  There is no way to have both separate schedules added and share a date.  Tell Apple what missing features you want restored or new features added in Photos via https://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html.

  You could create a new calendar with personal anniversaries and holidays.  I think that would be the case with the exception of those holidays that might change the date to when if fell, which is Memorial Day for one.

  I had a similar problem with another camera, but a very similar configuration, a round lid on a stack of pancakes about two years ago. I got to have adhesive PuTTY handy of Museum at the time.  I took enough Putty to cover the circular cover, let it sit for just a moment, or so that he could 'stick' (it's not like glue, it will come off easily). I have enough of the dough (about a 3/4 inch ball) used to create a handle and everything pushing down pretty firmly on the sealant to keep it on the cover, I did one-quarter turn and cover came out.   I hope that you have verified that the flash lights up completely and you get the red light showing that it is ready to fire.

  On your system menu 60 d, if you find the "Flash control" option, you can ensure that you have not set the external speedlite to 'disable' - although I think in this mode, you wouldn't get the message you describe.  that is, I doubt it's, but you can double check.

  A more common reason for the failure is that the flash of the camera can perfectly communicate with flash.  This is usually due to a bad connection in the 'foot' of the lightning.

  The flash must be in place in the rails of the claw.  Make sure that the lock is released, fully slide the flash into the rails of the hoof, stop.  Engage the locking of the foot, so we got him firmly (it will slide to the right and then click sur-pour-snap (you must press the button to release the locking lever).)  This is not * only * snug foot... He also puts a tiny metal pin locking in a small hole in the claw so that flash can't get out.

  You may not be able to solve this problem.  Try to scan and see if it does the same thing.  If so, then the scanner lamp is out, and you need a new printer.  If not, I'll see what I can find.

  Richard's suggestion is about as extreme as you can get. Of course, it works very well and the data is not recoverable, but unless you have State secrets then it might be a little overkill. It is the only way to be sure that the data is destroyed, but 100%!

  There are programs such as (Darin of Boot and Nuke) DBAN or KillDisk which can erase the disc at the point where it would take massive resources (money, time and material) to retrieve all the data. Then, a new installation or Windows recovery would be needed. But you don't have to replace the hard drive. It is effective even against the pirates experienced more than 99.9%.
