Manager".
    (2) made the Guitar Hero controller right click Explore (even if it does not work correctly) and select "Properties".
    (3) Goto the tab "Driver" and click "Update Driver".
    4) click on "my computer for software driver the browser."
    5) click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers on my computer" instead of navigation.
    (6) select something like 'Common Microsoft device', I don't have the option anymore, so I can't search for it.
    (7) a new models will be listed for the Xbox controllers, I chose "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows [2007-02-15].
To check if his work type "game controllers" in the windows search bar and select "configure USB game controllers. The guitar hero controller should appear in the list if it is now recognized.

Maybe it's the inability of the dell site 7 in support of the higher upper memory class ability cards.

Go to the store and buy an optical drive. They are very expensive. No, you cannot use the optical drive of your laptop. You can possibly create a bootable USB key with a distribution of Linux on it and copy the correct boot hard disk files. I say "may" because not all older computers can boot from a USB device. Look in your BIOS to see if your computer has this capability. If he can:

    http://www.pendrivelinux.com

If you have not backed up your data, then you have trouble. While you're at the store also buy an external hard drive. You can start the computer with a Linux Live CD (in your new optical drive), and copy the files on the external hard drive. Then you can continue to try to repair your computer.

  • Cannot start Windows, Windows Setup does not detect the hard disk, Bootmgr is misiing

I have a few problems on my laptop [Acer 3810 t]

    -The first problem
My mobile give me screen "cannot start windows' who have 2 choices: run the Startup Repair tool and boot normally. I chose to fix it, but nothing happens and stuck "starting windows" and gives unmountable boot volume 'blue screen '. the Dungeon of blues screen appear (for laptop is a not restart). So I turned off my phone and turn it back on it. the "could not start" screen again and I chose to start normally. but the result is negative. My portable Dungeon cannot start windows. Because of that I am using the advanced boot option and choose all the boot type such asit cannot load the safemode, last configuration etc, but the result is the same, you cannot start windows. in safe mode, its stuck in loading fileinfo.sys. I do not give up to try again with the advanced boot option. until I have a bad situation. My laptop can only 1 file in safe mode and blues screen do not appear again (my laptop only return at the beginning of start or restart)

    -The second problem
because it cant solved, I want to reinstall my laptop. My OS is Vista 32 bit (pre-installed). I want to install the new operating system, windows 7. I use Dsik Flash bootable USB to install Windows 7. But in the BIOS, it is detected as a USB HDD. So I set my BIOS to load USB HDD to the first order. the installation can be done, but only until the "start Setup" screen and its deadlock. I have it wait up to an hour, but nothing happens. So I'm going to BIOS, change SATA mode to IDE mode AHCI. Then load the USB and go "installation program start screen. but the new problem is the installation of window does not detect my hard drive. So I can not choose the place to install the operating system. I have to load the driver, but I did not. Again to load the configuration to AHCI and IDE, until I get my HDD can detected in IDE mode. So I think I can move easily, I choose custom installation and choose the hard drive to install the operating system. But unfortunately, at the beginning of the process, after choosing the OS, the Installer gives error if installation location the installation failed. (I forgot the error message)

    -The third problem
So far, I can't spend 'startup begins' as well in mode IDE and AHCI. Also bootmgr in my hard disk is missing, so I can't go to move the startup repair or the startup option in my HDD as before

What is the error code that you got with blue screen?

I think that there is a problem with your drive HARD check that by contacting acer...

  • Windows 7 does not detect multiple external hard drives

I recently bought a HP Pavilion laptop to 7 Home Premium. I have two 500 GB external hard drives. When I connect them individually to the system, they are recognized and I can copy files to and from these External Drives. But when I try to connect both at the same time, Windows 7 does not detect the drive I connect then. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the disks are powered by the USB bus and do not have their own external power supply the problem is that the laptop does not provide sufficient USB power to control both.

The USB specification, is that each port should provide 500mA at 5V. To keep their batteries, laptops usually provide 500mA to share between all available ports. If you need to use several USB devices with significant power, you must either externally powered USB hub or to provide the devices with their own power supply to cutting.
